❖ Training Grounds – Guild Tower Sub-Level 4, "Whispering Arena"

Beneath the towering walls of the Korea Guild's main base, nestled in a hidden level accessible only to registered hunters, lay the Whispering Arena—a high-tier simulation chamber designed to mimic gate conditions, complete with adjustable monster difficulty and terrain shifts.

The room shifted constantly, glowing in faint twilight hues. Wind simulated real pressure. Mist curled around Jin Hwan's feet like living fog.

He stood alone inside the center ring, facing a silver training dummy the size of a small ogre.

"…You sure I can handle this?" he muttered, ears twitching in caution.

[System Alert: You asked for a challenge. Here it is.]

[Simulation Difficulty: D+]

[Bonus Quest Activated: Don't Die Like a Fool]

[Reward: Random Passive Skill]

[System Mood: Popcorn ready.]

The dummy lunged. Fast.

Jin Hwan barely dodged, feeling the wind of the punch pass his face.

"Wind Step!" he cried out.

His body shimmered in motion blur as he zipped behind the dummy, landing a soft slap against its back with Rabbit's Mark. The mark glowed faintly, enhancing tracking data on the dummy's movements.

"Now—Aerial Drift!"

He leapt, spun midair using the system's wind channels, and delivered a graceful double-kick that looked more like a dance move than an attack.

The dummy stumbled. Only slightly.

He landed, panting.

[System Alert: You look cool. Damage Output: 3.7%][System Suggestion: Eat more carrots.]

A woman clapped slowly from the viewing deck.

Name: Ryu Hae-Rin

Rank: A-Rank Hunter

Guild: Scarlet Frost

Specialization: Ice Weapons

Status: Popular Idol Hunter, Fan Club President of Herself

She leaned against the glass, twirling an ice shard between her fingers.

"That was surprisingly elegant… for a bunny," she said, smirking.

Jin Hwan blinked up at her. "Wait—you're Ryu Hae-Rin?"

She winked. "Yup. And you're the bunny boy who made a whole guild forum go crazy. Thought I'd check you out."

He gulped. "N-Not much to check."

"Liar. Your charm stat's at least 19."

"How do you know that?!"

"Let's spar."

❖ Duel: Jin Hwan vs Ryu Hae-Rin – Moonlit Arena Setting

The simulation shifted again. Now, soft moonlight streamed down into the arena. A fantasy forest lined the edges. Mist hugged the roots of enormous trees. The audience chamber dimmed to black.

Ryu Hae-Rin conjured twin daggers of pure frost.

"Show me what your rabbit ears can do."

Jin Hwan activated Rabbit's Wind Aura, and the air around him shimmered like a soft breeze swaying grass. His agility rose—he felt it.

She dashed.

He moved.

It was a flurry of silver and blue. Her attacks were fluid, elegant, honed. His dodges were instinctual, precise, panic-driven—but beautiful.

He flipped backward using Aerial Drift, created space, then whispered—

"Rabbit's Mark."

It tagged her shoulder, glowing golden.

"Oh? Tricky," she murmured, then smiled wide. "Let's get serious."

❖ Five Minutes Later…

They stood apart again, breathing heavily.

Hae-Rin's cheeks were flushed.

"So light… You moved like air."

"I—I just didn't want to die…"

She laughed.

"I take it back. You're not C-rank. You're a disaster wrapped in gold."

❖ Post-Duel – Garden Courtyard

Jin Hwan sat on a bench under an old cherry blossom tree. Moonlight washed over him. His rabbit ears twitched lazily as he stared at the glowing system interface in front of him.

He let out a long sigh.

"…I'm just a bunny with good reflexes. Why does everyone keep watching me?"

The system pulsed.

[Answer: Because you're too dumb to notice your own greatness. Also, you're hot.]

"…Thanks?"

Footsteps approached.

Joo-Yeon plopped down beside him. She stared at him with puffed cheeks.

"You dueled Ryu Hae-Rin."

"Uh… yeah. She kind of challenged me?"

"I brought you lunch yesterday. And you didn't even say thank you."

"I—uh—"

She flicked his forehead.

"You owe me three compliments and a dinner. Romantic one."

Before he could answer, Cho Hana appeared behind the tree.

"I'm learning how to stab people in their sleep."

"...What?"

She nodded.

"It's called pillow-style assassination. I'll use it if you cheat on all of us."

"All of you?!"

[System Mood: Warning. You've stepped into the early stages of Harem Hazard II.]

❖ Late Night – System Update

Back in his dorm room, Jin Hwan laid in bed, unable to sleep. The golden system screen hovered beside him, faintly pulsing.

[Level Up Progress: 180 / 2400 XP][Relationship Flags: 3 Activated][New System Option Unlocked: Personal Domain – Coming Soon]

[System Note: Rest well, golden bunny. Tomorrow, the world gets a little louder.]
