Synopsis
"Anatomy of Us" is not just a title—it's a map of everything they were. It’s the way Anshika’s laughter lived in the silence between their fights. The way Anant’s name found a home in her diary long before she admitted it. It’s the nervous texts, the stolen glances, the late-night calls, and the kind of love that feels too big for their teenage hearts. "Anatomy" speaks of the parts—the small, intimate moments that built the "us." From friendship to love, from dreams to heartbreak, from promises made to trust broken. Every feeling, every memory, every scar—it’s all part of the structure. This story isn’t just about falling in love. It’s about understanding it—piece by piece, feeling by feeling. It’s about how something so whole can come apart and still live on, in fragments, inside them both. "Anatomy of Us" is what remains when love is no longer just a feeling, but a story carved into two hearts.

Any piece of advice from viewers is welcome.

Anshika's POV :

I was hearing a loud beeping sound and as time passed- the more its intensity grew and the more it became irritating to my ears.

I want to sleep a little more but I have no choice. I rose up from my bed and opened the door of my room.

An alarm clock was lying on the floor in front of my door. I knew my mother has kept it - "Ahhhhh".She always wakes me up like this.

"We are going to visit your Swati aunty today. So wear some nice clothes and get ready quickly" My mother ordered me.

Wait! Swati aunty. If I am not wrong. She was my mother's best friend during college . I had met her once during a wedding some years back. I remember she came along with her- son.

"What was his name? " I asked this question to myself while brushing my teeth. Ummm. I think it was something with s. What was that fatty's name again. Ummmmm. Sumit. Yes it was Sumit.

I still remember that day when I met him. It was the wedding of a friend of my mother and Swati aunty during their college days. I was 6 years old. I was bored during that wedding and I was roaming around like I still do in any social gathering. I really am a typical ambivert- a mixture of introvert and extrovert. I don't like making many friends and nor do I talk to many people. So I was just strolling around when I saw a fat boy around my age - surrounded by a dog.

FLASHBACK :

The dog was eyeing the plate with samosa which he was holding in his hand.I too am a little afraid of dogs but I picked up a stone and threw it near the dog.

The dog backed a little bit and then started staring towards me. I then saw that boy who was still standing terrified holding his plate.

"Do you want to die? Or are you an idiot? Throw that plate or else get ready to become the food of this dog. "

"No this is my samosa. If I give it to him then what would I eat. "He replied with his cute pleading eyes.

He was looking too pitiful- he had fleshy cheecks and his eyes appeared as if he would start crying at the very instant. If I would have been that dog then I would have let the little fatty go but I was not the dog.

"Idiot! Just throw that plate. I promise I would give you five big samosa once you throw those two."

He started smiling at the mention of five samosas. "Okay" He told and then stared at the plate for one minute. "I love you my dear samosa but five are better than two. " He threw his samosas little far towards a bush nearby and the dog then ran after the samosa.

"Now give me my Five samosa" He said showing me his palms.

" I don't have it here but I have kept it with your mum. Come with me to your mum and she will give you. "I honestly didn't knew his mother but I could not leave this fatty here or else who knows if he would start quarreling with the dog - again for his samosa. So I tricked him and decided to use this method to give this fatty to his mother.

" You really have samosa? Or have you tricked me so that you can save yourself from the dog. " He then again started making the pitiful look.

Such a ungrateful person. I saved him from the dogs and now he was questioning me. Ahhhhh. Why did I even help him.

"You are not answering. So you fooled me. I hate you. You promised. " He now had his eyes filled with tears."You promised" His voice was now accompanied with snobs.

"Yes I really have samosas with your mother. Now stop crying or I will give you a punch. "

He was becoming irritating for me.

He stopped crying. We continued walking towards the guests and then he ran towards a lady and hugged her. "Mumma! My five samosa. " He was now giving the cute look to the lady- his mother.

This lady seems familiar to me as if I had seen her somewhere but I really don't care. All I wanted to do was to disappear from the boy's sight as soon as possible.

She is looking like a ghost dipped in makup.Wait! Why do I even care about how people nearby me are looking. But I had nothing to do as after running away from the boy I was now sitting on a chair and just looking at the people nearby me dressed in all sorts of glamorous clothes and commenting and compairing them in my mind.

"Mumma, She is the liar. "

I knew this voice. I had just heard and ran away from it.

"So you are the girl who saved my son from the dog. Thank you dear." A lady I mean fatty's mom said rubbing my head in a sweet manner.

" I just saw him auntie and to bring him to you I made the excuse of five. . "

I couldn't complete my sentence when he interrupted. "She lied mumma"He said making those cute pleading eyes.

Ahhhh! Again those eyes.

" No Sumit, she helped you from the dog and promised you to give samosa to bring you to me and I already gave you enough samosa's.Okay. Now say Thank you . " She gently patted him.

"Thank you" He said but I knew he didn't mean it but I didn't even care if he meant or not.

"Swati is that you? " Suddenly my mom's voice interrupted us and we all turned to her.

"Anita.Yes it's me" Fatty's mom replied.

My mom and fatty's mom both hugged each other. My mom then saw me and asked "Have you already met my daughter anshika? ".

" So she is your daughter. You have a very sweet daughtet. She saved my son Sumit from a dog. "Fatty's mom replied.

They both sat together and chatted with each other during the whole wedding while Sumit and I were just sitting beside them doing nothing but listening to their conversation silently.

They were best friends during their college days. They even were rommates but they lost touch gradually.

Finally the wedding ended and the golden time for me to return back to my home came. My mom bid farewell to aunt Smita and I greeted her. "Sumit, Greet your aunty Anita and your sister Anshika. " Aunt Swati ordered Sumit.

"Sister? "

"Sister? "

We both replied in unison.

"Yes sister. Your aunt Anita and I are like sisters. So you become her brother. " Aunt Swati explained him gently.

I honestly loved the idea of being like someone's sister - but not of Fatty's. I had no choice so I just smiled at Aunty's reply.

"Goodbye Anshika - my so called sister" Fatty said annoyingly.

I know he doesn't likes the idea of me being his 'sister' even for formality - because of the samosa incident. But if he called me sister. It means he is my Brother by name.
