All the beings in the three realms were a little surprised.
"Wow, Swartz is really bad!"
"Yes, Sougo isn't the king anymore, but he still doesn't let him go. It's really hateful!"
"I'm so angry, this guy is a piece of trash! I really want to slap him to death!"
"Me too! I just want to break his neck!"
"I'm different. I'd just make him my slave."
On the screen, Sougo came back alone. He looked around the room but noticed that Gates and the others were nowhere to be found.
He felt a little lost. It was as if his heart had become empty.
After all, they had been living with him for a while now. He had become so accustomed to their presence that it felt odd without them.
At that moment, Junichiro Tokiwa came out and saw Sougo. He was holding a clock in his hands.
"I'm back. Where did your friends go? I've fixed his clock," he said.
Sougo hesitated for a moment before replying, "Woz won't come here again."
Tokiwa Junichiro was very surprised. "Why? I finally fixed it."
Sougo hesitated again, his eyes becoming a little sad. "Gates and Tsukuyomi too…"
He was about to go upstairs when Junichiro asked, "What? They're not coming either? What happened?"
Tokiwa Junichiro felt disappointed, though he tried to hide it. If they didn't come, it would be much quieter in the house, but he was older and liked the lively atmosphere they brought.
Sougo paused at the foot of the stairs, his back turned. He looked a little lonely as he spoke quietly, "I don't want to be king anymore."
"Huh? Isn't that your dream? Why are you suddenly giving up on it?" Junichiro was very confused. It felt like a pity to him.
Sougo turned around and looked at his uncle. "Uncle, should I take the college entrance exam? What do you think?"
"I told you about this before!" Junichiro said, sitting down on the couch. "I once had the chance to realize my dream, but I missed it in the end."
Sougo nodded. "Yeah, I remember."
"Actually, I lied to you."
"Lie to me?"
Junichiro smiled as he sat down. "It's half true and half false," he said.
"Actually, my dream was to work in a famous watch shop abroad. Even though I gave up on that dream, now I'm still lucky to do watch repair work."
He continued, "Time, it seems to flow at the same speed for everyone, but in reality, it flows differently for each person."
Sougo listened attentively, as Junichiro went on. "Even if some people give up on their dreams, time will still move in that direction. And sometimes, it's not too late to try again."
Sougo muttered to himself, "Keep moving towards the dream?"
He couldn't help but think deeply about his own choices. Walking outside, he was still struggling.
"What should I do?" he said aloud, lost in thought.
Suddenly, a golden-armored knight appeared in front of him!
The knight threw a punch at Sougo. Fortunately, Sougo managed to dodge it just in time.
But then, time stopped.
Ur appeared, standing by with a smug look. "Are you scared? I used this to kill you," he said, holding a weapon.
The armored knight attacked Sougo again. This time, Sougo rolled down the stairs, barely escaping the blow.
"Stop it!" Sougo shouted as he scrambled to his feet. "I've given up on becoming the Demon King!"
At that moment, Woz appeared again, holding a plate in his hands. On the plate was a belt.
He spoke respectfully, "Your Majesty the Demon King, I am sorry to trouble you, but here is your spare belt."
Sougo remained unmoved. "I don't want to be the Demon King anymore!"
The armored knight threw another punch, knocking Sougo to the ground.
Woz shook his head, silently watching.
The audience of the three realms watched the scene in discomfort, sweating nervously. After all, without the belt, Sougo was just an ordinary person. He was vulnerable to anyone who wanted to hurt him.
They all wished that Sougo still had the power of a knight. If he did, he wouldn't be getting bullied like this.
Meanwhile, on the other side, Gates said through a magical device, "Go back to the original world."
A picture appeared on the device, showing Sougo being knocked to the ground.
Tsukuyomi, her face full of worry, said anxiously, "Gates, look! Sougo was just attacked by that guy!"
Gates' face changed, his eyes narrowing in concern. "What?!"
Back in the scene, Sougo was knocked down again. He was now completely powerless against the armored knight.
Woz reminded him from the side, "Your Majesty the Demon King, if this continues, you'll die! Take the belt!"
"I don't want it!" Sougo said firmly, shaking his head.
"Your Majesty the Demon King…"
Ur, sitting nearby, complained to Woz, "Didn't you say you'd help us? Don't interfere with other people's business. Just stay out of this!"
Woz remained calm, responding, "I'm just following the instructions in the book. It's you who shouldn't be meddling in others' affairs!"
"Really? But it's almost over!" Ur said, rolling his eyes.
The armored knight was about to use a powerful attack on Sougo when Gates arrived just in time.
Seeing that Sougo was in danger, Gates rushed to intervene. "Get out of the way!" he shouted, quickly assessing the situation.
Sougo was an ordinary person now. How could he possibly withstand such a powerful attack?
But Sougo didn't move.
There was a child sitting behind him, crying.
If Sougo ran to save himself, the attack would definitely hit the child.
Sougo couldn't let that happen. He wasn't willing to let anyone get hurt because of him.
In a flash of desperation, Gates threw an iron plate at the armored knight to deflect the blow.
The armored knight's attack collided with the iron plate, blocking its impact.
Tsukuyomi, seeing the crying child, finally understood. "So that's why Sougo didn't move. He was trying to protect the child."
At that moment, Gates was also filled with anger. His eyes narrowed as he shouted, "Transform!"
He quickly transformed into his Kamen Rider form and fought against the armored knight.
Sougo, seeing Gates back on his feet, felt a rush of relief and joy. He smiled, his spirits lifting. "Gates, didn't you return to your own time and space?"
Gates shouted back, "After I defeat this guy, I'll leave!"
Not far away, Aura and Kazushi Kadoya were walking toward the scene. Kazushi, standing over 1.8 meters tall, had a strong presence as he walked.
Surprised, he asked, "I thought everything was over. Why is it so lively?"
Then he turned to Aura, asking, "Which side should I stand on?"
