A small town in the outskirts of the city of Reetna, one of the major cities in the empire.
This Town name is Lariksia, it used to house a large number of people mainly farmers and Magic Knights but after the clan of Tokna has fallen many have left this town in search for better conditions of living.
But its livily again because the Royal Academy has announced the test to accept students will begin in a few days so people came here from far places to go to the academy branch in Reetna city. They have take the safe road that passes through this small town, because other roads are filled with monsters and bandits that are not cleared by the imperial army so the town is bustling with people and the small inn is filled to the brim.
A handsome young man who just entered the town getting the attention of many while he is walking alone confidently.
His name is Raiden Fidel…
"Why is everyone staring at me?"
He thought as he walked slowly through the streets of the small town
He is the son of the last sword saint.
Miller Fidel, The name that shook the entire continent 10 years ago.
He is also the last surviving member of the Fidel house, also know as The Sword Guardian.
"I would have worn my mask if had known they couldn't handle my handsome face "
He thought smugly. But what was drawing attention wasn't his face at all, but the huge black sowrd he was carrying behind his back. Its the same sword used by the Black knights. The strongest squad under the command of the Emperor of Syphon.
A little girl stood infront of him suddenly and said "uncle doesn't your back hurt you when you carry this huge sword?" While her big eyes stared at him
He suddenly had a realization and said "do I look that old ?" As he grabbed the sword and put it in his storage ring, everyone was amazed as storage rings were very rare and expensive "he must be a high ranking officer in the military" they thought as they didn't dare to think about robbing him except a man hiding in an ally and his eyes sparkled when he thought about the high price he could get if he stole the storage ring.
Raiden patted the girls head and kept walking towards the inn.
As he approached the 3 floors wooden building that had some decoration on it. He looked at the blue double door
in front of him as he heard some ruckus inside he pushed the door open and went inside.
Inside the was mnay round wooden table and wooden chairs as well as a bar to serve beer
The ruckus came from the center.
A red haired girl wearing tight leather pants and metal plates on her knees and leather armor was arguing with skinny bald man who has many tattoos on his body wearing a set of leather armor.
"You stinking theif I saw you when you took the money from my pocket!!" She yelled
"Heyy dont try to frame me just because someone stole your petty coins, look at my face i am as innocent as a deer I cant even steal candy let alone money"
He yelled back.
Everyone broke in laughter as they heard him. He looks more like a theif than theifs themselves how can he say he looks innocent with a straight face?
Raiden looked at them and decided to ignore them, he went straight to the beautiful lady on the counter which had a blonde hair and blue eyes and looked pleasantly surprised at his handsome face and said "Oh my, I guess you are for the Royal academy test. Are you a noble?" He ignored her comment and said "I need a room for tonight" he handed her a gold coin.
The ruckus behind him accelerated as the thug was punched in the face by the red haired girl and was thrown in the air and came flying towards the counter and was about to hit the inn lady as she screamed.
But Raiden cought him in the air just before he hit the counter.
Silence followed as Raiden turned around holding the unconscious man by the collar and saw the red haired girl looking at him with wide eyes as she said "I am really sorry but this theif got me really angry ar-"
Raiden cut here mid speech saying "its ok but he isn't the who stole your money, the real theif is sitting right there" as he pointed at a woman with black hair wearing normal adventuring cloths with small magic staff in her right arm sitting in the corner.
She got up when Raiden pointed at her.
She nervously said "why are you getting me in the middle of this?"
The Red haired girl was also surprised but she sensed that Raiden wasn't just some ordinary youngster since he can catch that man after she punched him.
She chose to listen to him as she looked at the weird woman at the corner
The woman spoke again saying "dont tell me you believed him,hmmph"
Raiden " she used illusion so thats why you thought it was this guy anyway the coins are in her pocket"
The woman was shocked that Raiden can see through her trick and immediately tried to run but the red haired girl immediately confronted her also punched her in the face and she lost consciousness.
She searched her pockets and found her stolen coin paoch in the lady pocket.
She looked at Raiden happily as she said
"Thank you, I was about to lose all my money because of her trick. But how did you know?"
Raiden smiled but didn't answer he dropped
The unconscious man on the floor and turned around
He took the room key from the surprised inn lady and she handed him 9 silver coins
He went up to his room without saying anything
Everyone was left in amazement especially the redhead since they how difficult it is to break illusions
Raiden entered his room, looked at the wooden bed and clean white sheets and to the left was the bathroom he went straight to the mirror he saw his dark hair and black eyes. Smooth skin and his toned and smooth muscles as he took his shirt off
His eyes blinked with some faint gold glow
Suddenly as he fell down in pain….
Fire..
everything was burning..
A huge monster was destroying everything around it and middle aged man with a long white hair was standing against it this monster is the Golden dragon. A disaster that hit the world and almost destroyed everything.
Raiden woke up and cursed this annoying nightmare.
His mana is too low so he fainted
The reason for his low mana is his recent ability
In this world you wake up your abilities after you train your body to hold more mana
But he was special.
He was born with many abnormal abilities…
He looked out the window and saw the sun shining he sighed..
It's probably 7 am I slept for 14 hours
This mana exhaustion isn't a joke
He focused and closed his eyes and stood straight and sent his will inside his magical core.

He was an absolute abomination, even though he is a swordsman he has a magical core which stores mana for magicians amd that allowed him to have more mana than any swordsman or a magical knight
"Still a bunch of question marks?" He doesn't have much time so he stopped thinking about it and decided to leave the inn and head for the city.
