Chapter 34 - Curse of the Second Flaw

In front of the Ancient Boulder, Rashin and Spiren stood beside each other. Spiren knew that Rashin was checking his relics, and he patiently waited for him to finish.

However, the relics showed so many surprises, the amount of SP he gained, the change of his name, and finally the number of accumulated deaths. All of them were unbelievable, yet Rashin was able to pull himself to that point.

And the fact that he is standing on his feet without any problem tells one vital information... It was all thanks to Vitality!

After Rashin checked his main relics which only took a couple of seconds, he stared at the Ancient Boulder and questioned himself if he should focus on Durability or continue to progress in his hidden aspect?

while swimming in his thoughts, Spiren pulled him to the surface of awareness.

"Are you with me, Brother?!"

Rashin took a moment until he replied.

"Yea... yea, I'm with you."

"Good, I was asking you if you could come to my town?"

Rashin looked confused a bit. He didn't know that there were towns and villages in the first place.

"I will come with you later. Remember, That Assassin disturbed my sleep." Rashin wanted to go with Spiren but he doesn't have any power left in his body and needs to rest.

"Yea... Sure, no problem, Brother." Rashin walked away while waving his hand.

"See you later, White Blood."

"Yea, see you later, Rashin."

And they both took their leave.

Soon, Rashin entered the region of the enormous waterfalls and kept walking through. Spotting the wooden house from afar, Rashin reached his home but he didn't enter the house. Instead, He went under one of the smaller waterfall and sat below it's crushing water.

Rashin fell in a mix of relaxation and harmony, unaware of anything around him. Surprisingly, no purple particles emerged from the darkness... Rashin didn't even dive in his subconscious domain.

He wasn't training psychics... It was Vitality!

Vitality aspect was so complicated at first, Rashin didn't know even after countless nights and days of improving his psychic abilities he still couldn't figure it out. Coincidentally, he knew how to train it.

Rashin felt so much pressure falling on him but he didn't flinch. In fact, the Sacred Waterfalls are a vitality area multiplier.

[Sacred Waterfalls(1)]

[Vitality multiplier: 0.5 SP]

[Required Vitality SP: 1000 SP!]

Rashin was gaining 0.5 Vitality SP every time he sits under this waterfall, and he discovered that the whole Scared Waterfalls are all Vitality area multipliers but with different and much higher than this one he is currently at.

"Because of you, Vitality, I was able to scale up so much faster. I owe you one." Rashin praised the Vitality aspect as if it was an illusionary person standing in his line of sight, even if so many water droplets blurred his vision.

Actually, without Vitality along with Agility and the hidden aspect, Rashin would never have achieved 80K SP in just a month.

His progression started shifting once he got his hands on... Vitality...

Coming back in time, Specifically at the very beginning of the Second week. Rashin spent the last 5 days training only his psychics from the moment he wakes up to when he sleeps after sun set.

He was able to gain so many SPs. A total of 630 SP, The 600 came from the 10-minute reward obviously, and the rest 30 came from normal psychics. He used to train for 10 hours each day with one pause or two to saturate both Hunger and Thirst.

[Current SP: -999,238.64 SP]

Looking at his main relics, staring at them for a while to decide what he would do this day.

[-999K SP]

[Rashin]

[Deaths: 500]

His face tensed, and looked seriously irritated.

<1 day earlier>

The other day he finished it with the saturation of both Hunger and Thirst and suddenly before fully saturating their meters a new shimmering relics shone, Interrupting him in the process.

[Death, Third Milestone unsealed!]

[A new reward shall be granted!]

'Yeaaaaaaaaa!!! A new Enhancement!' He was over the moon, seeing that he will get a new a new aspect that will grant him faster progression. Gritting his teeth, He hoped for a great aspect so he could get himself out of this house as soon as possible.

Eventually, the relics answered his wait.

[Agility Enhancement achieved!]

[The reward has been served!]

His face became blank.

Empty!

'The hell with you, Shit trial of death?! Agility?!! Really?!! I can't even stand!!' He was on the roof of his irritation and no one could blame him, the reward was supposed to come later. Although, he wasn't in a good mood, The relics decided to make his mood even worse.

[The second death phase has been left behind!]

'Ah... Ah HELL NAHHHH!!!'

[A new Flaw shall curse you!]

'Great... SHIT!!!'

his mind was set in flames, Rashin was angry, so furious that if he was able to stand like normal humans, he would destroy that house first.

'Give it to me, I'm waiting... SHIT!!'

[The 10-minute quest has---]

[the 10-minute quest is evolving...]

'What?!!' Rashin saw with his own eyes the flaw getting paused in the middle and replaced with another relic. This was the first time he saw something like this.

[10-minute quest has been evolved!]

[1-hour quest has been unsealed!]

[The 1-hour quest has worsened!]

[The flaw has been served!]

'So it didn't pause for nothing! Good... good.' Rashin wanted to see the flaw right at this moment more than anything else.

"Status..." Instantly, the relics shone in front of him and he focused only on the death phases. And when his eyes fell on those relics, he fell in utter shock. It was something unbelievable yet it happened right in front of him.

A mix of pure sorrow and pure happiness, That was what Rashin felt.

[Death Phases]

[0/100 Deaths: SP/10-minute required (0.01 SP)]

[100/500 Deaths: SP/10-minute required (0.1 SP)]

[500/10K deaths: SP/1-hour required (2 SP)>>>Reward: 200 SP!]

"Huh?! Cough! Cough! Ha... Ha... Hahahahahahahaha."
