Chapter 47 - Chapter-172 Admit

Jay-jay's POV

I remained silent. Keifer and the others could tell that I didn't want to talk for now.

They tried to take me to the hospital, but I refused. If the organizers found out what happened, it would cause chaos.

I wasn't even sure what the school would do about the incident. I was also worried that Cyrus' family might suddenly come after me.

I really hope not!

When we arrived at Camp Keneme—ugh, the name is so annoying—we headed straight to the hall. It was already past lunchtime, and none of us had eaten yet.

The place was empty since everyone else had already returned to the camping site.

"No more food?" Felix asked as he peeked into every pot.

There was a prepared meal for everyone, arranged on a long table. The students were supposed to line up and get their food.

But it seemed like everything was already gone.

"There's only some soup left, but we still have this," a staff member said, pointing to a few more pots.

I just sat there, watching the chaos unfold. Beside me, David was quietly eating.

"You really don't want to go to the hospital?" he asked.

I shook my head. "If I do, the organizers will find out, and it will cause trouble. The situation will just get worse. Let's just drop it."

He nodded, accepting my answer.

A tray of food was suddenly placed in front of me. It was Keifer. He looked serious.

"Eat." He ordered.

I looked at what he brought—some soup, a small portion of rice, a few pieces of bread, and a banana.

I looked more like a hospital patient at this point.

"I-I'm not hungry."

"If you won't eat, I'll take you to the hospital."

But I really wasn't in the mood to eat. On top of that, I wasn't feeling well from all the bruises I had gotten.

I sighed and pulled the tray closer. I forced myself to eat, even though every swallow felt like a knife stabbing into my insides.

Ouch!

As I ate, I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. That annoying King wouldn't stop staring at me.

What's his problem?!

Just then, Yuri arrived and sat on the bench across from me. He also had a tray, which he slammed down onto the table.

I glanced at David. He looked just as confused as I was while staring at the two of them.

Then he turned to me, forced a smile, and suddenly stood up with his tray.

Hey! Don't leave me here!

As soon as David left, the King took his seat beside me. He crossed his arms before leaning back.

"W-why?" I asked.

He took a deep breath before speaking. "You're no longer allowed to go out without someone by your side. From now on, someone has to accompany you wherever you go."

Huh?!

"Why? For what reason?" There was a hint of irritation in my voice.

I couldn't help it. This idiot was too much. On top of that, Yuri was staring at me like he completely agreed with what this guy was saying.

"Look at what happened to you! What if we hadn't come?! You could've been lying in a hospital bed by now!" he said angrily.

"I didn't know that would happen. No one at Holy Shi—Saints has ever dared to hurt me before." I explained, but it seemed like he wasn't buying it.

"No one?! Then what do you call what that Cyrus guy did to you?! Didn't he BEAT YOU UP?! HURT YOU?!"

"I didn't know he was going to do that to me!"

Damn it!

I didn't understand why I felt like crying just from explaining myself to them. They really took after Kuya Angelo—it was impossible to reason with them.

"I thought that Cyrus guy was in the hospital?" Yuri asked, shifting our attention to him.

"He was discharged weeks ago and was allowed to return to school." I replied.

"So you knew?!" Keifer asked angrily, his brows furrowed as he glared at me.

Uh-Oh!

I swallowed nervously. Why was he so mad? What did I even do to him?

"Y-yes… I was told—"

"And yet you didn't even let us accompany you!" he interrupted.

"Because I didn't—"

"Maybe you actually wanted to meet him?" Yuri cut in.

Keifer pressed his fingers against his temples and shut his eyes. I knew he was trying to keep his anger in check.

"W-what? How would that even happen? We don't even get along! And we have no way to contact each other!" I snapped at Yuri.

"Then why did you still go? Maybe you really wanted to see that Cyrus guy?!" Keifer said furiously.

What the hell?!

These two were giving me a headache. I couldn't take it anymore!

"Why would I even want to see—Wait a minute!" My eyes narrowed as I looked back and forth between them. "…Are you jealous?"

Yuri looked away, while the King glared at me.

"Yes!"

"No!"

They answered at the same time.

I was a little confused about who said 'No' and who said 'Yes.'

"You two are so confusing! What are you even mad about?!" I asked, frustrated.

"Isn't it obvious? We're angry because you got hurt, and we weren't there to protect you." Yuri explained calmly.

I understood that part. I made a mistake too. If only I had texted them earlier…

I looked at Keifer, waiting for his response. His brows were still furrowed as he stared at me.

"Tss." he scoffed.

Thanks for the clear answer.

My eyes narrowed even more. I probably looked Chinese at this point because of how hard I was squinting at him. Daomingzu! Sanchai!—oh wait, that's Taiwanese.

We stared at each other for a long time. The worst part? He was actually challenging me. Looks like I'd be staying Chinese for quite a while.

Nihaoma!

