Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Royal Wedding Disaster

The entire nation eagerly watched the grand wedding between two of the largest real estate empires—"Royal Estates" and "Prem Real Estate." This wasn't just the union of two hearts; it was a business merger that could shake the corporate world.

The wedding preparations were in full swing. One of Delhi's most luxurious five-star hotels had been transformed into a royal palace. Media cameras flashed, reporters delivered live updates, and every major news outlet covered the event of the century. However, amidst the grandeur, the groom, Romi, stood before a mirror in his suite, questioning his fate.

Romi's Dilemma

Dressed in an expensive designer Dress, Romi stared at his reflection. His lips forced a smile, but his eyes betrayed his turmoil. Taking a deep breath, he muttered to himself—

"Am I doing the right thing? Should I really go through with this?"

He tried to convince himself with logic—

"Well, I'm 30 now. Marriage is inevitable. Business and family responsibilities come first."

Adjusting his tie, he exhaled deeply, attempting to calm his nerves. But deep inside, an unsettling feeling gnawed at him. He didn't love Preeti, and this wedding was nothing more than a corporate agreement.

The Bride's Escape Plan

Meanwhile, at the Prem Real Estate mansion, Preeti's parents, Prem Chaudhary and his wife, Lalita, were busy ensuring everything was perfect for their daughter's big day.

Lalita handed a bundle of cash to the makeup artist and smiled.

"Good job. You can leave now and take some rest."

The artist nodded and left. Preeti, adorned in a breathtaking bridal outfit, looked nothing short of a queen, draped in heavy jewelry and luxurious fabrics. However, her face lacked the glow of happiness.

She glanced at her mother and hesitantly spoke—

"Mom, I need to use the restroom."

Lalita nodded absentmindedly. "Alright, sweetheart. Be quick; the groom's party is about to arrive."

Preeti gave a small nod and walked away.

But she never returned.

Minutes passed. Then half an hour.

Lalita frowned. "Why is she taking so long?"

A maid knocked on the restroom door. No response.

"Madam, there's no sound from inside!"

Panic set in. Lalita rushed to get Prem Chaudhary. When the door was finally broken down, they were greeted by an empty bathroom. Only a pile of bridal clothes lay on the floor with a letter on top.

With trembling hands, Prem picked up the note and started reading.

Preeti's Letter

"Mom, Dad,

I'm sorry, but I can't go through with this marriage.

I love someone else—a woman. And I know your reputation will never allow me to be with her. But I refuse to destroy my own happiness to save your pride.

You care so much about your honor? Well, now it's your problem to deal with!"

The letter slipped from Prem Chaudhary's hands. Lalita clutched her head and collapsed onto the couch.

"What will we tell the guests?! The media is waiting outside!" she wailed.

Meanwhile, Romi's wedding procession had arrived. Seated on a decorated white horse, he silently prayed for the ceremony to end quickly. But as he reached the entrance, he sensed something was wrong.

His father noticed the distress on Prem's face and stepped forward.

"Brother, what's wrong? You look pale."

Prem swallowed hard. His entire empire, reputation, and years of business alliances were on the verge of collapse. If word got out that the bride had fled, their family name would be ruined.

And then, out of sheer desperation, an outrageous idea struck him.

He turned to Lalita and whispered—

"We have only one option left…"

Lalita blinked. "What do you mean?"

Prem leaned in. "Monty."

Lalita gasped. "You can't be serious! Our son Monty…?!"

Prem's eyes burned with determination. "Yes! Monty is Preeti's twin. They look exactly alike. If we dress him as the bride, no one will know the difference."

Lalita clutched his arm. "Have you lost your mind?! This is insane!"
