Chapter 1 - In a new world! (Ch:1)

The sound of rushing wind and the low hum of an engine filled my ears. My senses returned gradually, awareness creeping in like a slow-moving tide.

Rows of seats. Passengers. A bus.

That wasn't the part that unsettled me.

Office workers, elderly folks... and students. Their uniforms—red jackets paired with dull green pants for the boys, red button-up blazers and short white skirts for the girls—stood out immediately. Too short, honestly. Even as a guy, I had to admit they were pushing the limit.

I knew these uniforms.

Classroom of the Elite.

For a moment, I just sat there, staring. I had read fanfictions, plenty of them. But living inside one? That was different. This wasn't even the same bus AyanoGoatji Himtaka took.

I wasn't some genius strategist. In school, I was the type to score above average with minimal effort. But since God apparently decided I was too OP, He nerfed me by making it impossible for me to work hard. In sports? Slightly above average. Intelligence? Definitely below Horikita.

Could I even survive here?

I didn't know what year this was. What if I wasn't in Ayanokoji's timeline? And even if I was, which class was I in?

Class B seemed unlikely—too many extroverts. I wasn't bad at conversations, but large groups weren't my thing. Class C was possible. Class D? Preferable. I could sit back and watch Ayanokoji babysit the class while I coasted, If he was here of course, The chances were pretty high. I hadn't even considered Class A, I knew my limits afterall.

Then again... what was I supposed to do in this world?

I wasn't special. In a school filled with monsters, I was just some guy. I had mocked people like Horikita, Kanzaki, and even Yukimura before, but realistically? They were better than me.

I was screwed.

Then, before my thoughts could spiral further, a voice echoed in my head.

[Analyzing surroundings... Confirmed: You have been transported to Advanced Nurturing High School.]

I froze.

"Who—?"

[Designated AI assistant: X. Assigned to you. I will provide information, process requests, and assist in bodily functions as needed.]

AI? In my head?

'...What do you mean, 'assist in bodily functions'?'

[You are currently overwhelmed. Would you like me to regulate your heart rate and breathing?]

I opened my mouth to argue, but before I could, a strange calm washed over me. My heartbeat, which had been hammering in my chest seconds ago, slowed to a steady rhythm. My breathing evened out.

[Adjustment complete.]

Holy—

.

.

'Adjustment... complete?'

[Your body is now in an optimal state. Elevated heart rate and irregular breathing have been stabilized.]

Holy shit. This was real. This wasn't some random delusion.

'...Alright,' I thought. 'You said your name is X?'

[Correct. However, you may assign me a custom designation if preferred.]

I thought for a moment, Then a name emerged in my mind, 'Jarvis.'

[Acknowledged. New designation: Jarvis.]

That felt more natural. Now, priorities.

I reached for the bag beside me, I should have an ID.

I unzipped the bag, rummaging inside. Books, a notebook, a neatly packed pencil case... and there. A plastic card tucked inside a transparent sleeve. I pulled it out and flipped it over.

Name: Miyamizu Yukio

Year: 1st Year

Class: 1-D

Class D. I exhaled in relief. At least I wouldn't have to deal with Class C or Class B.

I turned the card over, hoping for more details, but it only held the basics.

I lifted my gaze and caught my reflection in the bus's tinted window.

White hair. Light blue eyes.

That wasn't me. So I was in someone else's body.

'...Jarvis, do I have any memories of this world?'

[No. You retain your original memories. All knowledge of this world is based on prior information, such as the Classroom of the Elite anime and any related content you have consumed.]

So I took over someone's body?

Not thinking about that, I instead focused on the voice in my head.

'...List your full functions.'

[Core Functions:]

Information Processing – Analyze, store, and retrieve any data provided.

Bodily Assistance – Adjust physical conditions, including heart rate, muscle tension, and stamina conservation.

Control Execution – Upon request, I can assume control of your body to perform tasks, such as training or basic actions.

Memory Retention – I retain all data, including any information you have forgotten, and can recall it upon request.

As I took in the information a lot of ideas started to form in my head, On how I could exploit this ability. 'So, if I tell you to train for an hour, I'd black out and wake up with it done?'

[Correct. However, you will retain the physical fatigue and muscle memory developed during the training session.]

That was insane. An autopilot mode for my body. If I played this right, I could train, memorize information, and optimize myself without wasting time.

This was just over powered.

.

.

I shifted my attention back to Jarvis.

'So, if you're an AI, how much knowledge do you actually have? Do you know what I know, or are you like some all-knowing ChatGPT from my previous world?'

[My knowledge is limited to what you know. I do not possess external data beyond what you have experienced or learned. However, I can analyze, store, and recall any new information you acquire.]

So, no instant access to infinite knowledge. Figures. But the ability to memorize and process data efficiently? That was still a cheat code in this world.

'So if I read something once, you can store it and bring it up whenever I need it?'

[Correct. I can provide instant recall of any stored data, summarize complex information, and analyze patterns for strategic applications.]

That... was way more useful than I expected. I could basically turn it into an all knowing system by practically feeding it data.

I leaned back, tapping my fingers against my knee. 'Alright, next question. Do you have any limitations?'

[I cannot generate new knowledge beyond what is provided. Additionally, while I can assist in bodily functions, I cannot override conscious decision-making without permission.]

Good. I wasn't about to turn into some AI-controlled puppet.

'And if I need you to shut up for a while?'

[Simply say 'mute,' and I will cease communication until you reactivate me.]

I nodded slightly.
