Part 1: Claws Against Blade
The canyon trembled as Kairo and the hunter collided again, their shockwaves shattering the crystalline terrain. Each of Kairo's strikes was met with precise counters—the hunter moved like they'd memorized draconic combat before Kairo was born.
"Pathetic," the hunter sneered as their blade grazed Kairo's ribs. Golden blood splattered the ground, sizzling like acid. "The Astral Dragons ruled dimensions, and this is their heir?"
Goku tried to intervene, but the stitched-together dragon corpse intercepted him with a roar. Vegeta cursed as his ki blasts phased through the hunter harmlessly.
"Their armor negates pure energy attacks!" Vegeta barked.
Kairo panted, his regeneration sealing the wound. Think. What did the dragon's memories show?
A flash—ancient warriors "biting" through void-armor.
Kairo's fangs gleamed.

Part 2: Fangs of the Primordial
He lunged, abandoning technique. The hunter's blade pierced his shoulder, but Kairo didn't slow. His jaws clamped onto their forearm, crushing through the void-cloak.
The hunter screamed—a raw, human sound.
Black blood gushed into Kairo's mouth. The taste triggered a tsunami of memories:
- A council of dragons, voting to seal their power away.
- The hunter—once human—receiving the first void-blade as a "gift."
- The slaughter. The betrayal.
Kairo recoiled, spitting out the blood. "You're... just a weapon. Someone else ordered the genocide."
The hunter clutched their arm, voice trembling with rage. "I am the Dragon Reaper! I am—"
A sonic boom cut them off as Beerus' staff smashed the hunter into the canyon wall.

Part 3: A God's Intervention
The Destroyer yawned, tail flicking. "Ugh. I sensed unauthorized reality tears."He eyed the twitching hunter. "Oh? A leftover from the Dragon Purge?"
Kairo's blood ran cold. "You knew about this?"
Beerus shrugged. "Not my problem. The dragons were getting too arrogant anyway."
Vegeta's ki flared. "You let a genocide happen?"
"I let balance happen, "Beerus corrected, before freezing. His ears twitched toward the sky. "...Whis? Why is he here?"
A shadow eclipsed the sun.
The stitched dragon exploded as a figure descended—wings of molten gold, eyes like dying stars.
The hunter whimpered.
"Father."

Part 4: The Last Pureblood
The new dragon's voice shook the planet. "You were to erase the evidence, child. Not *play* with it."
Kairo's instincts screamed. This was Zhaitan, the dragon from his visions—but alive. Whole.
And glaring at him with recognition.
"Ah. The failed heir." Zhaitan's claw flicked, and Kairo's body seized, his cells burning. "Let me correct that mistake."
Goku and Vegeta moved to help, but Whis held them back. "That's an Elder Dragon. You'll die."
Kairo's bones cracked as Zhaitan's power crushed him. His Dragon Ascendant form fractured—then surged brighter.
A voice echoed in his mind:
"Show him why they feared us."
---
Part 5: The Forbidden Evolution
Kairo's scream wasn't human or dragon—it was primal. Golden scales shattered, replaced by void-black armor. His tail stump regrew, lashing with spiked segments.
"Dragon... Eclipse."
Zhaitan actually stepped back. "Impossible. That form was—"
Kairo moved.
His claw tore through Zhaitan's chest before the god could react.
---
Part 6: The Cost of Power
The battlefield fell silent.
Zhaitan looked down at the hole in his torso, then laughed. "Fascinating! But child..."He grabbed Kairo's face. "You're still half-human."
A pulse of energy detonated Kairo's new form.
As consciousness faded, Kairo heard Whis murmur:
"Oh dear. The Dragon War just reignited."
