'Thinking'
Zod is the name of our main character—his father, of course, was the one who named him. A DC fan naming a future Dragon Ball fan is quite funny, in retrospect. Zod had always been a crazy guy when calculating power levels and analyzing the output of attacks in Dragon Ball. Though he hated how inconsistent the Dragon Ball franchise could be at times, he still enjoyed doing all of that. He also liked training in martial arts and would sometimes try and re-create some stuff from anime. Like the technique of Bang from One Punch Man, Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist. They are just Walmart versions, naturally.
Zod Pov
Another shitty day with that horrible boss. Co-workers were even more on edge today due to the market ratings. Could not even get one chat in without politics.
And, of course, the one time I get a word in, I get pulled in for drinks.
'Hey, maybe I should not be walking around near the busiest street. I'll cross over there so that I can at least get to a safer route.'
While walking down the street, something hit me in the face, giving me a lot of whiplash and making it so I couldn't even move or think straight. My eyes are closed.
'Hey, it is getting brighter outside.'
I opened my eyes and saw a truck headed towards me. 'This is gonna hurt a lot.'
I blinked. Or at least, I think I blinked. It's hard to tell when the last thing you remember is your spine arguing with a truck. One second, I was stapling reports and hating my life; the next, I was face-to-face with something that looked like an Analog Eldritch Horror.
"I'm dead, aren't I?" I asked. The thing chuckled? "Correct, Zod. Truck-Kun clocked you at 45 MPH (72 km/h). That's a wrap. But lucky you! You've been chosen for the 'Reincarnate' package. Three wishes. No refunds. No therapy. Ready?"
I nodded. What else do you do when purgatory has a horror staring at you like you might be food?
"First wish," I said, "Make me a Saiyan-Viltrumite hybrid."
"Cute," the R.O.B. said, tilting its head. "But there is a consequence. You are getting punted straight into Dragon Ball. It would be boring otherwise. You're Welcome."
"Wait, what, consequence?"
'Well damn, so I won't be able to go for op stuff.'
I scowled. "Fine. Wish two: I want a system. Let me grow faster than most."
"Oho! Are you sure? This one makes your new world harder. The difficulty is going up like Goku's Cholesterol."
I nod.
"Last wish: I want to absorb energy."
"Sure. But only up to twice your power level. Push past that, and… let's just say your atoms will get real confused."
'Well, isn't that just great?'
Before I could ask anything, it all goes dark, and I get that annoying falling feeling people tend to have in some dreams.
'Man, I will miss Earth, but I also won't. I'll probably want to crawl back to it seeing as the difficulty was said to be increased. But not having to deal with a world going into depression will be great. And I won't be limited by a fragile body. Hopefully.'

Zenkai (Near-Death Recovery Boost):
The Saiyans can become significantly stronger after recovering from near-death experiences. Each time they suffer near-fatal damage, their power and abilities are enhanced, allowing them to learn and adapt rapidly in combat situations if given the proper time to recover.
Regeneration (Vultrumite Healing):
The Vultrumites have a rapid regenerative healing factor. Injuries that would take hours or days to heal for others may take mere minutes for the Vultrumites. This allows them to recover from wounds much faster than most beings.
Vultrumite Longevity:
Just like the Saiyans, Vultrumites have an extended lifespan and age much slower than most other races. However Vultrumites remain in peak physical condition for centuries, granting them the ability to fight for long periods without suffering from physical decay. This also means they could potentially live to see the rise and fall of entire generations of warriors.

When exposed to the light of a full moon, the Saiyans can transform into the Oozaru, significantly increasing their size and strength. This transformation enhances physical strength exponentially, at least ten times, but can reduce cognitive control. In their Oozaru form, the Saiyans can cause widespread destruction.
