"That was rather… exhausting. Can we not do that again?"
Tevoro asked, putting his hand on his back.
"Sure, all you have to do is fulfill your promise to the villagers. Hemwick said, the rest of the undead mobs burning up underneath the bright light of the sun.
"Brutal way to go out."
Tevoro pointed out, picking up some bones. He walked over to where he was cutting trees from the day before and looked back at the village before starting construction on his solution. He placed logs he collected as support for the wooden planks he crafted. He spent all day surrounding the village, making the height of the walls doubled of his. Hemwick would occasionally help during the day when he was not busy helping the villagers farm. The villagers would also take breaks from their jobs to look at what Tevoro was doing. It used up all the wood Tevoro collected, but at last, the first layer of the walls had been made, providing a decent blockade to prevent outside creatures from harming the villagers. Tevoro sighed as he walked through the new gated entrance of the village. Looking up, he was surrounded by villagers. Hemwick was the first to greet him.
"Hey uh, what's all this about?"
Tevoro asked confused.
"The villagers wanted to thank you for what you did, so they all gathered here to do so. They even left a bunch of gifts for you and me in Jerry's house."
As the two walked back to Jerry's house through the crowd of villagers, Tevoro ate some bread, hungry from all the work he had been doing. He and Hemwick were showered with gratitude as the marched their way to Jerry's house. Closing the door, Tevoro immediately lied in bed, falling asleep as soon as he closed his eyes. got into bed
Tevoro woke up to the light of the sun shining through his window. Slowly opening his eyes, he saw Quincy still sleeping, his hand on his stomach and snoring loudly through his mask. He glanced at the double chest next to his bed before rolling out and falling onto the hard wood floor.
"Ow."
He opened the chest and found an abundance of food, wood and even some armor and replacement tools. He reached in and pulled out some iron gear made by the local blacksmith. Tevoro held out the iron chest plate in front of him, sunlight reflecting off the shoulder instead of manually having to put it on, he equipped it by bringing it up to his torso. The once oversized chest plate had now adjusted to Tevoro's body, fitting him perfectly. Looking at his own reflection through the windows of Jerry's house, Tevoro equipped the rest of the iron armor set. First the helmet, next the leggings, then lastly the boots. Then he pulled an iron sword from the double chest.
"Wow, this looks cool!"
Tevoro marveled as he posed with the sword.
"Are you done yet...?"
Tevoro paused and looked back to see Hemwick staring at him as he sat up on his bed.
"Yeah, I think so."
Tevoro unequipped the armor, which returned to his hand as he took it off and placed it back in the double chest, embarrassed at what he got caught doing. He kept the sword in his inventory in case he needed it later.
