Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: Dungeon End

‎[Dungeon Mission]

‎Objective: Kill all Goblins in the Forest

‎Goblins: 200 / 200

‎Hobgoblins: 40 / 100

‎Goblin Riders: 10 / 50

‎Goblin Knights: 0 / 10

‎Goblin King: 0 / 1

Now then… time to face the Goblin King.

As I moved deeper into the forest, their camp finally came into view. Just like I expected, they were ready.

The Hobgoblins stood at the front, forming a thick wall.

The Riders waited in the back, gripping their reins tightly.

And the Goblin Knights flanked the Goblin King, crouched low, ready to pounce.

The Goblin King glared at me—his murderous expression twisted with fury.

Heh.

A grin formed on my face.

Let's dance.

I sprinted straight toward the Hobgoblins, clashing head-on with five of them at once. They moved better than before—more cautious, more calculated.

Looks like they've learned their lesson.

But it wasn't enough.

I weaved through them, striking with precision—switching targets, leaving deep wounds. Just as the others began to surround me and the Riders prepared to charge, I ended it.

One by one, I beheaded the five in front of me, and as one tried to run, I kicked him square in the back, sending him flying.

Then, without hesitation, I leapt into the air—straight at the Riders.

Before they could react, I crashed down into their formation, throwing them into chaos. In a single motion, I cut down two of them.

Heh. Too easy.

Within minutes, another four fell to my blade.

Without their charge, they're nothing. Just mounted targets waiting to die.

Just then, the Goblin King stepped forward, and with him came the remaining Goblin Knights, charging straight at me like rabid hounds.

Tch. Let's go.

I dashed forward, meeting them head-on. One knight swung at me, but I parried cleanly, knocking his weapon aside. Using the opening, I drove my left fist straight into his chest—one punch.

His body crumpled instantly.

Told you. One punch is all I need.

Without waiting for the others to catch me, I backed off, weaving through the chaos and cutting down a few more Hobgoblins on the way. I took a quick glance at my mission status:

[Dungeon Mission]

Objective: Kill all Goblins in the Forest

Goblins: 200 / 200

Hobgoblins: 80 / 100

Goblin Riders: 31 / 50

Goblin Knights: 1 / 10

Goblin King: 0 / 1

The Hobgoblins were down to just 20%. The Riders were almost completely wiped out—thanks to my earlier ambush, I've also managed to kill one knight.

The Goblin King stared me down, those murderous eyes locked onto me like a beast ready to devour.

After a few more minutes of weaving through chaos, I kept dodging the Goblin King and the remaining Knights—slipping through their attacks like a ghost.

At the same time, I took out the last of the stragglers.

One by one, the rest of the goblins fell before my blade.

Now, only the King remains.

Hah… looks like it's almost done.

It hits me—I was arrogant.

Somewhere inside this world, I started thinking I was untouchable.

But this place… it beat that out of me.

And I won't forget it.

As I kept dodging the King's bloodthirsty swings and the last of the Knights' lunges, I made sure to finish off the rest.

Now?

It's over.

Just one last goblin.

I looked at the Goblin King, still raging, still hunting me down.

Alright then… let's end this.

I clashed blades with the Goblin King, his monstrous strength crashing against mine in a violent storm of steel and fury.

But it didn't take long.

With every strike, every parry, I made it clear—he was outmatched.

My sword danced with precision and power, a reflection of the control I had finally mastered inside this dungeon.

He swung with rage.

I moved with purpose.

Then—there it was.

An opening. A single moment.

I didn't hesitate.

My blade sliced clean through the air—

And in one swift strike, I decapitated the Goblin King.
