Behind those relics lies a reward after all... for a quest he didn't know it even existed.
A second later after staring at the relic of death meter, the relics changed or rather expanded, opening a few more relics that were new to his blurred vision.
Before he could even take a glance at the new relics, the reward relic interrupted him... and not only one.

'Psychic! What the-' For the second time in a row, the relics interrupted him again. The relics have yet to end showing themselves.

'What?! This body is a curse already!' After countless times of continuous self-slaughter, fear has finally started to gain control over his shattered mind.
Aside from this tiny feeling of fear, he felt something different within his corrupted mind. After the surges of power that came from his deaths, his physically corrupted body became more resilient, and not only that... he adapted to his corrupted state, but now, everything has changed.
His mind became less corrupted, making his thinking so much clearer and smoother... this time it was so high compared to his fragile fallen corpse.
Adapting to his shattered mind came with a benefit. He knew how to think and when to stop thinking, which made it better for him to think properly, taking his mind's capabilities in mind.

His mind was still corrupted, but with this enhancement, he could comprehend and grasp the hidden meaning behind the relics much better and even faster.
It felt like his mind corruption had been reduced by at least 20%.

'Wait, before those relics disappear...' Realizing that the relics were about to appear while he was thinking about the psychic enhancement, he immediately focused on the most important relic of them.
Without the massive push of the enhancement, he wouldn't be able to catch the relics on time.
Eventually, he was right in time as new relics hovered in front of his blurred eyes. He soon realized they were not variants of the relic he focused on. It was just some destined relics that had to appear at that moment.

His eyes widened, not because of fear, but that of shock! Soon, as expected, his spine had a shiver running through it whole, electrifying his fragile body. His fear had vanished and was replaced with utter shock.
'My best helper... is now harder to get. Hehe...' Unable to do anything at the moment, the shattered young man started smiling, his lips curled upwards and soon his smile turned into that of a smirk!
"He... He... Cough! Hehehe... Hehehaha... Cough! Hahahaha!"
The young man burst into some sort of a maniac laughter. His eyes blacked out and some of his precious liquid flowed from his mouth due to his coughing.
'This... This... Is so much... FUN!' Sanity has been murdered by him, leaving him in the region of insanity. A maniac having fun with pain and self-slaughtering!
His arm raised up high again. A hint at his pose to punch through the air once more.
He was ready for another session of self-murdering!
Not to mention that his body, his bed, his torn blanket, and even some of the floor were bathed in his own viscous red liquid and now he was ready to paint the room with more of his refined red blood.

The relic that holds the most mysteriousness out of all of the others. What could it be? Could the expansion answer his question? Well, it did... With a shiver running through his whole spine.
