Father William and Sister Anna just noticed Ava who was standing at a corner, listening to their conversation.
Father William walked to Anna, and when he got to her, he knelt down on one knee, "How are you doing little girl? What is your name?" Father William asked Ava in a soft and calm voice.
"My name is Ava." She replied in a little voice.
"Ave, what a beautiful name." Father William said. "Ava, can you tell me where Bryce and the boys went to?"
"I can't tell you where they went to. But I can show you." Ava replied slowly.
"Okay Ava, I will take you with me in my car and we will go find Bryce and his friends, is that okay with you?"
Ava nodded her head in agreement.
Father William stood up and held Ava by her hand. They went out of the orphanage and now they were in front of the car Father William came with.
"I can come with you father." Sister Anna suggested.
"It's fine, Ava and I will go and get Bryce and his friends. The orphanage needs you here." Father Bryce replied to her.
There was a way that Father William talked, it was calm and sometimes slow. It makes the person he was talking to feel very comfortable and free with him.
"Okay, we will be waiting here when you return with the boys." Sister Anna said.
Bryce, Carl, Austin and Tyler just entered the library. Just like everywhere in the mansion, the library was huge, it had a lot of shelves filled with different books.
"So we are in the library, our final stop in this mansion. Well so far nothing much to talk about in this mansion, except the fact that it's completely empty but it looks as if someone lives here." Bryce said to his camera.
The four of them looked around the library, going through the shelves and books.
Austin picked up a book from one of the shelves, "What language is this?" He asked.
"Yeah, all the books here are in languages we don't understand. It is a whole different language." Tyler said as he flipped over pages of a book he was holding.
"Well, this whole exploration is getting really pointless." Carl said.
Bryce listened to what they were saying but he was more focused on the library. He started to feel the pull again and this time it was stronger.
"Let's just keep on looking, something tells me that we will find something good." Bryce said as he held his camera up and kept on walking.
None of the books in the library were readable so the boys lost interest in them and so they just followed Bryce.
They got to a point that seemed like the center of the library, there was a table there and next to it was a chair. On top of the table was a candle that was lit and beside it was a book which was open.
"What is that?" Carl asked when he noticed the table and the chair.
"How is that candle lit?" Tyler was confused.
"Okay I give up, I think we should turn back now and leave this mansion." Austin said.
Bryce did not listen to what they said, and the fact that the table and chair was there with the candle lit did not bother him, because the pull was coming from the book that was on the table, all he wanted to do now was go to the book.
"Let's check that book out and then after that, we can leave this place, we are already here." Bryce said to his friends.
Bryce went to the table without waiting for his friends to say anything.
"C'mon Bryce, wait for us." Austin followed Bryce.
The rest of the boys had no choice but to follow Bryce to the table, hoping that it was the final thing they had to do in the mansion.
Now they were next to the table, and to their surprise the book that was open on the table was in a language they could understand, which was strange.
"So this is where we are now, this strange book, the only book that we can understand in this library." Bryce said to the camera.
"What does it say?" Tyler asked as he moved closer to the book.
Bryce stopped feeling the pull, but he started to feel something else, something uneasy. He started to feel as if someone was watching him and his friends.
Bryce started to look around with his camera that was still recording, while his friends were still on the book, they were trying to read what was in the book.
"In the beginning the two worlds were one, in the beginning there was only one world. But they were separated, and each was bound to itself." Austin, Tyler and Carl were reading the book simultaneously.
Bryce was still looking around, so he did not focus on what his friends were saying.
Finally, he saw something, it was at a far corner, hiding behind a door but its face and little of its body was out.
Bryce did not understand what he was seeing, the thing had a figure like a human, but its body was dark, and it just stared at Bryce giving a wild and creepy smile.
Bryce did not know what to think but he knew something was wrong, "Guys, do you see that?" He turned to his friend pointing at the figure.
His friends did not answer him, they just kept on reading what was in the book that was on the table. Then their eyes turned completely white, and it was as if they were no longer in control of their body.
Bryce turned back but the figure was no longer there, he looked around quickly but there was no sign of it. Then suddenly the ground started to shake.
"Guys, what's wrong, we need to leave now, we need to leave." Bryce tried to call his friends, but it was in vain, they were still reading the words in the book like robots.
"Now there shall be no separation, the worlds shall be one again as it was in the beginning." His friends chanted. "The world shall be one again as it was in the beginning." They continued.
Now Bryce was scared, he did not know what to do, but he knew that he could not just leave his friends and go out of the mansion.
The ground continued to shake and the books on the shelves started to fall off.
Bryce tried to push his friend away from the book, but they could not be moved, they were like stones pinned to the ground. He also tried closing the book, but it also could not move and then the words in the book started to move and change, it changed to a different language that he could not understand.
But his friends kept on reading the book in that language.
All of the sudden, his friend stopped chanting what was in the book, their eyes went back to normal, and they were now aware of themselves.
"What just happened?" Austin said in confusion.
"What did we just do?" I could not stop my mouth, I could not move." Carl said.
"I don't understand what is going on here, but we need to leave this mansion now!" Bryce yelled.
The ground was still shaking and it only got worse, cracks started to appear on the floor and the walls. Bryce quickly dropped his camera in his bag pack and started to run to the door that they used to enter the library.
"C'mon guys, we need to go now, this building is collapsing." Bryce yelled to his friends because they were still getting themselves.
They quickly joined Bryce to the door but then the shelves started to fall, blocking their path to the door.
They jumped over the shelves and kept on running to the door. But then the room started to move, it turned up and now it was as if they were running upwards.
Bryce reached the door and as soon as he left the library, he started to float and not just him, other things in the living room where floating, it was as if there was no gravity.
Tyler and Carl came out of the library but as Austin was about to come out, he was halfway through the door and it suddenly closed with a lot of force, tearing him into half.
Bryce, Carl and Tyler could not believe what they just say, they were so frightened and scared, Austin just died. But they could not stop moving, the building was closing in on itself.
It was hard to move because they were floating, but they managed to locate the hallway they used to come to the living room. Everything that was happening was not something they could explained, what was on their mind was to get out of mansion quickly.
Bryce got to the hallway and then he fell down to the floor, the gravity went back to normal, Carl joined Bryce in the hallway. Then they stopped to wait for Austin who was having a hard time getting to the hallway.
"C'mon Austin, get over here!!" Bryce yelled with tears in his eyes.
Carl was out of breath, he did not know what to say, everything was just too much for him.