"Fine!" he snapped. "...I'm fvcking mad because of jealousy! What guy would be happy knowing that the girl he likes is meeting up with her ex?!"

I heard a few chuckles. I glanced at the nearby table where the Snakes were sitting—they were clearly watching us.

Oh, you guys are enjoying this, huh?

Keifer shot them a glare. "Tell me! You'd feel the same way, right?!"

Some of them scratched their heads and avoided his gaze.

"I would feel the same. I agree with Keifer." David said.

"I'd probably kill Grace's ex." Denzel added.

"Good thing Mica doesn't have an ex." Calix said.

"Keifer's right!" Rory chimed in.

"I'd skin the ex alive and bathe him in onions and garlic." Ci-N declared.

I slapped my forehead. They were only fueling this idiot's fire. Ugh, damn it!

"And then you have the nerve to ask if I feel jealous?! Come on, Jay! Have some awareness!" Keifer exclaimed.

I grimaced at his words. This guy was completely out of his mind.

"Idiot! What's there to be jealous of with Cyrus?!" I snapped.

"Tss."

"You guys are insane!" I shouted at both him and Yuri.

"Why am I included in this?" Yuri asked.

"Stop acting like you're not jealous!" Keifer yelled at him."...Oh, please! You were the one who suggested that we cripple Cyrus so he can't go near Jay-jay anymore!"

Yuri scratched the back of his head and gave me a sheepish smile, but it looked more like a grimace. I knew it! These two…

Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!

"There's nothing to be jealous about. So both of you, stop it!"

"Tss... I should've finished that Cyrus off." the King muttered, but it was obviously loud enough for me to hear.

"Tsk! I said stop it!"

"If I find out that you meet up with that guy again, I will lock you down in my house and bury Cyrus alive!" he threatened. The guys at the other table burst into laughter.

"It's better if we burn him alive." Yuri suggested.

Keifer seemed to like that idea, and suddenly, they were back on the same page again. I almost smiled at that. At least, despite everything, their friendship was still there.

But guilt was eating me up. This was my fault. They were divided because of me. I kept thinking—if I hadn't ended up in Section E, maybe things wouldn't have turned out like this.

"Keifer! Keifer!" Someone shouted.

We all stopped and turned toward the source of the voice. It was Edrix!

"What?!" The King asked, irritated.

"O-our s-supplies..." He took a deep breath. "...some of them are missing!"

"What?!" We all asked, practically shouting in unison.

"The cooler is gone, the box of canned goods is missing, and even the sack of rice is gone too." Edrix explained.

What the hell? Were we robbed? Shit! What are we supposed to eat now?!

The school only provides breakfast and lunch, but for Section E, they only cover lunch—and even then, it's just leftovers.

That's why we all chipped in the other day to buy food, and now it's gone. Unbelievable!

The others immediately stood up and rushed out. I forced myself to stand as well. Luckily, Ci-N quickly came over to help me walk.

By the time we got to our campsite, the others had already arrived. We were the last ones there since I was slow.

Our things were in disarray. Some tents were damaged, while others were left open. And sure enough, our supplies were missing—the cooler with food and drinks, the box filled with canned goods, and the large pail that contained a whole sack of rice.

"My tent!" Ci yelled, running towards his wrecked tent. "...Damn it!"

I looked at mine and saw that it was left open. I carefully walked over to check inside. I almost lost my balance just peeking in.

It seemed like no one touched my bag, but something was missing.

"My Snorlax!" I shouted.

"Fvcking shit! We were really robbed! And to make it worse, they even destroyed some of the tents!" Keifer said angrily.

"But who would do this?!" Kit asked worriedly.

"Let's report this to the organizer!" David suggested.

"That's a good idea." Yuri agreed.

The others were about to leave to find the organizer, but they stopped when Josh raised his hand, holding a floral handkerchief.

"Does this belong to any of you?" he asked.

Everyone turned to look at me. Right—I was the only girl here who could possibly own a floral handkerchief.

But I don't even like floral designs.

"No..." I answered.

Josh inspected the handkerchief more closely and unfolded part of it.

"John... Rose." He read the embroidered name aloud. "...Who's this?"

"Is it a guy?" Felix asked.

"Probably a girl." Calix replied.

"Wait! Johnrose? That's Adier!" Blaster suddenly said, making all of us look at him. "...He's from Section B! He was my classmate!"

Section B?!

How did a Section B student's handkerchief end up here? We all exchanged glances as an idea formed in our heads.

"Where's Section B's campsite?" Mayo asked.

"It's on the other side. We're the only section that got separated from the rest." Drew answered.

Shit!

"What the hell?! Section B stole from us?!" I asked angrily.

"Looks like it." Eren responded.

Damn it! Why would they do this?! And to make it worse, they even took my Snorlax. That was a gift!

A gift from Percy.

"We have to get our stuff back!" Felix shouted.

I agreed with him. I needed to get Snorlax back... along with the food!
