Chapter 7 - Omake 2: The Temple of Goatia

"Beg for help! Raise your lovely voice! Its time to drown in a sea of anguish...that is your only salvation..."

"Its only two days late on a return!" Annette argued, throwing her hands up as the one armed librarian approached her in the dining hall "I'll return it right now! I promise!"

"Move!" Goetia announced "You are granted this reprieve! Flee! Return what you took from my temple! Sing stories of my mercy to you!"

"S-so...can I return my late book with her?" A hesitant voice called out behind him. Slowly, he turned to the pink haired Hilda staring at him with a pensive expression.

"Welcome." He announced, his face remaining blank "Straight to the point, you are going to die. Pointless talk ends here. Pleas of mercy ignored and salvation from your fate, impossible!"

"Goetia." Seteth called out as he entered the Dining hall, an irritated look on his face "We have told you before, do not threaten the students for having been late to return their books."

"They disgrace my temple of knowledge."

"It is the churches temple, if anyone's." Seteth pointed out with a frown "And even then, you remain Tomas's assistant for the moment."

Goetia lowered his arm, he frowned slightly "The principle of who controls the library remains the same...however if all that needs be done to acquire control of it is replace Tomas...then I shall remove him myself."

"Do not threaten the staff either."

"It is no true concern." Goetia waved him off "I shall simply possess his corpse as I did my fathers. No one shall be able to tell the difference."

"No. The disturbing implications of what you have just stated aside, being in charge of the library would not gift you the right to bring bodily harm to the student body." Seteth sighed out as he pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Then what is the point of running a temple if one does not punish thieves?"

"They are not thieves!" Seteth exclaimed in irritation "They are borrowing the books and will return them!"

"She has missed her opportunity." He gestured to Hilda "That makes her a thief...and she must be punished accordingly for her transgression."

"She will be helping you in the library for the number of days she failed to return the book. Is that sufficient?"

"...It will suffice."

"Don't I get a say in this!?" Hilda exclaimed, the pair turned to her and offered a simple rebuttal.

"No."
