The day itself seemed to weep that day, its tears fell, covering everything with its sadness. The night sky was swallowed by dark clouds, hiding the stars from view. A woman walked across the sadness, receiving the heavy tears of the sky as she walked with her umbrella, in her arms something covered seemed to wiggle slightly as if it was palpitating slowly.
The lights of the building, tried as they could, could completely break the gloomy atmosphere. The woman arrived at the door, a golden plaque adorned the wall next to it, 'Naruhata orphanage'. The woman kneeled on the stairs of the entrance, leaving something by its doorstep.
"Something like you shouldn't have been born" she whispered to her, she stood up looking at the rise and fall of its breathing.
She turned around for the last time and left quietly , her steps were light as if liberating from a burden from her shoulders. The night covered her retreat, the heavy rain asking her steps.
Back at the orphanage, a worker carefully opened the door, struggling to balance the heavy stacks of papers in her arms. Freezing at the sight of something small blocking her path she looked down at both sides of the sideway. She sighed, taking the papers back inside and coming back for the object itself. Raising it carefully, she slightly moved the cover of it.
"It seems we have a new baby" she caressed the cheek of the baby slightly but stopped when she felt some roughness " I see, so you're one of them… that makes sense" she sighed heavily, she winced a bit before withdrawing her hand.
Looking around the street again was only met with the sound of rain, no lights or steps seemed to come forward the darkness and loudness of the rain. she moved inside, closing the door roughly behind her.

"Come on Seicho-chan, go play with the others" the worker gave her a little push toward the playground.
Seicho hesitated, scanning the playground, kids ran around, laughing, chasing each other. Her eyes stopped as she found another girl, another girl similar to her. The girl played alone, scribbling something onto the ground with crayons scattered around her. She left the caretaker behind without thinking.
"Hiiii!" Seicho blurted out. "Whatcha drawing?"
The girl got startled slightly, looking up at Seicho with curious, kind eyes. For a moment, she just stared, scanning Seicho's face like she was solving a puzzle. Then she grinned.
"Ishii Kyoko" standing up and brushing off her hands. Then without hesitation, she grabbed Seicho's hand "Come on, let's draw together!"
Seicho blinked at the sudden tug, then let herself be pulled forward. "O-Okay… but I don't know how to draw very well"
Kyoko giggled. "Then I'll teach you!"
Seicho looked at the back of Kyoko as she was being pulled forward, her eyes stopped at the tail of the girl; its scaly features made it apparent what her quirk did. raising her head she found herself in a short table made for kids. Kyoko sat down quickly, placing her drawing on the table.
"Look, look Sei-chan" She pointed at her drawing beaming at Seicho.
The drawing itself depicted a grown up version of Kyoko, wearing a colorful mess of hero outfit, fighting some big bad villains. the over exaggerated smile on Kyoko's face, her seemingly strong figure seemed to almost jump out of the page. Seicho looked at Kyoko who seemed to bounce with excitement as she continued to color her masterpiece.
"what's that??" Seicho asked, tilting her head.
"It's me," she answered giggly, "I want to be a hero," she said proudly. "you should draw yourself too" she said, looking directly at Seicho's eyes.
Seicho looked down at her paper grabbing a crayon she struggled to start, looking unsure and glancing at Kyoko who was engrossed in her drawing. Placing the crayon on the paper she slowly started to build momentum, although crude her most important features were clear. Her pale face colored wildly by a white crayon, how some parts of her skin were rougher like bone grown out of her skin, made by her beautiful expertise of almost tearing the paper with the crayon.
Trying her best to draw her costume to come out as a mess of black and white lines and figures. Moving to the villain she was supposed to fight, she moved her eyes around the room again trying to get an idea of what she could be fighting against. At the corner of her eye she noticed a bright red thing moving, turning her head to the thing, she saw the TV light up with more red, or flames would be better said. The camera settled on the flaming nature of a big man, his face was as serious as ever, a permanent frown seemed to be permanently etched on his face.
'That looks like a villain' Seicho quickly thought.
She put all her ability to work as she grabbed a handful of bright colored crayons by dragging all the colors on the page creating a gory mess of a character laying defeated on the side of the page. Proud by her masterpiece she tilted her head up with smugness, Kyoko on the other side lightly glanced at the drawing of Seicho.
"W-Wow, Sei-chan, you're such an artist! I don't even have to show you anything!"
'Of course I'm such an artist' Seicho thought happily in return.
The sound of a bell interrupted them, the caretakers quickly rounded the kids up Seicho and Kyoko left their drawing on the table quickly running up together to the caretakers. as they left a worker came to the playground to clean up after the kids, with a tired sigh the worker made her way through the room. Her eyes pasted above the table where Seicho and Kyoko were drawing, she did a double take focusing on the drawing of Seicho. Even if it was incredibly crude and awfully drawn she still could make the important figures. Seicho in all her glory standing around what looks like blood, or something red, and what she thought was Endeavor lying dead on the corner of the page.
She gasped slightly as she grabbed the picture of the table, 'I guess their kind never does change' she thought grimly to herself.
The worker crumpled up the drawing with disdain as she glanced at the TV, Endeavor was just leaving the screen, the camera panned away, the worker's gaze also came back from the TV, she looked at the other drawing.
"Heh… I guess they can still dream" she said under her breath.

