After we drove outside for a few minutes, crashed into some zombies, we encountered trouble.
"The bridge... It's closed." Shizuka said, looking at the barrier blocking their way. She sighed. "We can't cross like this. There are too many vehicles in front of us, we can't even turn around."
Right, the bridge was closed.
Our bus couldn't cross the bridge with everything blocked. There was also a man-made wall on the bridge to block people from entering. And as a result, zombies gathered there.
"We can't use the bus anymore." Saeko said, looking out of the window, "I think it's better to go on foot from here on out."
I nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we should walk to Rika's house. It's not that far from here."
"Umm, okay! Let's get going!" Shizuka said, parking the bus near a building and turning off the engine. She got out of the bus and stretched her arms, causing her boobs to jiggle.

Saeko and I looked at her in surprise and then each other before nodding in agreement. We both knew what to do, and we wouldn't waste time.
I unsheathe my katana while Saeko prepared her wooden sword.
We stepped outside of the bus and began to clear a path for Shizuka.
There were quite a lot of zombies blocking our way. Thankfully, though, they weren't very fast.
"Take care of the two on the right. I'll take the others." I said to Saeko.
"Got it." She nodded, and we immediately separated. I took care of the ones on the left while she handled those on the right. We worked in sync, killing the zombies quickly without any problems. The zombies didn't even get a chance to attack us.
Soon enough, we cleared out all the zombies around the bus.
"Miss Shizuka, be careful." I said as we walked through the street, looking around carefully. "If you see a zombie, don't scream. We will take care of it quietly."
"Okay." She replied cheerfully, walking down the bus.
However, due to some miracle or something else in the work, she tripped on her skirt and fell on her face. Her panties were visible to us, but we didn't comment on that.
"...Um, are you alright, miss?" I asked.
"Y-Yes, I'm fine." She replied, getting up and dusting herself off.
Saeko silently approached her and crouched.
"Your skirt isn't appropriate for running. Please excuse me." Saeko said before ripping her skirt, creating a deep slit that revealed her purple thong.
"H-Hey, this is a branded skirt!" Shizuka complained.
However, she immediately closed her mouth upon noticing Saeko's silent gaze.
"R-Right, survival is the most important." She said, nodding to herself.
I sighed and continued walking with them. Crossing this river would be the hardest part of our journey, and we needed to be careful.
After looking around, I noticed the area was invested in zombies. Swimming across would also be impossible due to the strong current and the zombies. If we got bitten in the water, we wouldn't be able to fight back.
'Then the only choice is...'
I looked at the man-made barrier on top of the bridge. If we went on the barrier, then we could pass through the bridge easily. However, there were some zombies blocking our way.
If it were only me and Saeko, we might be able to manage breaking through them. But with Shizuka, the chance was low.
'What should I do?'
Was there something useful that could take the zombies' attention away or scatter them?
'Maybe there is something useful in the Shop system?'
So far, I was so focused on escaping that I hadn't had the time to check the shop. I had 170 points from my previous choices.

My jaw dropped upon seeing the price. They were too expensive!
Handguns started from 50 Shop Points and the ammos around 25 Shop Points while the rifles took 300 Shop Points. I tried to check for a sniper rifle, but the price was similar to an assault rifle. Shotgun was half of the rifle, but it was still too much.
'I won't be able to afford them right now. The system is seriously unreliable. Though it is also a very useful aid to help me survive.'
The equipment was also expensive, so I couldn't buy any of them either. Even though I was a little bit disappointed, I still need something from it.
'Flashbang. This will create a sound loud enough to gather zombies. I'd prefer a normal Hand Grenade, but it's too expensive. I can afford 2 Flashbangs for one of them.'
Right now my goal wasn't killing the zombies but passing the bridge. So I swiftly bought 2 flashbangs, hiding them under my clothes.
Then, I pretended to take one of them out and showed them to Saeko.
"This will help us gather the zombies. Once I throw it, we need to run toward the bridge and pass the barricade. No need to fight them." I said, looking at both of them.
Shizuka nodded, "I got it."
Saeko looked at it curiously, her eyes full of questions. But she didn't voice her curiosity and only nodded. "Understood."
"Alright, let's go. We will cross the bridge safely."
With that, I led the three of us toward the bridge. We moved slowly to ensure we created no sound and dodged the infected as much as possible.
When we couldn't advance anymore, I nodded at both of them and pulled the flashbang's pin. I had two seconds to throw it before it exploded.
I used all my strength to throw the flashbang as far away as possible from us.
It flew through the air and landed about twenty meters behind us. Then, there was a blinding flash and a loud bang.
Bang!
