Tian Yu, you keep giving me more and more surprises!
But I wonder… just how powerful is your next move?
Might Guy pondered for a moment before stepping forward, ready to meet Tian Yu's attack head-on.
Boom!
The sharp white wind blade collided against Guy's chakra-reinforced calf, shattering instantly upon impact. Despite dissipating into the air, the force made Guy pause, forcing him to take a step back.
Looking up at Tian Yu, Guy's eyes held a mixture of astonishment and admiration, as if he were staring at an emerging prodigy. The wind blade Tian Yu had just unleashed possessed the power of a C-rank ninjutsu!
"Sensei! Take this!" Tian Yu called out, his voice filled with determination.
Without missing a beat, he swung his sword once more, sending another wind blade at Guy. Using the attack as a diversion, Tian Yu closed the distance, engaging in direct combat with Guy's shadow clone.
In the air, Tian Yu's white attire blended with his high-speed movements, resembling a gust of wind, while Guy's signature green jumpsuit made him look like a whirlwind.
White wind and green tempest clashed.
Attack followed defense, defense turned into counterattack.
In the blink of an eye, hundreds of exchanges had already occurred!
"Since when did my brother become so strong?!" Tiantian exclaimed in disbelief.
Her eyes sparkled with admiration as she continued, "My brother is the strongest! At this rate, he might even become Hokage someday!"
Xiao Li, on the other hand, clenched his fists as flames of determination burned in his eyes.
"Tian Yu… he's fighting on par with Teacher Guy? Is this the gap between us?"
Realizing how far behind he was, Xiao Li resolved, "I must train even harder! No, not just twice, but three times the effort!"
The battle continued to captivate them, their eyes glued to the fast-paced exchange.
As time passed, Tian Yu and Guy continued their relentless sparring.
After nearly half an hour, Bang!
Guy's shadow clone dispersed into a puff of white smoke.
The real Guy, standing nearby, walked over and placed a firm hand on Tian Yu's shoulder, his eyes brimming with approval.
"Alright, we'll end today's sparring here."
He smiled. "Tian Yu, the chakra reserves in my shadow clone were completely drained. Your talent and growth are beyond my expectations. At your age, this level of strength is truly astonishing."
Might Guy's Teachings
Tian Yu gave a humble smile. "Sensei, your strength is incredible. Even just facing your shadow clone was overwhelming!"
Guy chuckled proudly. "Taijutsu, when mastered, is not weaker than ninjutsu!"
Suddenly, he remembered something—the sword in Tian Yu's hand.
The long sword Tian Yu wielded was not ordinary. It could generate wind blades with each swing. If not for his speed as a Taijutsu master, Guy might have been caught off guard.
"Tian Yu," Guy asked, "did you craft this sword yourself?"
Tian Yu nodded. "Yes, Sensei."
Guy's admiration deepened. "Incredible! A sword that can unleash attacks similar to ninjutsu—this is no ordinary weapon!"
Tiantian and Xiao Li quickly ran over, their eyes filled with envy as they stared at Tian Yu's blade. They had witnessed its power firsthand.
Tian Yu smiled. "This sword is forged using the same method as the legendary Kusanagi Sword. However, it is still far from the real thing—it's just a basic version."
"The Kusanagi Sword? That explains it!" Guy's eyes lit up as he recalled historical records.
Long before the establishment of Konoha, during the Warring States Period, there was a clan in the Land of Fire known as the Kusanagi Clan. They were legendary weaponsmiths, forging some of the most powerful ninja tools in history.
Among their creations were eleven legendary swords, each possessing extraordinary abilities. They became known as the Kusanagi Swords, revered as artifacts.
Tian Yu turned to Guy and asked sincerely, "Sensei, can you teach me Konoha Whirlwind and Konoha Great Whirlwind? I really want to learn them."
His voice was firm as he continued, "Even though I have this sword, and it grants me great power, I believe my own physical strength is just as important."
Guy was momentarily stunned before murmuring to himself, "To be strong in both self and weapon…"
Many shinobi who wield powerful weapons rely solely on their tools, becoming overconfident. But true power comes from both the wielder and the weapon being in harmony.
Guy smiled, his heart swelling with pride. "Very well! I'll teach you both techniques!"
Tian Yu's eyes widened with excitement. "Thank you, Sensei!"
Guy chuckled. "Still calling me Sensei?"
Tian Yu realized what Guy meant and immediately corrected himself. "Teacher Guy!"
"That's the spirit! Hahaha!" Guy laughed heartily. "I've accepted a student with immense talent and a burning desire to grow! Kakashi will be so jealous!"
Standing nearby, Tiantian and Xiao Li watched with envy as Guy formally took Tian Yu under his wing.
Even before graduating from the Academy, Tian Yu had managed to gain an Elite Jonin-level mentor. Such an opportunity was extremely rare!
But before they could become disheartened, Guy turned to them with an encouraging grin.
"Don't be discouraged, you two!" He patted their shoulders. "Once your fundamentals are solid, and you reach Tian Yu's level, I will teach you my techniques too!"
"W-WHAT?!"
Tiantian and Xiao Li's eyes widened in shock.
Did this mean that as long as they trained hard enough, they, too, could become Guy's personal students?!
Excitement surged through them, and without hesitation, both of them bowed deeply.
"Thank you so much, Teacher Guy!" they exclaimed in unison, their voices filled with determination.
The path ahead would be grueling, but with hard work, perseverance, and the guidance of Might Guy, their future as powerful shinobi was within reach!