"Come on Sei-chan, let's play hero again!" Kyoko ran to the playground with Seicho in tow, "it's your turn to be the villain" she added cheekily.
"Booo, why am I always the villain?"
"That's not true I was the last time… even if it was for a little time" She said thinking a bit, "Either way, you make a good villain for my hero deeds" Kyoko added posing heroically, or so she thought to herself.
"Fineee… I'll be the villain. But then it's your turn!"
Seicho sighed and then prepped herself to make the best villain interpretation she could. taking a wide stance she started to walk heavily, she started roaring or kicking the ground making some dust jump into the air.
Jumping down from the jungle gym, Kyoko landed in front of Seicho "stop right there villain!" she said with her chest puffed out, standing with a proud stance.
"You won't stop me again hero" she said tauntingly, taking an upright stance with her hands outstretched to the sides.
Just as they were about to battle, they heard a loud sound, they both turned their heads in time to see a ball barreling towards them at high speeds. Behind the ball, in the distance two boys snickering and pointing towards them were clearly the perpetrators. Seicho's eyes widened as she used her arm to cover her head, just as she braced, a loud pop echoed on her ears.
Kyoko stood shocked, the two boys' faces churned with terror, a caretaker watching over the playground gasped as she covered her mouth. From Seicho's arm jagged and twisting spikes of bone sprouted, the pure randomness and goriness of the uneven bones which even buried slightly on the ground.
The remains of the ball laid atop the spouting bones. Seicho opened her eyes slowly, her eyes were tired, she gasped for air as she watched her quirk at work. Looking confused, her eyes darted around the playground before settling on her arm, blood… from the base of the bones traces of blood dripped through her arm and onto the floor below.

She stood frozen for a few seconds… then collapsed, as she did the spiky mess of bones retracted to her arm leaving a bony layer from where the bones came from. Kyoko was the first to run to her friend trying to lift her up. She looked around for a worker to come help, her eyes full of worry. overlooking her, a worker looked horrified at the scene.
"She's a monster" the worker said under her breath.

Seicho didn't understand… Why would she? First it was silent glances then hush whispers. Ever since the ball incident, her quirk has been acting up. More and more bone patches were growing on her skin. Every time she was about to get hit or fall, her quirk acted up on its own. But there was one person who didn't seem to change.
"Sei-chan look, I made a new drawing" a giggly girl fills her vision.
After jumping around a bit she finally settles down enough for Seicho to see the drawing. It's better than the last time she drew with her, but it was still ugly as hell. It depicted Kyoko and Seicho with happy exaggerated smiles and what seemed to be faceless families around both of them. It made sense, recently more and more families have come to the orphanage to see the children, although nobody was really adopted it still made the kids overjoyed every time the door opened.
Seicho smiled grinningly, 'at least you haven't been acting weird' she thought. "Wow, Kyo-chan, that's awesome!", she glanced at the faceless vague shapes holding hands, which somehow made the picture sadder.
The bell rang again. But this time, the caretakers looked uneasy, some fidgeting, others were stiff with forced calm. They lined up the kids in the hall by the entrance, but weirdly they were no older kids.
'This is weird' Seicho thought.
The doors to the orphanage busted open making the workers stand straighter than ever, their gazes were focus on the men now entering the building, one stood in front of the others and started talking to a worker, while the others seem to eye the children thoughtfully.
"O-Ok everyone today we are going to register your quirks, so please get in an orderly line and wait for you to be called for" one worker said nervously to the kids.
Seicho glanced at the worker, then at the men disappearing into a side room. They soon began calling the kids inside, one by one, other men stayed outside glancing over the kids but mostly stayed still silently. The rest of the children were pretty overjoyed to be able to have their quirk seen, some were already using them while waiting; be it more strength or something weird like gaining power with more confidence.
It didn't take much time for Seicho to get called over, as she walked in the room she felt the eyes of the other kids on the back of her head. The door closed slowly behind her, she raised her head to the man sitting behind a desk.
"Please explain your quirk and show it" the man said monotonously, as if he had repeated the same line over and over again, 'looks like another mutant, just another trash quirk' he thought.
Seicho squirmed slightly under his gaze as she slowly moved her arm up, she winced as the feeling of the bones sprouting off her arm made her uneasy. Bones started to sprout from her bone marks on her skin. Their jagged and rough nature were uncanny and how some seem to twist into themselves on their own did not help.
'This one may not be too bad' the man thought. He loudly wrote on his computer as he seemed to dissect every bit of Seicho's body and quirk, "so? explain your quirk" he said slightly annoyed.
"A-Ah, s-sorry" Seicho quietly responded, her arms coming close to her boy as she looked down, making herself smaller and smaller under the judgmental gaze of the man. "I can e-em control and grow bones from my body?" she said, unsure of what she said herself.
The man raised an eyebrow as he tiredly continued writing, he reclined on his chair as another man opened the door behind Seicho, "you may go… now please"
Seicho left as quickly as she could, trying to get as far away from the uncanny man as possible. She gathered with the rest of the registered kids to find Kyoko playing with some blocks on a table. Seicho moved towards Kyoko and practically threw herself onto her.
"W-wow, what happened Sei-chan?" Kyoko exclaimed as happy and full of energy as ever, she caught Seicho carefully as she rested her head on Kyoko's shoulder.
