Their backstory 
        Ethan grew up with a religious family who regulated every part of his life including his choice of friends. This made him to be quiet and seemed almost mute until he was 18 years old and in his final year of high school, when he met Lucian.
      Lucian on the other hand was a merman who ran away from the sea because of hatred and constant maltreatment from his father and step siblings. Life on the surface (land) was easy for him because he had the power to control wealth and he looks were ethereal and alluring.
        He decided to attend school for fun and that was were he met Ethan . And between them it wasn't just a love story - it was a slow descent into obsession , one wave, one touch, one stolen breath at a time
