A/N: Hello Again and welcome to my latest story. I hope you all enjoy it and let me know your thoughts.

Mother Earth moved with nervous excitement, her steps sounding out as she hurriedly moved along the cobbled path before her. In any other situation she might have laughed at herself, for the very idea of being in a rush was foreign to beings like 'her'. Today was not any other day.
As she moved, her eyes took in the sight of countless flashing lights and dazzling displays that made up the 'walls' surrounding her. The hues moved along to a chaotic pattern that only very few could hope to ever understand. Solar Sytems seemed to be nothing more than wall ornaments, while entire Galaxies swung 'above' her head like multifaceted chandeliers. Suffice to say, it was a fantastical sight straight out of mythology. Paying no mind to the 'mundane' sights around her, Mother Earth made her way to an inconspicuous well that seemed almost entirely out of place in this place.
Looking into the seemingly regular sized well, Mother Earth knew that the time was ripe for everything she had worked so hard for to begin. She couldn't help the very real feeling of fear that floated up in her as she investigated the pitch-black waters of the Eternal Well. Seeing the countless kaleidoscopic light orbs that floated at various depths inside the well, some shining brilliantly with so many colors it was impossible to count, others looked more like dim balls of mud.
As she watched she saw many of the dimmer balls seem to fall apart and disperse into the waters of the well, leaving barely any trace of their existence. Taking a steadying breath, Mother Earth gently reached out her hand and called out a similar orb from within herself, pausing to view the blue and white orb with love and hesitation. Then, after only a brief pause, she gently tossed the core of her existence into the bottomless well. Watching the physical manifestation of her essence gently float down the into the depths Mother Earth only gave a slight sigh and turned to leave the way she came. Everything else would depend on her children.
