Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Yep, Yep, Yep, That's How You Drink Coffee

March 7th was a quirky girl... and an energetic one too.

From the moment the others left until now, March 7th had been chatting with Tian An for half the day. Tian An was starting to feel a bit tired, yet March 7th showed no sign of flagging.

"Right? Right? This girl's photography skills are super strong! Once you're feeling better, I'll take you on a tour of our Astral Express."

"Astral Express... what's that?" Tian An used the skill card: Playing Dumb.

"You've asked the right person! The Astral Express is a relic said to be left behind by the legendary Trailblaze Aeon, Akivili. It's just a pity that after he departed, we've had to manage the train ourselves."

"The power of the Trailblaze is really strong, you know! It can travel through all sorts of harsh environments and even fight bad guys!"

When it came to story-related topics, March 7th would get very enthusiastic.

Speaking of power, Tian An still didn't know if the power within this body still existed. While Teacher Xiao Te's combat strength might not count for much here, back on Terra, she was incredibly powerful. As one of the Six Heroes, if she hadn't willingly sacrificed herself, she and her brother likely could have contended on many fronts.

Thinking about potentially meeting Herta and the others later, Tian An felt worried about this body.

I must protect Theresia's body!

The train moved swiftly through the starry sky. Star Rails appeared beneath the train's "body" and vanished immediately after it passed, leaving only a faint trace of the Trailblaze.

One star... two stars...

After March 7th left, Tian An started counting stars from her bed. But because the train moved too fast, every time she counted halfway, she had to start over.

Three stars.... "Strange, why does that star look so similar to its previous position...."

It felt like copy-pasting, the distinct feeling of a giant hand in a god's-eye view constantly clicking Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V.

Theresia's abilities... In a daze, Tian An remembered the abilities of this body.

"Stitching."

As the former Sarkaz Demon King's personal tailor, Theresia was not only skilled in mending but also possessed exceptional mastery over Originium Arts.

Her stitching arts could heal and support others. She could also use her proficient techniques to transform conjured Originium into other things, the most representative being that uniquely Theresia romantic field of flowers.

Her abilities could also affect others' minds, as demonstrated when she erased the Doctor's memories back then.

As the Demon King of Terra's Sarkaz, the beloved Highness of all, Theresia dedicated her life to the survival and future of the Sarkaz race. From a humble royal tailor to the universally adored Demon King, she experienced far too much in her lifetime.

She defended Kazdel against crisis after crisis, yet had to make sacrifices for the future, because reality was never something she alone could dictate.

Although Tian An paid relatively little attention to Terra's overall plot, she still remembered matters concerning Her Highness clearly. From the first time she blocked the coalition army of three nations, appearing before everyone's eyes, to her second sacrifice for the liberation of the Sarkaz souls and the future of the land, Tian An hadn't followed Terra's story since.

At most, she'd check out the little bunny's birthday skins (Hiss~ Slurp~).

Can't feel the presence of internal things... The Crown should have already been passed to the little bunny. Then the abilities... in a world without Originium... can they even work?

Tian An aimed her hand at her own abdomen, trying to gather power to heal this wound.

She didn't even know if this ability could heal herself right now.

After contemplating for a good while, there was no significant change in her hand, but Tian An could still feel a tiny bit of energy gathering in her palm for a moment.

Looks like the body is too weak.

Tian An placed both hands on her abdomen, mimicking one of the most representative poses from the game's artwork.

Then, she gently curled her lips.

If the Doctor were present right now, they would definitely say: Holy crap, Xiao Te!

Holy crap! My Highness!

Holy crap! My little sister!

Holy crap! My big sister!

Holy crap! My wife!

Drag the one who said "wife" out!

Making such movements and expressions is surprisingly tiring. I don't know how Her Highness Theresia managed it...

Tian An deflated, then thought back to her earlier idea.

Ever since she came to know this wonderful Demon King, Tian An had wanted to become someone like her. Now, the dream was right before her eyes. She had to consider if this was the only chance in this life.

....Well.... she might have already been reborn once, considering her original body was long gone, who knows where.

Meanwhile, in the train's parlor car, several people were gathered, discussing something.

"I think Miss Theresia must have had a similar experience to mine! Look, she looks so much like me!" March 7th spread her hands, speaking excitedly with a slightly exaggerated tone.

"March, you and she... don't really look alike, do you?" Dan Heng looked at her helplessly.

"But it's true, she does seem like she has quite a story," Dan Heng added after tucao-ing March 7th.

"See? Look, I'm someone with a story too!"

"No.... All those stories you made up about your own past don't really count as being 'someone with a story'."

"Aiya, Dan Heng, don't be such a killjoy," March 7th sat down on the sofa and started drinking juice.

"Her origins and experiences are yet to be determined. It's best we don't gossip behind her back here. That's not the style of our Express crew," Himeko put down the freshly brewed coffee, speaking in a calm tone.

"Right, Yang?"

"Hm? Ah, yes," Welt seemed to still be suffering the after-effects of staying up late, taking a long moment to respond from behind his glasses. No one knew what he was up to last night.

"So now, who wants to try the new coffee I brewed? This time, the flavor should be quite to your liking," Himeko changed the subject, lifting a coffee cup.

"Ahem... I still have a model I haven't put away properly, going back to my room first," Welt suddenly wasn't sleepy anymore. He stood up immediately and headed for the main door.

"Uncle Yang, the rooms are that way!" March 7th called out, reminding the directionally challenged Welt.

"Oh, oh, thank you," Receiving the reminder, Welt disappeared in a flash.

"Then you two...." Himeko smiled, looking at the two youngsters.

"March, we should go change Miss Theresia's bandages."

"Uh... right! Haha, bye Sister Himeko!" With that said, March dragged Dan Heng away.

Watching their retreating figures, Himeko wasn't annoyed, merely smiling as she put the cup down.

"These kids, sigh. Looks like I'll have to drink it myself."

Himeko picked up her own cup, but a glance aside caught sight of a "little bunny" sweeping the floor.

Noticing her gaze, the "little bunny" looked up.

"Do you need something from this train's Conductor, Pom?"
