The world of Solara is commanded by both Mana and Aura gifted to this world, by the sun goddess herself; Celestia. She who brought life and prosperity to this world, and the life it inhabits. Was brought to danger by the all devouring darkness that dares to consume life itself, a mere parasites that crawls and wiggle its way to the light.
They were Demons, born from the darkness within the vast universe. Physically formed by the desires of humanity itself, powerful beings that Varys in size and strength. But undeniably more powerful than the average human, that's where the power of Mana and Aura comes in.
The gifts that the goddess gave to humanity gave them a fighting chance, alongside creating new life forms to aid in both humanity's survival and creation itself.
Elf's were the closest to mana itself as their sensitivity made using Elemental magic with ease, alongside having long life spans that can cover 1000 years.
Dragons were mighty beings that one said, could be the might of the goddess herself. Large muscular armored scaled bodies, powerful reptile wings and long sharp tails, could wield both forms of Mana and Aura, and strong resistance to most physical and magical damage. Could wipe out entire kingdoms all by themselves, and just like the elves they have a long lifespan. If not even longer due to how aging slows down once they reach maturity. And the funny thing about dragons, their raw strength comes from age. Which can further be hone by training, but then again dragons are just an unfair existence itself.
The next were Dwarves, midget humanoid beings that strives in blacksmiting and weapon creationism. Can age over to 150+ years old, are very wise when it comes to weapons or a new creation of a weapons itself. The primary dealer between the elves and humans, who are seeking to a wield a weapon.
Spirits are magical entries that have no physical form, that co-exist within the world of Solara and in a separate dimension where most of the stronger Spirits lived in. They after the dragons are the closest to the goddess herself, due to the abundance of Mana and Aura they wield within themselves.
While varies, can mostly be hurt by magical attacks depending on the spirit itself.
Demi-Humans are both humanoid creatures that features with some Animal parts, have greater 5 senses and Stronger bodies. And have a rare special trait that only belongs to them, they could shapeshift to any animal that They are connected to. Which has their strength usually triple or multiply ten times the amount, compare when they are in their base form.
And humans, the most promising out of the other 6 races. What differs from them the most, is that the potential within the humans are far more greater and potent if given time to grow. Where some can rival dragons or the spirits itself, or some can be as smart and crafty in creation like the dwarves, could be as sensitive and cunning with Mana itself, or daring and feisty as the Demi-humans.
The last would be animals ( imaginary or whatever, don't really need to go into detail about this do I?. )
Demons are like I said, beings born from darkness and physically form by desires from humans and the likes thoughts, emotions, and feelings. Intelligence varies depending how strong the demons are, as most could be just mindless blood thirsty creatures. Or very cunning and powerful within their own race, and as such lays a Hierarchy between demons and the other 5 races.
The strongest to the bottom;
Mythical demons: Demons that can override common sense, are more complex to understand. These are what you can call leaders of hell itself, while very few in numbers. Are walking calamities, no they are the calamities itself as they bring bloodshed and destruction whenever they appear. Can go toe to toe with dragons, and scare even the mightiest of Spirits.
Primal demons: Demons that are born from the seven sins. Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wraith, and sloth. These powerful demons are very powerful and cunning in both intelligence and strategy, which very but nun the less are very strong demons. They are basically the dukes of demon kind.
Elder Demons: Demons that strives on desire and emotion, physically form into what the other races feel or deems ether dangerous or powerful. Are the third rarest to be seen, but once they appear. Be careful of the people you surround with, as sometimes Allies can turn into enemies.
Kaiju Demons: Large creatures that shakes the earth whenever you go, are physically the strongest after the Primal demons. But has a less resistance when it comes to Magic, does vary in size sometimes and are mostly mindless. And submits to those that are stronger then them.
Weaker demons or just the normal of their kind: They are what you can call average in ever sense of the word, stronger then the average human. But weaker than the above average human, usually strive in numbers which makes them difficult to fully kill if by yourself. They mostly strive on negative emotions and is completely driven to it, and yes they eat human or any flesh of any kind.
These are what the demons rank themselves by, and what few of the most strongest people know. Since the world goes by the star-system, so on the average goes by that.
The 10th star is the strongest ( Which is similar to mythical demons )
9th star ( what the primal demons are, does very between people. So those can be in the 9th star rank, but can be weaker within another in the rank itself. By technique, age, experience, etc )
8th star ( Elder demons range, samething about the explanation from above )
7th star ( Kaiju Demons )
6th star - 1 star ( all could kill any weaker demon, but between the 1-3 star range will struggle alot. Where 4th-5th stars will have minor difficulty, while the 6th could kill few at the same time with ease)
Now that's the ranks system, the explanation about the races, and about the world are done.
Let's talk about Mana and Aura, and what's different between them. Both Mana and Aura are similar to each other being that they are energy itself, but the differences is that Mana is used to release that energy into magical attacks of any kind. Using all the elements as attacks like wind, fire, water, earth, etc. while Aura is kept within the physical body and used to further enhance that body to superhuman levels of strength, and is usually are for people that strive in martial arts, Swordsmanship, or just close combat in general.
Where Mana users ( Magicians) mostly stay in the back or in the air, raining down foes with magical attacks. But there is little secret….
While Mana and Aura are used for two different things, they are still the same energy. Imagine if one does both?….. well let's see…. In the story of the crimson swordsmen.
