Jack's POV
I was angry, nervous, and at the same time, I felt a little guilty in my heart as the car drove out of the streets.
Somehow, I felt I shouldn't have let her go without a word. I felt I should have opened the door for her. I was damn angry.
I had seen the screen of her phone earlier. I was about to check who sent the message when she quickly locked the screen back at the hotel, and now she did the same thing in the car, turning the phone off.
Something didn't feel right. She was clearly hiding something, maybe a boyfriend or someone else. I felt jealous, but more than that, something darker filled my heart.
It stripped me of my peace. Finally, I took out my phone to take my mind off the worries and thoughts. I wanted to call her. I wanted to send her a message.
