Chapter 7 - PTD: Planning, Training, Developing

--- Chapter 7 ---

"This..."

"Yuan, I'm not dreaming, right?"

My sister and I stared at the dining table with piles of golden coins.

With such an amount of money, they can swim in it.

I chuckled, "Hehe, of course not."

"You're not dreaming, Sister Yue."

"We are indeed rich now!"

"You don't steal them, right?" She gave me a suspicious look.

I waved my hand, "Look at this adorable brother of yours. Do you believe I can steal from someone?"

"No..."

"Then, believe me!"

"Okay..."

Han Yue had no choice but to accept the reality. One gold coin is enough for an ordinary family to live for a year.

But now? They have hundreds of thousands of them.

She couldn't help but sigh. Their late parents struggled to rent a Spirit Master to hunt Spirit Beast because they couldn't take out 1,000 gold coins and ended up dying because of it.

"With this much money, we can rent thousands of those Spirit Masters to hunt Spirit Beasts..."

"That's the idea," I said casually. "I wanted to rent some mercenary to help hunt your Spirit Rings."

"But not now. We will do it after I awaken my Martial Soul."

"We still need to look for a suitable Spirit Beast, and I have commissioned some people in the Soul Hunting Village nearby."

"Yuan, Sister felt useless..." Han Yue bitterly replied.

I froze and hurriedly hugged her, "No, Sister is not useless."

"My sister is the most beautiful!"

"The best cook!"

"Money and cultivation resources are nothing to my sister's happiness!"

"Yuan~!" My sister melted due to my warm, heart-stirring comments and hugged me tightly, planting a few kisses here and there.

I helplessly accepted my fate.

My sister is a beauty, so it's not bad to experience something like this.

After that, we had lunch and formulated my sister's training plan. Perhaps due to my influence, my sister wanted to become a Spirit Master of Assault System.

So, I began modifying my techniques to suit her.

I also pondered about Martial Arts because self-created Spirit Skills are a must in this world. I can't let my sisters out into the wild world without protection.

Martial arts involve the use of all four limbs along with the essence of the world, helping practitioners build a stronger foundation on their path of cultivation.

A Movement Technique resembles a body-flickering art, enabling swift and agile movements.

A Defensive Technique safeguards the body from both internal and external threats.

Lastly, an Auxiliary Technique facilitates faster recovery of energy and stamina.

With these ideas, I also devised my own training plan.

Day after day.

Week after week.

Month after month.

My sister and I trained through the seasons, improving ourselves in this small village without anyone knowing.

Unknowingly, eight months have passed.

It's just one month away from my Spirit Awakening Ceremony.

In the backyard, my sister and I were with each other.

My sister moved gracelessly on snow-covered land, leaving no mark on the white ground. She used the movement technique I deduced called the Flash Step, which involves an explosive yet "lightless" step.

This movement technique is no different than a traditional body flickering jutsu in Naruto World, but I modified it to be faster.

I watched my sister approaching me and throwing her punch.

"Roc Fist!" A cry of a bird echoed from my sister's joint as she unleashed a quick yet deadly fist to my face.

I smiled and crossed my arms, seemingly creating an energy barrier on my skin. "Stone Edge."

BAM!

My sister's punch hit my crossed arms but failed to leave even a scratch.

I used the same movement technique as her and hugged her by the waist before slamming her down, locking her neck with my warm body.

My sister blushed, "Stop, Yuan! Stop!"

I released her and commented, "You're getting better at this, Sister."

"That Roc Fist would blow anyone below Spirit Elder away."

"Hehe, but it's useless against me. My Stone Edge has reached a peak mastery, which means the tremor caused by Roc Fist is 'quickly' nullified upon contact."

"Hmph, you're bullying your sister!" She pouted at me.

"Now, kiss me, or I won't forgive you."

"Okay, okay." I shook my head weakly before giving her a peck on the cheek. "Now, meditate."

"Hmm..." My sister hummed, following my order, and meditated with specific breathing patterns.

She's using Total Recovery Breathing, which takes a "significant" amount of oxygen and replenishes tired muscles with more energy.

After eight months, I fully developed Four Basic Arts.

The Art of Movement, Flash Step.

The Art of Fist, Roc Fist.

The Art of Defense, Stone Edge.

And Art of Recovery, the Total Recovery Breathing.

Although making these techniques was 'quite' a hassle, I was able to equip my sister with martial arts experience and a foundation for her future path.

And that's all that matters.

Making my family strong!

Of course, creating Four Basic Arts doesn't mean I neglect my cultivation because I also improved Insect Vibrato Breathing, Mental Palace Art, and Earthly Nourishment Manual considerably, making them more efficient in what they do.

My sister likewise trained her version of these cultivation techniques, the Moon Breathing, Moon Palace Art, and Lunar Nourishment Manual.

The difference between her vision and mine is that she used Lunar Qi and Yin Attributes instead of the "Universal Energy" ones. Of course, this doesn't make her weaker. It just makes her specialize in that field.

Anyway, back to us.

After scamming nobles several months ago, the appearance of Joyous Journey and Maiden's Charm has been a boom in the Douluo Continent, alarming the two empires and Spirit Hall.

Too bad for them, they would never be able to trace these "limited" medicines back to me.

People started looking for the medicinal saint in the West, but that place was 'thoroughly' desolated.

Using the money I got from scamming them, I founded a merchant union and controlled it from the shadows. Even though the range of merchant unions is limited, I was able to harvest some thousand years of Whale Glue and even a rare 10,000-year-old one accidentally.

These Whale Glues have transformed my physique into that of a Spirit Elder, enabling me to absorb a Spirit Ring that is between 1,000 and 4,000 years old as my first. If anyone in this era knew about this, they would be shocked to the core.

After all, Spirit Masters in this era absorbed a Spirit Ring between 400 and 500 years old as their first. It was not until Tang San ate Immortal Herb that someone with a 10,000-year-old 4th Spirit Ring appeared.

And this already caused an uproar in the Spirit Master's community.

My sister and I sat in the living room, blowing out the hot chocolates. The warm vapor brushes our noses comfortably.

"Yuan, you're going to awaken your Martial Soul in a month."

"What Martial Soul do you think you will awaken?"

"If we followed our parent's patterns, I either awakened Rock or Chisel Martial Soul," I replied nonchalantly.

Even though I said so, I knew I might awaken a different Martial Soul than our parents.

I had a hunch.

The hunch I had when I was about to enter that "void" again.

So, I instinctively believed it.

Unknown to me, my dear sister started dreaming about Double Moon with me using Moon Martial Soul like her.

What a silly girl.

...

I glanced outside and saw the snow piling up nicely, giving me the illusion of the pure world. "Blue Silver Grass, Clear Sky Hammer."

"Tch, what a waste of good Martial Souls."
