But if you want to undergo additional training to enhance your strength, you'll still need to invest a lot of resources. The financial support from the clan alone won't be enough.
Unless...
Uchiha Mingjing touched his eyes.
In the Uchiha clan, members who awaken the Sharingan are valued far more than those who don't.
Awakening the Sharingan signifies not only talent but also a bloodline pure enough to unleash the true potential of the clan's dojutsu.
"Forget it. Let's see how much these ryo are worth first."
Uchiha Mingjing looked at the scattered belongings inside several boxes and carefully counted them.
His parents had only been chunin, primarily taking on C-rank and B-rank missions. C-rank missions typically paid between 30,000 to 100,000 ryo, while B-rank missions ranged from 80,000 to 200,000 ryo.
However, the mission rewards weren't fully theirs—Konoha took its share, and the rest had to be split among teammates. Additionally, as full-time shinobi, his parents had to constantly replenish their ninja tools and invest in their training. After all the deductions, the final savings amounted to just over 700,000 ryo.
Aside from the money, the only truly valuable possessions were tucked away in a box hidden under the bed.
Inside were several ninjutsu scrolls.
Most contained standard Uchiha Fire Release techniques—C-rank jutsu like the Great Fireball Jutsu (Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu) and Phoenix Sage Fire Jutsu (Hōsenka no Jutsu). There was only one B-rank jutsu: the Dragon Fire Jutsu (Ryūka no Jutsu).
For an Uchiha with a Sharingan, even one with a single tomoe, learning C-rank Fire Release jutsu wasn't particularly challenging.
However, B-rank jutsu were different. They required mastery of both chakra nature transformation and shape transformation. Even if copied with the Sharingan, using them effectively without the proper chakra control would be difficult.
Besides the Fire Release techniques, there were scrolls on Uchiha shurikenjutsu—covering skills like the Windmill Triple Blades (Fūsha Sannin Dageki)—and the first part of Uchiha-style kenjutsu.
"These should be enough to train for a long time. Once my ninja rank increases or I earn military merit, I can request higher-level jutsu scrolls from the clan leader."
Uchiha Mingjing strategized in his mind.
These techniques would allow him to train up to at least the chunin level, similar to his parents.
As for financial support, if his Sharingan was revealed, he would undoubtedly attract attention within the clan. A ten-year-old Uchiha awakening the Sharingan was rare—such a prodigy would certainly receive full backing.

The Next Morning - 7:30 AM
Uchiha Mingjing, still a student at the Academy, yawned as he made his way through the Uchiha district. He greeted his clansmen out of habit while heading toward the Ninja Academy, his schoolbag slung over his shoulder.
He had stayed up late finishing homework.
The past weekend had been hectic—he had arrived in this world on Saturday night and spent all of Sunday organizing his belongings. Naturally, homework had been the last thing on his mind.
"Dingjing, morning!"
A girl with a black-backed puppy in her arms, face marked with Inuzuka clan war paint, waved at him.
"Morning..."
Mingjing responded weakly.
This was Inuzuka Claw, a fellow Academy student. Her grades were decent, though her real strength came from her Inuzuka lineage.
"Dingjing! Help me! I forgot to do my homework again. Let me copy yours—"
"Jingta, don't—"
Inuzuka Claw quickly grabbed the boy trying to borrow Mingjing's homework, casting a worried glance at Mingjing, who seemed exhausted. She then whispered something to the boy.
"Ah! What? Mingjing—"
"Shut up!"
Claw clamped her hand over Jingta's mouth before he could shout further. When she turned back, Uchiha Mingjing had already set his homework aside and rested his head on the desk, trying to catch up on sleep.
When their homeroom teacher, Kurono Ohfune, entered, he sighed slightly upon seeing Mingjing asleep. He motioned for the other students not to wake him.
"Let him rest," Kurono murmured. "Too much has happened to him in the past few days."
He then began the lesson.
Today's class was just a review of key concepts—things Uchiha Mingjing had already mastered. Given his circumstances, Kurono decided it was better to let him sleep.
This situation lasted until lunchtime.
Mingjing only woke up when hunger set in.
"I actually slept through the entire morning?"
He blinked in surprise.
But the Academy's desks… were surprisingly comfortable for naps.
By then, the students had already begun eating their packed lunches.
"Dammit..."
Mingjing patted his backpack.
In his morning daze, he had completely forgotten to bring his lunch!
Noticing this, Inuzuka Claw paused while feeding her ninken, Kuromaru.
"Dingjing!"
She suddenly called out.
"Huh? What is it?"
"My mom packed too much tempura this morning. I don't want to waste food, so could you help me finish it?"
"This…"
Before Mingjing could reply, Jingta, who was sitting nearby, smacked his desk again.
"Mingjing! I'm already full, but I still have an unopened snack. Here, take it! No food should go to waste!"
Jingta grinned as he handed over a small box of pastries.
"Thanks, Claw. Thanks, Jingta..."
Mingjing smiled and nodded.
"Hey, I'm going to be Hokage one day. Helping a comrade in need is just common sense!"
Jingta hopped onto his desk, striking a triumphant thumbs-up pose.
"Jingta, I advise you to be careful. Don't stand so high."
Claw sighed and rubbed her forehead. Even Kuromaru shook his head.
Mingjing watched the scene quietly, then chuckled.
It seemed that no matter which world he was in, there would always be both cruelty and kindness.
