Chapter 5 - Chapter 5

"Lieutenant Colonel Kertz, what kind of person is Mr. Admiral?"

Nami secretly glanced at Luo Ye with her eyes closed and turned her head to ask softly to the adjutant of the warship.

The lieutenant looked proud when he heard Nami's question.

"He's the youngest Admiral Marine has ever had, and he's on par with the other three Admirals."

"If nothing happens, aside from being a little more handsome, he's just like any ordinary person."

"Is that so…"

Nami murmured, looking at Luo Ye.

It seemed that way.

If you just look at him, he doesn't look like a Marine Admiral at all, just a handsome guy next door.

In Nami's view, how could a dignified Marine Admiral be so easy-going?

Even just because of her request, he genuinely wanted to help her take back Cocoyashi Village.

If Luo Ye knew what Nami was thinking, he would only tell her that she was overestimating him. Agreeing to go to Cocoyashi Village was simply to get rid of the scumbag, Mouse.

Cocoyashi Village.

With the arrival of the Arlong Pirates, no one in the village dared to walk freely.

The whole street was empty.

This made the arrival of Luo Ye and the others seem very abrupt.

"Where are those pirates? Take me there," Luo Ye said without hesitation.

Nami, slightly nervous, asked, "Are you alone?"

Luo Ye didn't take her question seriously.

If a mere group of pirates from East Blue still needed help, then Luo Ye wasn't worthy of being an Admiral.

Not receiving an answer, Nami, realizing her mistake, quietly led the way.

Nami had occasionally heard people talk about the Marine Admirals.

But none of the three legendary Admirals fit the description of the man next to her.

Still, Nami had no choice but to trust him. After all, she had seen his expression when he ordered the annihilation of the Bloody Hand Pirates.

When they reached the entrance to Arlong Park, Nami hesitated.

In her eyes, Arlong, the fish-man who had oppressed Cocoyashi Village for years, was an unbeatable monster.

She was nervous.

Luo Ye turned to her and understood her thoughts.

"Go in, there will no longer be the title of Arlong Pirates."

Nami looked at Luo Ye's face, noting that he wasn't joking at all.

With a determined expression, she gritted her teeth and entered.

Inside, Arlong and his crew, who had been laughing joyously, stopped as they saw Nami.

Arlong opened his mouth wide and laughed.

"Nami, when you come back now, did you have a big gain?"

Nami, sensing Luo Ye's presence behind her, suddenly felt much more at ease.

Her initial panic when seeing Arlong vanished.

"Arlong, you bastard, give us back Cocoyashi Village!"

What?

When had Nami gotten so bold?

The last time they met, she was always submissive, even afraid to raise her voice.

She was hoping to gather 100 million Berries to buy back the village, but Arlong never intended to return it.

"Hey, Nami, you damn woman, do you know that if it wasn't for your usefulness, I would've killed you long ago?"

Arlong's right-hand man, Kuroobi, slowly approached Nami and threatened her.

Nami looked at him, trembling.

Kuroobi glanced at Luo Ye behind her and snickered.

"What, is this guy the help you're looking for?"

"Nami, you stupid woman, do you think you can beat us powerful fish-men just by bringing someone here?"

Nami panicked at his words.

But before she could react, Luo Ye stepped forward.

"Don't dare to show off your power in East Blue after running away from New World. You are really something."

"What?!"

Kuroobi was instantly enraged.

"How dare you insult the Arlong Pirates, boy? I'll torture you to death!"

Luo Ye almost laughed.

Each of these East Blue pirates was more arrogant than the last.

He didn't know who gave them their confidence.

As for Arlong, he was originally one of the officers of the Sun Pirates, but after a disagreement with Jinbe, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, Arlong left for East Blue to expand his power secretly.

Luo Ye had a certain respect for the Sun Pirates' leader, Fisher Tiger, who had fought for the rights of fish-men. But Arlong, a man filled with hatred for humans, had gone too far.

Seeing Luo Ye's mocking smile, Kuroobi got even more enraged and tried to charge at him.

"Bang!"

Luo Ye didn't even bother to draw his sword. He simply kicked Kuroobi.

Kuroobi flew through the air and landed with no signs of life.

Luo Ye wasn't merciful to such a vicious character.

If Kuroobi could block that kick, then Luo Ye wouldn't be a bully in East Blue.

"Kuroobi!"

The rest of the merman crew screamed in shock as they saw their comrade's lifeless body.

Except for Arlong, the rest of the crew had nearly identical fighting abilities.

Kuroobi was dead, so wasn't the rest of them the same?

Arlong, furious, pulled out his massive saw blade and glared at Luo Ye.

"You bastard, how dare you hurt my crew?!"

"Everyone, attack together! Kill this guy!"

"Make him pay for Kuroobi!"

Hearing Arlong's orders, the pirates drew their weapons, but no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't even scratch Luo Ye.

"You are too noisy."

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The pirates who rushed at him were sent flying one by one.

Only Arlong, with his strong physical endurance, remained standing, though barely.

The others were already lifeless.

Arlong, struggling to get up, spit out a mouthful of blood, glaring at Luo Ye.

"Who the hell are you?!"

Luo Ye raised his foot and placed it on Arlong's head.

"I am the one who specializes in killing pirates like you."

"Stop!"
