Chapter 4 - Chapter4 - Devlopment

The following day, Rohan carefully selected seven individuals and sent them to His Majesty. He had known these men for a long time and was certain of their unwavering loyalty to Anthony. Each of them had proven their dedication time and time again, and Rohan had no doubt that they would serve faithfully, no matter what.

Beyond these seven, however, he couldn't bring himself to trust the rest of the soldiers. They were merely following orders, performing their duties without any true allegiance to Anthony. They were soldiers, nothing more—trained to protect, but lacking the deep-rooted loyalty needed for what was to come.

Rohan understood the weight of this power. It wasn't something to be handed out carelessly. If given to the wrong person, it could lead to disaster. That's why he chose to be cautious, selecting only those he was absolutely sure of. He wasn't just protecting His Majesty's safety; he was ensuring that the process of granting supernatural power would go smoothly, without any risks or hidden threats.

As he watched the seven men make their way to the palace, he felt a sense of satisfaction. This was just the beginning. With their newfound abilities, these soldiers would become stronger, and in turn, they would make Anthony stronger. One step at a time, they were building a force that could change everything.

All seven individuals successfully integrated with the seed of supernatural power, each awakening a unique ability. Among them, one particularly fortunate man named Aditya discovered he had gained the power of Shapeshifting —a rare and invaluable skill for infiltration and assassination. Anthony recognized the potential of this ability immediately, knowing it would be incredibly useful in the future. He made a mental note to keep a close eye on Aditya, ensuring his talent was put to the best use.

The rest of the group awakened different abilities, some more unusual than others. One of them gained the power of Monkeyfication, allowing him to transform into apes. While it might have seemed odd at first, Anthony knew that enhanced agility, strength, and instincts would make them formidable in battle.

Another soldier developed an Iron Body, his flesh becoming as tough as steel, making him nearly impervious to normal attacks. The remaining four each manifested their own distinct abilities, though some were still exploring the full extent of their newfound strengths.

As Anthony observed his newly empowered followers, a sense of satisfaction washed over him. This was just the beginning—each of them would play a crucial role in shaping the future. With such diverse and powerful abilities at his command, his influence would only grow stronger. The pieces were falling into place, and soon, he would be ready to take the next step.

Anthony made a groundbreaking discovery—he could tap into the powers of those he had granted supernatural abilities. This realization filled him with excitement and a newfound sense of confidence. It meant that as his followers grew stronger, so would he. The thought of never being weak again stirred something deep inside him—a hunger for power and dominance.

Eager to test this ability, he first activated Shapeshifting, taking on Rohan's form. Looking into the mirror, he saw Rohan staring back at him—his voice, stature, and even the smallest details were flawlessly replicated. Next, he used Iron Body, feeling his skin harden into an impenetrable shield. He picked up a sword and slashed at his arm, but the blade barely left a mark. The strength behind this power was astonishing.

One by one, he experimented with the abilities he had bestowed. Each time, he felt a rush of exhilaration. Nine individuals had been granted supernatural gifts, and through them, Anthony could wield a variety of powers. He wanted to grant even more, but there was a strict limitation—only those who were genuinely loyal to him could receive the gift. If their hearts wavered, the process would fail.

For now, he would wait. He would build his circle of trusted warriors carefully. With time, he would gather more loyal followers. In the following days, everyone focused intensely on developing their newfound abilities, making noticeable progress. Nancy's enhanced hearing became more refined—she could now pick up even the faintest whispers from up to 25 meters away, distinguishing conversations through walls and doors with remarkable clarity. It was overwhelming at first, but she learned to control it, tuning in and out of sounds at will. Rohan, determined to push his metal manipulation to new heights, could now lift and hold up to five kilograms of metal in the air. His control was becoming steadier, and with each passing day, the objects responded to his will more effortlessly.

Aditya's shapeshifting abilities were also improving rapidly. At first, he could only make small changes to his features, but now he could flawlessly mimic another person, altering not just his face but his entire body structure. He spent hours in front of a mirror, testing different transformations and ensuring he could revert back to his original form without errors. Each shift felt smoother, more natural, and the confidence in his power was growing.

Meanwhile, the man with the iron body trained relentlessly. Knowing that his ability was tied to his physical endurance, he pushed himself harder than ever—doing hundreds of push-ups, lifting heavy objects, and conditioning his body to take hits without flinching. The stronger he became, the more resilient his iron skin felt.

Anthony watched their progress closely, feeling both pride and anticipation. Their powers were still in their infancy, but with discipline and training, they would soon become formidable.
