It's been 3 weeks since Ran arrived at the forest to train.
Aside from minor magical beasts there is barely anything that harms in this forest.
"1997 1998 1999 2000"
Ran was training with his sword again. All he does is either meditate or swing his sword relentless for a whole day.
"It seems I have grown some muscles."
Ran says as he inspects his body. Indeed he has become quite bulky than he was 3 months ago.
However, His clothes were torn, his body was covered in sweat and his deep red eyes covered with dark circles.
After swinging the sword 2000 times he finally collapses on the ground.
"The technique I am learning requires more grip strength and stamina. I am still no ready."
He says to himself then closes his eyes to rest.....

He wakes up in a scream again. It's evening by now.
When he realizes it he immediately stands up to meditate.
'Fucking hell!! Why do I sleep so suddenly?'
He ponders while meditating.

'Great I can meditate for 30 minutes now. Even though it's painful I must endure to sharpen my concentration.'
Ran breaks his meditation to swing the sword again.
AFter swinging for like 3 hours he finally collapses.
THUD!
"I think this is the best I can go for now. On the good side, I broke my record and swung 2050 times."
He cleans his sweat filled body then moves out to hunt beasts and animals.
The power he got from the man really helped him ton. He is 4th star swordsman in such a short time. It's a matter of time when he will master the sword.
Feeling quite optimistic he heads deep into the forest. Although it's a bad idea he isn't really scared.
"Oh a giant scorpion!"
He exclaims when he sees a giant scorpoin roaming around.
A mid class magic beast that is extremely common in all parts of the world.
Many bloodrunes keep them as a pet in the training ground to train their hounds.
However, in the past Ran could not prove his worth when he lost to his mid tier beast.
*Sigh*
'You make me remember my bad memories.'
'I will make you my food today.'
He unsheathes his sword which was glowing blood red ready to devour and bath in the blood of it's prey.
Scorpion notices the malice and rushes to attack Ran immediately.
'You are full of openings.'
He uses 1st bloodrune techinique.
Before scorpion could realize it's tail was already gone.
ROARRR!
With extreme pain and anger it roars with high pitch. It's eyes glinting in murderous gaze.
'Now he cant use that annoying poison sting.'
When scorpion again rushes to attack Ran.
Since it had lost its primary weapon it used its head to crush Ran's body.
But Ran jumps on top of its head and cuts its thorax slicing its body in half. However, it didn't end just there.
Filled with blood lust Ran enjoys brutally takes out its never cord and licks it like a plaything. He laughs like a maniac and slashes the dead body piece by piece.
"HAHAHAHAHA DIE"
His laugh echoes throughout the forest and the animals turn their tails and run away.

Ynnefer is on her way to Skyford clan to meet her fiance. To hide her identity and avoid any suspicion she decided to travel alone wearing a robe that covers her entire body and face. But such curves could nit be hidden from her body.
Although it irritated her getting such vulgar attention from men she tried her best to ignore them.
'Forest route should be safest route as it will not only help me avoid ambush from rebels but also saves my time.'
She ponders as she takes the forest route to Skyford clan.
After walking for 2 hours or so aside from minor beasts she didn't have much trouble.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
She hears a loud laughing noise echoing from the forest.
'Who laughs like that?'
She ignores the noise and keeps moving forward. Since it's an echo it's difficult to pinpoint the source so she was ready to face them if she encountered them in the forest.
After walking a little more she see mass of corpses of death animals and beasts lying on the way. Such disgusting and bloody site makes her puke on the spot.
'Is the responsible person even human?'
She thinks while moving forward. I can't ignore such unsightly scene. Such montrosity in my own territory is terrible crime.
HAHAHAHAHA DIE DIE DIE DIE
She hears a loud noise coming from the forest. Since the source was near, it was easy to pinpoint the person. She stealthily hides on the bush and observes the man.
He was Ran. Blinded by blood lust he is killing every beasts here and there. He chases them strangles them, decapitates them, takes out their spinal cord and lick like it is some trophy.
"Such unpleasent behaviour. Stop you brute."
Ran finally gazes at the source of sound and laughs like a maniac.
HAHAHAHAHAHA
"If only it was for hunt I would allow it. But it seems you are some psychopath. i must eliminate you before you bring harm to my citizens."
Ran takes his stance. Just from supplying little mana his blood red sword glowed intensely.
*Sigh*
Ynnefer sighs and takes her fighting stance. Her body glowed fire as the heat warmed even the surrounding air.
"Icarus"
A creature was summoned from her magic. A human-eagle like creature emerged made entirely of fire.
She jump to ride the summon. After taking certain distance she throws barrage of fire arrows.
Ran grins and he sees barrage of arrows coming toward him. He parries every arrows coming and uses shadow rush.
"This guy!"
She got more wary of the young man and uses shield mana shield which was enhanced by fire.
CRACK!!!
Ran hits the shield and breaks a portion of it. Since he was unable to intercept her, she got an opportunity and teleports behind him. She unsummons her creature and puts her entire mana on her hand.
Ran suddenly felt threatened from behind but he avoid the attack no matter what.
Ynnefer casts a fire spell on her hand enhancing it's strength by 10 fold and...
CRACK!!
Ran's spinal cord broke from the intense punch as he flew 50 meters away from the impact.
Ynnefer looks at the guy who just collapsed due to injuries. Her poker face hides her dilemma within.
"Should I interrogate this bastard or just kill him. I am in a hurry so I must make a decision."
2 hours later.....
Ran wakes up in a daze and first thing he feels is intense pain in his back.
"FUCK!!"
He groans in pain.
"You woke up."
He hears a girl's voice and looks around. He finally realizes that he is on a horse like creature. Its body was burning with fire.
When he attempted to climb down in panic she spoke.
"Don't worry it won't burn those I don't want to burn."
"Okay? But why the fuck am I here?"
