Even though Serena looked happy when Asher had cream on her back, now she was focused on thinking about how to get Asher to admit to the crime he had committed. Orlando did not provide all the evidence he had because he still held a grudge and he still doubted that Serena wanted revenge in the midst of her married life.
After watching Lariette's memory fragment this morning, Serena was increasingly curious about what Asher did at night and refused to have dinner with his wife. Moreover, Asher's appearance at that time was very suspicious. Was Asher carrying out an evil mission on someone else?
Her head was starting to hurt thinking about all these strange theories. Finally Serena decided she wanted to play online games on her cell phone before going to bed. It has become her habit to play games before sleeping to entertain herself who is stressed from living in hell.
The game played is Finding True Love. In this game, each player has a mission to find their true love in the midst of a war against the enemy. At first she was not interested in playing this game because no one was interested in talking to her.
However, there is one player who has always been her best friend. The player's name was Zerash. Actually, Serena is very curious about Zerash's real name. Because Zerash was always her friend to confide in every night.
Serena's schedule for playing with Zerash is ten o'clock in the evening. Even though they didn't make an appointment, Zerash always played games at ten o'clock in the evening. Is this what is called fate?
When she saw Zerash's status online, Serena immediately started a short chat with the player.
"I experienced something strange today."
"Did your future husband abuse you today?" In less than a minute, a message from Zerash appeared.
"No. But he suddenly really cared about me. He took the initiative to treat the scar on my back even though I never told him to."
"Doesn't that mean he's very romantic?"
Serena narrowed her eyes for a moment, then continued her conversation again. "Actually, I still don't really believe it. I heard from one of my acquaintances that my future husband is actually a criminal."
"Why do you trust your friend more than your future husband? If he is a criminal, why would he want to treat your wounds?"
What she thought was the same as what Zerash thought. If Asher was just using it, why would he be willing to buy various types of cream to remove the scars? Should she take Zerash's advice rather than Orlando's?
"I still don't trust him because he was really annoying a few days ago. He always doesn't give me a chance to talk, whereas when he does talk, he always speaks incoherently."
"That's a real man, Sera. A man doesn't talk much, but he always acts to make his woman happy."
Serena felt like she wanted to throw up the contents of her stomach imagining how sweet this cold and mysterious man who seduced her every time was. The current situation is more likely that she has to seduce Asher so that Asher wants to kiss her.
"Zerash, how do a man want to kiss his woman without having an accident?"
"You have to try everything you can to win your future husband's heart. You have to diligently cook his favorite food, help him, pay attention to him, watch movies together, and you can be his friend to confide in when he's in trouble. The easiest thing is that your hobbies must be the same, then this will make his heart melt faster."
Serena rolled her eyes while replying to Zerash's message. "Then the conclusion is that I have to love him sincerely so that he wants to kiss me?"
"I'm sure he will love you very much one day. You won't need me anymore either."
"I will still need you because you are my first friend."
Serena compared the way Zerash and Asher talked which were very different. Asher always spoke briefly, while Zerash always gave very detailed input that made Serena want to get to know him better. If Zerash in the real world was a real good guy and handsome, she would prefer to marry Zerash rather than Asher.
Every time she talked to Zerash, Serena could sleep soundly until she was carried away by dreams. Because the energy in her body was filled, she was determined to continue her mission to conquer Asher's heart.
Serena woke up earlier than usual. Seeing that the sun had not yet fully risen, Serena walked slowly towards the kitchen so as not to wake Asher. Even though Asher wanted to cook breakfast every day, she didn't want to let it happen because she was afraid that one day Asher would decide to poison her.
However, expectations differ from reality. Serena didn't expect that Asher had woken up earlier than her and was now cutting vegetables. Her eyes widened, then she walked quickly towards her fiancé.
"You were really awake earlier? Could it be that you weren't asleep?"
"I don't want to let my guests cook breakfast so early." Asher's gaze grinned at Serena. "Besides, I highly doubt you. You haven't cooked in a while."
Serena's lips pursed. "I haven't told you yet, you're already judging me! If I could cook, what would you do?"
Asher folded his arms. "You can only cook instant noodles, fried eggs, and rice. That can't be considered cooking."
"How do you know I can only cook those three?"
"You're always locked up in the attic. I'm sure the housekeeper in your old house wouldn't let you step into the kitchen." For a moment, Asher pushed Serena's back gently. "You'd better just watch first, don't bother me cooking!"
Serena put on a pitiful face as she raised her head right in front of Asher's eyes. "Then, let me just help you. I can help you get plates, pans and other cooking utensils."
"Then, get me the big bowl in the top cupboard."
Listening to Asher's orders, Serena immediately obeyed. Because she was small, she had to stand on tiptoe to be able to open the top cupboard door. However, she tried and still couldn't open the cupboard until her big toes started to ache.
Suddenly she felt her back pressed against her future husband's body. When she turned around, her lips were only a slight distance apart.
