Kaito followed Sergeant Lin to the Earth Kingdom's military training facility, his heart racing with anticipation. As they approached the facility, Kaito could see that it was a large, fortified compound surrounded by high walls and guarded by heavily armed soldiers.

Sergeant Lin nodded. "Yes, Instructor Wong. This is Kaito."
Instructor Wong eyed Kaito warily. "I've heard a lot about you, Kaito," he said. "You're a firebender, and you're willing to defect to the Earth Kingdom."
