Chapter 51 - 51. The Unbeatable Dragon Fang

Tsukuyomi anxiously shouted, "Gates!"

Sougo asked, "Tsukuyomi, why did Gates try so hard to defeat Alien Dragon Fang?"

Tsukuyomi thought for a moment before responding, "Maybe it's because he can't forgive himself."

"Why?" Sougo didn't understand.

Tsukuyomi continued, "White Woz wanted to kill Shiroto Shinji in order to defeat Alien Dragon Fang."

"Gates acquiesced for a moment."

"Just think about it—there's no need for him to blame himself so much."

"He was probably influenced by you."

Tsukuyomi's voice softened, "If it were the old Gates, he might have believed that sacrifice was inevitable in order to defeat the enemy."

"But you're different, Sougo. No matter what, you want to save everyone—even if it costs your life."

"I think it was you who influenced Gates without even realizing it."

"Actually, I..." Sougo was about to speak when Tsukuyomi quickly stepped forward, looking at him with affection.

"It also affected me," she said softly. "I don't think you will become a vicious demon king."

She smiled, "Honestly, I'm not worried about the Day of Demons at all, because I believe you will never become Oma Zi-O!"

After saying this, she left.

At that moment, Sougo suddenly felt a sharp headache. In the mirror, a reflection of another version of himself appeared.

This mirror version of Sougo looked at him with disdain and said, "Hypocritical fool. You want to save everyone, do you?"

"I really do want to save everyone," Sougo replied seriously.

"You deliberately let Gates tell you how to defeat the alien knight, hoping to push him into action."

"No, I want to save Gates," Sougo insisted.

"You wanted to use the watch that can turn you into Oma Zi-O to save him before!" Mirror Sougo's eyes gleamed with sharpness. "You clearly used him as an excuse to become Oma Zi-O."

"No!" Sougo shouted in defiance.

"You're really hypocritical," Mirror Sougo laughed. "You speak of grand ideals, but your heart is as dark as night."

Sougo retorted, his voice rising in excitement, "No, that's not true!"

"No what?" Mirror Sougo sneered. "You want to become the vicious demon king."

Sougo felt the urge to reach for the watch in his pocket. The weight of it was unbearable.

"Admit it," Mirror Sougo said with a wicked laugh. "You are me."

Unable to respond, Sougo slumped to the ground in despair.

Meanwhile, Gates was locked in a fierce battle with Longya. He shot at Longya with his gun, but as he turned, Longya retaliated, bouncing back and knocking him against the wall.

At this moment, White Woz appeared, his voice cold and indifferent. "This guy is troublesome, and you're no different, Savior. You won't ask me for help while trying to defeat him yourself!"

With a commanding shout, White Woz called out, "Transform!"

"Projection, future moment."

"Kamen Rider, Woz!"

The audience watched in awe as White Woz transformed, and many thought to themselves, This is so cool! I can't think of anything better than this!

White Woz took the initiative, charging at Longya with great speed. He struck Longya again and again, forcing him back.

"Ninja," White Woz shouted, his voice filled with determination.

"Action!" He continued, with a grin, "Who am I? I'm a ninja!"

"Future ninja!"

White Woz then flew into the air and delivered a powerful kick straight to Longya's chest, sending him crashing to the ground.

The viewers couldn't contain their excitement.

"Wow, White Woz kicked Longya away so effortlessly! That was amazing!"

---

White Woz slowly rose into the air once more, holding a spear. He swung it with all his might, sending a terrifying spear of light shooting toward Longya.

But just as the attack struck, a mirror appeared before Longya.

The attack was instantly reflected back at White Woz, hitting him squarely. He fell to the ground with a loud crash.

White Woz sighed in frustration. "This guy is really troublesome!"

As the audience watched, they became more concerned. It was clear that Longya was powerful, and they couldn't help but feel helpless. Even though White Woz was incredibly strong, he was no match for Longya's defensive abilities.

Of course, this didn't mean that Longya was stronger than White Woz—it just meant that he was nearly invincible! Any attack launched against him was bound to be bounced back.

It was the ultimate defense, where any offensive action would end up harming the attacker more than the defender.

Meanwhile, Sougo was looking for Shiroto Shinji, who had once been Kamen Rider Ryuki. Shiroto's room was dimly lit, giving off a sense of deep depression. The air felt heavy, like something was about to break.

Inside, Shiroto Shinji sighed. "I didn't do anything," he muttered, lost in thought. After a long pause, he added, "Well, you can't say that."

"The version of me on the other side of the mirror turned into a monster and wreaked havoc."

Sougo pressed, "And he attacked all the former readers of Ore News."

"But why did he do that?"

Shiroto Shinji sighed again, "Maybe out of hatred. If those readers had always supported us, Ore News wouldn't have gone bankrupt."

Sougo was shocked. "Isn't this just taking out your anger on the readers?"

"Yes, I didn't show my hatred on the surface," Shiroto Shinji admitted. "But deep down, there are feelings I can't put into words."

"Maybe the version of me on the other side of the mirror is the real me!"

He let out a self-deprecating laugh. "I don't want to admit this, but if I don't, this issue can never be resolved. I'm stuck, unable to move forward."

"If I don't acknowledge this, the mirror won't reflect my true self, and it will always remain empty."

---

Sougo's encounter with Shiroto Shinji left him with a lot to think about. He had always tried to be a hero, saving everyone around him. Yet, now he found himself questioning whether his ideals were truly achievable, or if he was simply destined to fall into darkness, just like the version of himself in the mirror.

As the battles with Longya and his own inner demons raged on, Sougo was faced with a harsh reality: the path he walked might lead him to become the very thing he feared the most.

But deep down, he still believed that he could save everyone. Even if it cost him everything.
