Tony, facing a gun, swiftly logged into his private account to initiate a money transfer.
Simultaneously, a discreet dialog box appeared at the bottom of his phone screen.
He glanced cautiously at Yang Xu, who seemed momentarily distracted. While executing the transfer, he rapidly typed:
"JARVIS! HELP!"
"Good evening, sir!"
"Is the party's ambiance overly enthusiastic? Do you require any medication?"
Jarvis's rapid and efficient response left Tony momentarily speechless.
He discreetly observed Yang Xu, who was verifying the remittance details, and heavily typed into the dialog box: "SOS!"
Upon receiving the distress signal, Jarvis immediately began processing.
Within thirty seconds, it discerned the situation.
"Understood, sir! Please remain calm. I have notified the company's security and relevant personnel."
Under Jarvis's control, Stark Industries' contracted security company mobilized.
Concurrently, all on-duty officers at the New York Police Department, including the chief, received the alert.
"What? Tony Stark has been kidnapped? At the Aman?"
"This isn't an April Fools' joke!"
Chief George Stacy, awakened from his slumber, was dismayed by the call.
"According to the information, the Aman Hotel's surveillance and police-linked alarms have been disabled."
"The hotel staff is missing, and the party attendees are presumably..."
Despite the incomplete sentence, the gravity of the situation was evident.
"Damn it! I'm en route!"
Chief George hung up, hastily dressed, and departed.
Under the influence of Stark Industries, all police officers, regardless of duty status, responded.
Amidst the piercing sirens, they converged on the Aman Hotel, even alerting the U.S. military.
As Yang Xu observed the "transfer successful" notification on his phone, he noticed the system displaying numerous messages:
"High-profile incident, earned 5 reputation points with George Stacy!"
"High-profile incident, earned 0.3 reputation points with Police Officer A!"
"High-profile incident, earned 0.5 reputation points with Soldier A!"
...
Yang Xu disregarded the system messages, addressed Tony, who was about to hand him the phone, and said, "Call the police!"
Tony, startled by the seemingly obvious request, swallowed and forced a smile:
"Excuse me? I'm not entirely clear on what you mean."
"I merely transferred funds using my phone. How could I contact the police? You've been observing me the entire time."
Yang Xu nonchalantly replied, "Jarvis, a weak artificial intelligence."
"Compared to strong AI with autonomous learning, this one, which only follows human commands, is a helpful assistant, correct?"
Tony, whose trump card was exposed, lost all composure and stated bluntly:
"News of my kidnapping has likely spread throughout New York. All police officers are inbound."
"I suggest you surrender to avoid bloodshed!"
At that moment, the whir of helicopter rotors resonated outside the terrace, and a bright searchlight illuminated Yang Xu.
Just as Tony believed the situation was resolved, Yang Xu swiftly rolled aside and took cover against the wall.
"Bang!"
A bullet hole appeared where he had just stood, a clear indication of a sniper's shot.
"It appears they're Stark Corporation employees. Police officers wouldn't be so direct!"
As Yang Xu predicted, a rope descended from the helicopter.
Five armed individuals rappelled down and secured Tony and Happy.
Observing the sniper's movements, Yang Xu opted not to engage, instead exiting the fourteenth-floor terrace.
He rapidly traversed the hotel corridors, bypassing unconscious waiters.
Yang Xu bypassed the elevator and proceeded to the fire escape.
After descending two floors, the corridor's motion-activated lights extinguished, and the green emergency lights activated.
"Power outage? Police or security company?"
He then noticed the tenth-floor fire door slowly opening.
Yang Xu charged forward as the door fully opened.
He kicked the individual opening the door, sending him crashing against the wall.
He then exited the stairwell, firing three shots towards the door's right side without pausing.
The armed guard on the right managed a scream before collapsing.
Ignoring the fallen individual, Yang Xu swiftly moved and rotated.
He then executed a vicious flying kick, striking the head of the individual he had previously kicked against the wall, who was attempting to rise.
The heavily struck individual collapsed again.
After neutralizing this threat, Yang Xu approached the wounded security guard and kicked him in the head, rendering him unconscious.
Without delay, he removed the clothing and equipment from an uninjured individual and donned them.
While changing, he noticed the inscription "BLACKWATER!" on the back of the clothing.
"Blackwater?"
"Stark Corporation certainly collaborates with the U.S. military!"
Having completed the disguise, a voice echoed in his headset: "Ninth floor, secure!"
Without hesitation, Yang Xu lowered his voice and replied, "Tenth floor, secure!"
He then returned to the fire escape, descending as rapidly as possible.
As the Blackwater operatives reported their numbers to the fourteenth floor, Yang Xu reached the hotel lobby.
At that moment, another order came through the headset: "All personnel, report your names by floor!"
"First floor, Wolves, first floor, Hounds!"
"Second floor..."
...
Anticipating exposure, Yang Xu activated the specially modified bomb concealed in the hotel room.
"Boom!"
A deafening explosion erupted upstairs, diverting the attention of all Blackwater personnel.
Ignoring the frantic shouts in the headset, Yang Xu accelerated towards the hotel entrance.
Three armed guards outside challenged him: "Who are you? Halt..."
Before they could finish, Yang Xu raised his rifle and opened fire.
Caught off guard, the guards were suppressed by the intense gunfire and sought cover.
The dense bullets were blocked by the wall. The three men established a crossfire.
