If somebody thought that Naruto would visit a Library after a week of hospitalisation. They would either be taken to hospital for check-up or arrested for interrogation. The shock itself produced the most silence the library ever had, thought Honoka. She has recently joined the Library Management Department after the Invasion where her teammates died. She was also an orphan of the kyuubi attack, and for sure used to hate the blonde like others as well. But 6 years of being genin, failing the chunin exams 4 times and now used to the horrors of a ninja life, especially for a kunoichi. She Understood that fearing a little child or hating him for something he didnt even do is nothing but frustation of the weak people of this village. She wouldnt say it out loud, just like some others who understand the poor boy's condition, as any sympathiser of the kyuubi brat not only face criticism from the locals but also have dire consequences from the higher ups as well. As if they want him to be alone and suffering in the village. Knowing what's stored inside him, how they think its a good idea is beyond her thinking. But she is now quite used to the cruelty of ninja world.
Yet watching the boy waste his time pranking and running across the village for some attention was both annoying and pitiful. Unlike her, He atleast had the luxury to be selected in the top class of their year. She was from the the Third Batch. The bottom half of the already filtered rejects. Genin corp was all she could ever hope to be from there, if not for kishi-sensei who despite being just a chunin and not having the required clearance to many things, still decided to take a team for our sake. He was also the orphan from the same orphanage as hers and one of her now dead teammate.
Thats why she didnt make any fuss when she saw the blonde in front of her desk. Have been in the same orphanage as him for an year. She thought if nothing else she could do her job properly by helping a fellow orphan by not following a 'never given but mutually understood' order to not let the blonde get any help. She knows if she were on the field job she would have gotten some ill-suited mission for this. But as a librarian, the most they could do is make her work some extra hours. She can handle that as penance for foolish thoughts all those years.

A Library should be silent, but this much ? But still, Shock is better than usual glares Naruto gets normally. Or He gets ? His Identity is still a little confusing to him but nothing to concern, He has everything what Naruto was before just with some added knowledge and experience. All he need is to stop referring himself in third party terms. It'll go away with time.
Back to the matter, why Library ? Knowing that it is very unusual of Naruto ?
Because of the very fucking reason. The first emotion he felt after he was done moping was anger at himself. How can Naruto be this stupid ? His basic knowledge of the world is in shambles. His Financial Understanding also skewed, That can be due to stupid villagers and their overpricing but still 'He' should have known better. To go on to outside of village with little knowledge of geography and history of the place and most importantly of other hidden villages, is idiocy to the highest degree.
No wonder this guy was treated like an idiot by his peers.
So the first thing he did as soon as he got discharged is to go for any viable source of knowledge. Normally, He would have gone to Iruka-sensei. That man is an Angel in disguise, thought the blonde. To let go of hatred after getting some common sense maybe normal, but the patience, dedication and care he has shown Naruto is beyond the capability of a normal human, especially when he was saddled with two different classes full of hellish creatures disguised as children.
But he dont think he is that much 'In-sync' with Naruto yet, to face Iruka-sensei without him getting suspicious. Anybody else? For sure, maybe except Kakashi in the start. But that man came only once, Once ! That too a day after he 'woke up'. Treating him like he just got extra tired from training and not 'Almost Dead' as what these people will be believing for the rest of their life.
Any dissimilarities he may have shown probably got chalked up to his trauma back then. And now only Iruka-sensei is the one he cannot hide from. Soon that will also change. Till then, he will have to make due with other reliable sources.
So not knowing anybody who would care to help the 'Kyubi Brat', he came to the most general source of information.
And it turns out may not be such a bad idea. The economies of hidden villages work way differently from normal areas. Depended on 'Grants' from the Feudal Lords and very unstable source of income from missions, Their economies are very volatile but any drastic change is kept away from markets and only subjugated to service sector making their salaries a variable amount. So to adjust themselves to civilian lives, for espionage and retirement plans after 'glorius' service to village, there are plenty of books with detailed analysis of civilian vs ninja lifestyle giving him much required knowledge related to this world. It also helps that public Library are also a place which cannot be spied upon. Ninja takes their privacy related to ninja stuff very seriously. Any jutsu scroll or weapon they posses is kept near to them all the time, stealing knowledge can hardly be considered crime in village full of killers after all.
So this place is perfect to lose his trail following him since he left hospital. Both the trails. Yeah, another surprise, he is a sensor now. Apparently with the 'fusion' now he has knowledge of having a body both with and without chakra allowing him to 'sense' the difference. In four days, he is now capable of sensing chakra signals upto roughly 40 metres. So his time at hospital was not a full waste.
As for his 'watchers'. First trail he knew is from Hokage. But the second, with his new knowledge he can guess is from a certain old fake cripple bastard who might want to see if the kyuubi is any flight risk. So Library not only best option to hide, but their hardly anything available here which a ninja would ever consider suspicious.
The canteen nearby with minimal prices too a nice benefit as they cannot overcharge him. With his body still adjusting to height and weight differences and muscle memory still a bit shot. He can't do any training for a week atleast. So this is perfect way to pass the time. Thought the blonde.

Note - Average Admissions Every Year in Ninja Academy is roughly around 120. They filter the best 30 based on test and status in the top class and remaining distributed into two other batches.
Naruto's batch also had 30 but 2 students got downgraded and 1 left the academy, leaving his graduating class total to 27.
