Naya: I don't want to talk about it. I'm going home. You should have fun.
Naya walked out of the party and hailed a cab. She got in, and as the car drove off, tears began to fall down her cheeks.
Driver: Ma'am, where are you going?
Naya: Just take me home.
Driver: Where is your house located?
Naya: Number 26, Great Weal Estate.
Driver: Okay.

At The Party
Nora walked straight to where Lucien was standing.
Nora: What did you say to her?
Lucien: Who?
Nora: If anything happens to her tonight, you'll pay.
Nora quickly turned and ran outside to look for Naya, but she couldn't find her. She tried calling, but the line wasn't going through. She called again and again, but it never connected.

Author's POV
Naya stepped out of the taxi and handed the driver the fare.
Driver: Just keep it. I think you really need it.
Naya (sniffing): Thank you, sir.
Still crying, she walked to her house, lifted the doormat, and found the spare key. She unlocked the door, stepped inside, and went straight to her room. She saw missed calls from Nora on her phone.
Suddenly, the phone began to ring.
Naya (picking up the call): Mom?
Mrs. Austin: Naya, your dad and I won't be coming back tonight. We'll be home by sunrise.
Naya: Okay, Mom.
Mrs. Austin: There's food in the refrigerator. Make sure you eat, alright?
Naya (sniffs): Okay, Mom.
Mrs. Austin: Are you crying?
Naya: No, Mom.
Mrs. Austin: Alright. Bye.
Naya: Bye.
She dropped her phone on the bedside table, sat on the bed, and began thinking about Lucien. Her heart felt heavy—and then the tears came again.
