Casa's fight with the last pirate continued—Rin only watched for a moment before averting his gaze. He trusted Casa.
More importantly, Rin sensed a subtle fluctuation from within the universe inside his body had started changing.
Without hesitation, Rin found a quiet spot and sat cross-legged.
He closed his eyes and delved inward, sensing the internal cosmic realm granted by his Uchu Uchu no Mi (Cosmic-Cosmic Fruit), a power far beyond standard Paramecia or even Logia classifications something bordering on mythical.
In the vast and initially barren universe within, a sudden boom echoed purple thunder roared through the void, illuminating space in violent flashes.
Then it happened.
Tiny black specks scattered across the universe like ants.
"Meteorites?" Rin's brows furrowed.
Upon closer inspection, he confirmed they were indeed drifting space rocks meteorites, floating across his internal cosmos like satellites in orbit.
"If these are meteorites… can I control them?" Rin whispered to himself.
It was an outrageous thought. But considering how Admiral Fujitora used gravitational techniques from the Zushi Zushi no Mi to pull meteorites from orbit, Rin's cosmic fruit potentially had a similar or even higher ceiling.
Before Rin could test the idea, the inner universe shifted again.
Cracks spread open like tectonic fractures then a massive celestial body emerged.
A planet.
Its surface teemed with blue oceans and scattered landmasses it resembled the world he currently lived in.
Suddenly, a torrent of information flooded Rin's mind. It was similar to how Vegapunk might instantly download data into a Pacifista, except the pain was real his head throbbed with searing intensity.
When it settled, Rin gasped.
The planet inside his body was a microcosm of the real One Piece world. A mirror of reality. And the universe within him was intertwined with the actual cosmos, making Rin a living interface his position on the real world served as a targeting node.
He could pull meteorites from within to crash down upon the external world like how Enel used his flying ark Maxim to call down lightning, Rin could summon celestial doom.
"If I direct a meteorite to this planet's location from inside…"
That meant real meteorites would begin descending from the sky, their trajectories aligning with his coordinates.
The implications were terrifying.
Just the friction from atmospheric reentry would make the smallest one deadly. A large meteorite could easily obliterate an island something only high-end powerhouses like Whitebeard or the Ancient Weapons could rival.
More shocking was that this was just the first stage of the Cosmic Fruit.
Rin's thoughts went wild. "What if I could pull actual planets from the internal universe and crash them into the real world?"
Then he froze.
"No… That's suicide. If two planets collide, the shockwaves would erase everything including me," Rin muttered, shaking his head. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves."
He shelved the catastrophic idea and focused on a more feasible test.
"I wonder how powerful these meteorites are in practice… and whether I can manipulate their trajectory with gravity yet."
Scanning the internal cosmos, Rin located the smallest meteorite a chunk roughly the size of a refrigerator.
He pointed to it.
"Let's try this."
Cosmic Fruit: Meteorite Fall!
With a sharp gesture, Rin launched the test meteorite toward a patch of ocean near the shore. The internal cosmic link responded the trajectory was set. The meteorite would break through from his inner universe and fall to Earth, much like an externalized version of Fujitora's spatial summons.
But it would take time at least ten minutes to descend through the veil between inner space and the real world.
Rin rose, brushing off his pants, and turned toward Casa's battlefield.
Casa had nearly wrapped things up.
"Die!" Casa roared, blurring with a Soru-style movement. He vanished from sight, reappearing mid-air above his enemy.
With his leg sheathed in Armament Haki, he slammed it down.
BOOM!
The ground ruptured the enemy pirate was instantly crushed into the soil, lifeless.
"Let's go," Rin said, walking toward him. "I want to show you something."
"Show me what?" Casa asked, wiping sweat and cracking his neck.
"Something that'll blow your mind." Rin smirked.
Seeing that grin, Casa arched a brow. Anything that could make the always-serious Rin smile had to be serious.
Without delay, he followed Rin to the beach.
"There," Rin pointed at the sky. "Wait a few minutes."
"…Okay." Casa nodded. Though still confused, he trusted Rin and waited.
Minutes passed.
Then Casa's pupils contracted.
From the cloud cover above, a massive shadow pierced through.
A flaming rock, trailing smoke and fire, descended from the sky like divine wrath a meteorite.
"HOLY!?"
Casa's jaw dropped. It wasn't the meteorite itself that stunned him it was how Rin knew.
Before he could ask, Rin answered with a grin.
"My Devil Fruit."
"S…Such power," Casa gasped, voice barely audible. "This… You could destroy entire islands."
He wasn't wrong.
If Rin refined this ability and enhanced its range, precision, and payload he could rival Buster Call-level destruction.
The impact would be catastrophic.
As if to validate his fears
BOOOOOOM!
The meteorite slammed into the sea, sending towering waves bursting skyward. The water vaporized instantly into clouds of steam, the sea churned violently, and whirlpools spread outward from the epicenter.
The sea itself writhed as if wounded.
Casa stared, speechless.
And Rin?
He just watched with a calm, measured gaze—like a god learning the extent of his dominion.
