Chapter 15 - Chapter14

As Anna walked towards El's bed, Elsa pulled Anna back again.

For some reason, she felt something unusual in her heart, but she couldn't figure out what it was.

"Mm?"

Anna turned back with confusion.

"Anna, I don't think this is a good idea. Elijah is already resting."

Elsa spoke softly, suddenly feeling a bit guilty under Anna's gaze.

"It's fine, El won't be angry. Trust me, he'll just be a little helpless."

Anna smiled and pulled Elsa forward to keep walking.

Elsa, however, kept looking around El's room as she walked, not caring where Anna was taking her.

El's room was still beautifully decorated. He had decorated it himself, and his taste was pretty good.

After all these years, he had slowly transformed the room into something really stunning.

Now, Elsa was completely captivated by the decorations in the room, and she couldn't stop looking around with curiosity.

"Elsa?"

Anna watched Elsa with amusement as she acted like a curious child, unaware they were getting closer to the bed.

Anna chuckled to herself. She remembered the first time she had secretly snuck into Ail's room. She was like Elsa, looking everything around and forgetting why she had come in.

Later, when she snuck in a few more times, she would always play with everything first and only stop when she had played with it all.

After a while, she didn't immediately think about playing when she entered the room.

"Mm?"

Elsa was interrupted while observing the room. She had just noticed the decorations on the ceiling and almost couldn't stop looking at them, but she forced herself to look away for now.

When she saw Anna quietly laughing, Elsa felt embarrassed and didn't know what to say. She just followed along and chuckled awkwardly.

"By the way, have you never been in El's room before?"

After a moment of laughter, Anna broke the awkward silence and asked Elsa.

"…"

"Yes, I haven't come in a long time. I used to come every day."

Elsa said, but she only thought about the last part.

For some reason, Elsa felt a bit melancholic at that moment. To be honest, back then, the two of them would often jump around the castle with Anna, but their relationship had begun to fade at some point.

Elsa hadn't noticed it until now, but now, thinking about it...

'I really haven't been to El's room in such a long time. I didn't realize it had changed this much.'

"It's okay! We can come to visit El and play with him more often. Sometimes, when you're not around, I'll come over to chat and play games with him. He's amazing, and we can play so many games!"

Seeing Elsa's worried face, Anna had no idea what was going on or what Elsa was thinking, but she noticed that Elsa seemed a bit sad and quickly changed the subject.

"Oh? Really? What kind of games? Tell me about them."

For some reason, Elsa felt an overwhelming urge to know more about him and quickly asked.

 "Shh~"

Anna whispered, putting a finger to her lips.

"Up ahead is where El is sleeping. We need to be quiet. Elsa, look carefully."

Anna pointed to the blanket that was raised in front of them.

"Mm? Anna, what are you trying to do?"

Elsa asked, bewildered.

"No, no, no, this isn't okay!"

As soon as she asked the question, Elsa knew what Anna was about to do. She watched Anna jump up, trying to sit directly on the side of the bed.

However, it was too late to stop her, and Elsa didn't realize her voice had become a bit louder. In the end, she could only helplessly close her eyes.

"Eh?"

The surprised exclamation Elsa had imagined didn't come, instead, she heard Anna's voice filled with confusion.

Elsa's ears twitched, and she opened her eyes.

To her surprise, Anna was sitting on the side of the bed with just a blanket, with El nowhere to be found.

Anna looked around, searching for El, and muttering to herself, "This can't be. He was definitely asleep, so how come he's not here now?"

Seeing that things hadn't gone as imagined, Elsa couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

"Anna, are you looking for me?"

El walked in from the door, holding his little white cat, Ellie.

Ellie had just enjoyed a late-night snack and was now comfortably resting under El's gentle strokes.

However, El was secretly being a bit rough with her because his strokes were a little too forceful...

'I think... it's time to consider cutting back on her meals and starting proper training.'

El's gaze turned a bit dark as he stared at the little white cat in his hands.

Ellie, still enjoying the petting, remained blissfully unaware that her future days might not be as easy as they seemed.

"Wait a minute, El, when did you run over there? Was it magic?"

Anna asked with a surprised look on her face. She sat on El's side bed and started letting her wild imagination run wild again.

Facing Anna's endless questions, El just smiled and didn't say anything.

Since Anna barged in and played a little prank on him the first time, El had become more cautious, and his sleep had become lighter.

So, when Anna and Elsa entered the room, he was already aware, but he continued to pretend to be asleep.

Moreover, ever since mastering his ice control magic, El started spreading a thin layer of ice on the floor before going to sleep.

The moment anyone stepped on it, he could instantly detect it.

He had figured this out during his free time while practicing his ice magic, and now it seemed to work pretty well.

After ignoring Anna, who was lost in her own thoughts, El turned his attention to Elsa.

For some reason, El's gaze seemed to have some kind of magic. Elsa felt her ears start to turn red, not knowing what to do. She could only lower her head to hide it, not daring to meet El's eyes.

"Elsa, why are you letting Anna cause trouble today?"

Elijah looked at Elsa, who was acting so shy in front of him.

It felt slightly different, but he was also curious about why Elsa, usually so calm and behaved, would join Anna in causing trouble.

"Who's causing trouble? I'm not causing any trouble, hmph!"

Anna immediately protested when she heard him say she was misbehaving.
