Chapter 4 - Chapter - 3 The Transmigrator who was denied A system

The Pain!

The Pain!

The Pain!

'It was unbearable' Alexander yelled internally.

Alexander's body fell from the bench.

Thud

With the finely cut stone beneath him.

As he fell, he made contact with the finely cut stone grounded beneath him,

The ground seems cold despite the sun shining brightly at its zenith.

Its warm embracement was absent for the youth.

He felt lost

His body writhed in constant pain.

Without control, he shivered and quivered in response to the overwhelming stimuli.

His mind felt an intense pounding as an influx of information was forcibly erased from his mind.

Gritting his teeth Alexander felt his gums ache and his eyes turned bloodshot.

Eventually, he lost consciousness.

It was a momentary relief.

Without his knowledge, detailed information about the body's previous owner was added to his hippocampus.

Time seemed to distort.

It felt as if every cell in Alexander's body was being altered.

His very existence felt misplaced.

A portion of his very being was being mutilated and defiled.

However longer this went on, Alexander did not know.

Time seemed to lengthen.

It was as if the world was mocking Alexander.

Atheria

A world filled with paths, civilizations, and countless races spalled across millions of miles of distance this world's great plane covered.

Beasts and people of unfathomable power roamed freely and untamed within this domain.

This was the world of the 'Twilight Sword Sovereign'

An unmatched masterpiece created by the entity known as the [Great One]

Several such worlds exist within its countless constellations.

Yet this world is the only one of such which allows its inhabitants to reach unparalleled power.

But in their pursuit of ultimate power, Atheias inhabitants remained unaware of the watchful gaze of the Great One, whose intentions were as veiled as the night sky.

It was a threat to the Great One's dominion over his creation.

But nevertheless it never seemed to mind the threat.

Altheria was a place beyond natural advancement.

Mercy was a term not known to its inhabitants.

Scuffles between empires were commonplace.

Genocide was normal

People of terrifying power roamed freely.

A nomad living within a cave could wield the power to destroy the land masses the size of our continents.

The only reason such a power was attainable was due to paths.

A path.

A path is one's journey to power, the very manifestation of their struggle.

 How did they yield it?

How much effort did the practitioner put in?

How much did the being sacrifice!

Will was needed.

There were no shortcuts to obtaining power!

No philosophy was predetermined!

The sky was the limit!

Any class!

Any goal!

There were a vastly absurd amount of different energies and powers within Atheria!

As long as a person saw it feasible,

and made it tangible that they were struck with no bounds.

There was a countless number of possibilities for a being to reach sovereign strength…

Yet talent was the binding factor that bashed most practitioners at the knees during their pursuit.

10 ranks scaled power within the world.

Fledgling, Fellow, Scire, Practitioner, Expert, Master, Enlightened, Pathmaker, Monarch, Sovereign

This was the world, many readers knew and loved

Lux, the protagonist of this world, was born of noble descent within one of the many human empires.

The Polemian Empire

A place where the powerful thrived, militant power rained dominate, and kin and descendants were expected to reach unparalleled power.

The talented were revered.

While the weak bore the weight of ridicule and suffering.

Lux's father was a duke and his mistress was one of the fallen kings many kin.

Together they birthed Lux,

As many system protagonists are, Lux was a stain on his family name.

An untalented bastard who was born with a body unfit to control any of the countless mystic powers within Atheria

Such a possibility was nearly impossible to chance.

Of course, a person could be born with a body unfit for a specific path.

Or the person had trouble with talent…

But the idea of someone not born with the ability to even wield, manipulate or even grasp the concept of energy, was a paradigm never heard of!

That was Lux!

Fortunately, through years of rigorous nonstop training, his pleads were heard in a different form.

The system!

His tool to reach his desired power

The goal which he lusted for!

[The Great one] an ambiguous entity who tended this world chose Lux as an inheritor of the [Twilight Sword sovereign system]

A dual elementalist, while not an exactly rare trait, was exceptionally looked upon.

His story was one of suffering, strife, and adversity, yet he was blessed with a harem.

With his dashing looks, he councoured many young maidens all of whom were unique, powerful, and talented.

In other words

They basically conquered themselves after being blessed to be in Lux's holy presence for more than 12 seconds.

Alexander was now in this world.

But unlike most transmigrators who can vividly recall the location of each broken item, gain unparalleled advantage with future knowledge with the novel, and gain a system which can put the original Mc's own to shame.

Yeah that wasn't Alexander

He didn't remember shit within the novel except for the more important plot which was basically a recalling of a broken and scattered narrative.

Artifact locations perhaps?

Also no, Alexander read the novel to enjoy the story, not study it.

Of course, he recalled the most important items.

But knowing that wasn't going to give him an advantage or step ahead of his natural counterparts.

Alexander was royally fucked!

He was essentially kidnapped against his will and thrown into a hellscape of a world.

It's like taking an average person from the street, placing them in the barren landscape of a desert, and expecting them to survive or even thrive in such an environment.

Alexander was denied his system.
