As night fell, Kai called Nathan, who guided him to their meeting spot. Meanwhile, Ethan determined to maintain appearance, decided to join his family for dinner, faming normalcy to avoid raising any suspicion. He asked his father when the family would come visiting , shocking his dad with such sudden inquiry. He apologized and admitted his past mistake, showing a readiness to change. His father was happy unknown to him that it was all a game ti get his father's trust. He requested that the guards at the door be dismissed for the night, assuring them that he was fine. His request was granted and as his parents bud him good night, he felt a mix of relief and anticipation for the night ahead.
Nathan steadily helped Kai navigate the guards stationed outside the building, guiding him as he climbed up to Ethan's room window then running inside. When Kai reached the window, he knocked and this startled Ethan, who was overwhelmed with surprise and joy. He quickly opened the window as Kai climbed in and closing the window, he rushed and hugged kai tightly, tears streaming down his face as he expressed how much he missed Kai.
Kai tried to calm him down, worried that his voice might raise an alarm. Ethan shared his distressing situation , explaining how his father had taken his phone, forbidden him from going out and attending school, and was planning to marry him off to someone in two weeks.
