Chapter 1 - The Judges

Several years ago, a man was convicted of sexual assault against multiple women. A day before the man's hearing, the man went missing. the officers in charge of his case alerted the officials but however much they searched, the man was nowhere to be found.

A week went by with no news on the man's whereabouts until one late night, a scream was heard from the man's cell. When officers rushed into the man's room to find out what had occurred, they found the man on his knees with a blank expression on his face and the word judged written across his forehead. the next morning, they interrogated the man, but he refused to speak, or he couldn't speak. he sat in silence for a month. Until, on the day of his second hearing, the man was found dead, and his once pale grey eyes were now pitch black and his expression was one horror.

Ever since that day, several criminals have gone missing. Some came back in disturbed mental states and died after a few days while others came back with no memory of their past but otherwise alright.

Several years passed, and a girl named Anchor was living with her broken family in the middle of Calipso. Anchor had to work hard to earn her own money due to her father's selfishness and incompetence. Her father refused to provide for his family and forbid Anchor's mother from working herself. Because according to him women must only, please their husbands as beings below them. Anchor never liked being at home because her father often acted out of anger and took that anger out on her and her mother. One afternoon anchor tried to escape with her mother, but he found the two and beat them brutally.

One evening as Anchor was working on a school project, a live video caught her attention. She clicked on the video. As Anchor watched the video, she noticed that the man who was reported to be dead due to strange circumstances was her father's friend. After all her suffering and having to pay the bills in the house that she was abused in, Anchor decided that her father deserved to suffer as much as she had. She hoped that her father would face the same fate as those criminals.

The next day, as soon as anchor got home, she sneaked it her parent's room and woke her mother who was sleeping just beside her father. She woke her mother up and slowly led her outside the house. Her mother was confused but she listened to Anchor. Anchor walked her mother to a bus station and but her on a bus to Lypis. She waved her mother goodbye as she forced a smile, and as soon as her mother was out of sight he dropped to her knees and began to sob. she quickly collected herself after five minutes of sobbing and contacted the police. She reported her father for domestic violence and within an hour he was arrested. That night, Anchor was able to sleep well for the first night. As she slept anchor began to hear these slight angry voices that called her by name. When Anchor woke up the next morning, she brushed off the weird feeling and went to school quite dazed but still relived that her mother was safe and her father was to be punished. As she went home that day, Anchor met a few of her classmates on the road to her tiny apartment.

When one of them saw her, she tapped a girl on her shoulder a stepped behind her. the girl was tall and well put together. She had a privileged feeling to her. the girl walked up to her and smiled menacingly. "Hey, aren't you that girl whose father recently went missing?"

Anchor looked up quickly. "Disappeared?"

"Must be sad. " The girl answered, ignoring Anchor's question. Anchor stayed quiet and turned her face towards the ground. the girl came up to her and shoved her head. "Can't you hear me?" she said smugly, "how-does-it-feel-being-the-daughter-of-a-criminal." Anchor fell to the floor. the girl rolled her eyes and scoffed. then she raised her hand; but before the girl could land a hit on her cheek anchor heard a voice and looked behind her. Anchor got up and began to walk. the girl who was formally bullying her run up behind Anchor and put her had on her shoulder then quickly jerked it back. it had zapped the girl slightly. Anchor continued to walk for what seemed to be an hour. by the time Anchor snapped back to reality, she found herself outside the house she sent her mother to. The voices that had led her there suddenly disappeared. She shrugged of the experience and walked into the house. Anchor sat down at the table and her mother, though physically surprised, welcomed her.

"Anchor. My dear. Are you okay. Have you been eating well. let me get you something to eat." Anchor's mother spoke to her as she patted her hair then quickly rushed to the kitchen a brought her a hot meal. "Eat. you've gotten skinner since you sent me away. now that we are together, I will feed you well." Anchor smiled gently and eat her meal. After the meal Anchor took a warm shower and fell asleep next to her mother.

The next morning, Anchor woke up to the sound of a vacuum. She quickly got up and went to the living room to help her mother clean up. After she finished cleaning with her mother, Anchor went to take a shower. As she showered, she had familiar voices. but she brushed it off, finished her shower, got dressed and went to eat breakfast with her mother. She opened the door and immediately felt herself weaken. on the floor she saw a pool of blood on the floor leading to the front door, flashing blue and red lights through her window and heard loud sirens outside her window. Anchor quickly rushed outside the house. She saw her mother fully covered on a stretcher and her father handcuffed at the back of a police car. Everything went silent around her and Anchor saw nothing for a long time. Then, everything snapped. Infront of her, Anchor saw a high table with four shady figures sitting Infront of her. One of the figures spoke out in timid voice as she bit her nails. "We have been waiting for you for quite some time Anchor. come join us. " Anchor broke out in tears and walked up to the table. she took her sit which was deep blue in color and had water holding it up. She took her place as the fifth judge on her table. As she sobbed am man was brought in by a man in a dark robe. it was her father. Anchor stood up from her chair and walked towards her father. She held back the sleeve of her right hand and used it to pick up the searing hot tool held by the man in a robe. Anchors father begged as she brought the tool towards his forehead and was held down by two of the men. She pressed the tool on his forehead and his eyes immediately turned a deep black and he fell stiff on the ground. Anchor walked up to her sit put her head down continuing to sob.

One judged screamed in anger about not having the chance to judge the man herself, another judge, another asked malicious questions about why anchors sit was more interesting than hers, the other began to brag about her successful cases and the last flipped through papers as she ripped her hair out. Anchors father had been Jugded.
