> "Who approved this matchup?"
"No one. The tournament board changed itself."
"That's... impossible."
Val'shara stands at the center of the arena — tall, cloaked in living shadow, her eyes still blindfolded.
But she sees everything.
Raze walks in, shirtless (again), cracking his neck.
> "Are you sure you're allowed to fight? You look like a final boss."
"You are not the true Vessel. But you carry his scent."
"...Are you flirting or threatening me?"
"Yes."

Val'shara moves like liquid night — every attack distorts the arena. Space folds. Time stutters.
Raze dodges. Barely.
His fists hit her. She doesn't bleed — but the ground behind her does.
She whispers ancient incantations.
Chains of the Abyss erupt around Raze.
They tighten.
Raze grits his teeth.
His spine cracks. His back glows — with abyssal runes.

"I never am. I just hit things harder."
He roars. Breaks the chains. Slams a punch into her chest.
A shockwave flattens part of the arena.
She stumbles.
> "Impossible…"
"You're the real thing."

Kaelira steps into the ring. Cold. Ready.
Eiro grins — abyssal marks glowing on his neck.
> "You're just a blade waiting to be broken."

They clash.
Steel vs illusion. Rage vs ambition.
He taunts her.
> "Your 'brother' won't survive. And you'll lose both your past and future in one swing."
She goes silent.
Then screams.
Her sword burns violet. The mark of the Abyss appears on her blade.
> "You want a Vessel? Fine."
"Let's see who deserves the throne more."

She steps over him.

"Fade."
She raises her hand to end him.
Then—
His heart stops.
For a second.
Then beats once with a noise that splits the sky.
BOOM.
A pulse erupts.
The abyss runes on his back ignite.
His eyes glow red-black.
And from somewhere deep inside—
> "Welcome back... son."
