The mysterious man gazed at the kneeling king, a smirk forming on his face. "Good, good. You know your place—expected from someone of royal blood."
The king bowed his head. "Yes, sir. I once thought the tales were myths, but after witnessing your power… I know now they were true."
The man nodded. "You're not bad. A little more talented than the other weaklings here. Tell me… what's your level?"
The king looked up, confused. "Level? What do you mean, sir? I don't understand."
The man's eyes narrowed. "What? You don't know your level? Show me your system."
The king's confusion deepened. "System? I have never heard of such a thing."
For the first time, the man's expression changed. Shock.
"They don't have a system?" he thought. Then, after a moment of realization, his expression returned to calm.
"I see… so they are not bound by the system. No wonder they are this weak. But then… how have they survived this long?"
A thought struck him.
"Wait… do they at least know they can gain power by consuming the flesh of the monsters on this planet?"
If they didn't… then their survival itself was a miracle.
Now he understood. This was why the Lord had sent him here.
His eyes flashed coldly. "I have a lot to do."
The Birth of a System
The man turned back to the king. "If I leave things as they are, you ants might betray me out of ignorance. So… I will create a system for you."
The king didn't understand what that meant, but the aura the man released made him instinctively bow lower.
For the next few moments, the man asked the king many questions—about the kingdom, the Special Soldiers, and their origins.
Then, he found something interesting.
Most of the Special Soldiers came from the royal family. That wasn't a coincidence.
"So, these so-called 'elites' have gotten their hands on the blood of a God-level monster…"
He smirked.
"I see. This must have been the ruler of this domain before my Lord arrived. My Lord must have slain it and left behind its blood, and these weaklings treated it as holy water—only allowing the 'talented' to drink it."
He shook his head. "Pathetic. A single sip of divine blood, and they think they are strong?"
But this discovery gave him an idea. He would use this blood as a foundation for the system he would create.
After gathering all the information he needed, he vanished.
The King's Revelation
The Special Soldiers had been standing in silence, overwhelmed by the man's presence. But the moment he disappeared, they rushed toward the king.
"Who was he?!" one soldier demanded.
"Why did you call him the Creator God?" another asked, his voice shaking.
The king took a deep breath. "Have you ever wondered who built these towering walls?"
Silence.
The king continued. "Have you ever questioned why there are so few monsters in this region? Or why the ones that do exist are so weak?"
The soldiers exchanged uncertain glances. They had never dared to think about such things.
Then the king spoke again, his voice solemn. "There is an ancient story passed down in the royal family. A god once descended upon this planet. Our ancestors met him by chance. He was kind… and he wiped out a God-level monster that ruled this land. He didn't even need to move."
The Special Soldiers froze.
For a moment, the room was silent.
Then, they burst into laughter.
"King, do you truly believe that nonsense?" one soldier scoffed.
"You know as well as we do—God-level monsters are undefeatable. If one attacked, it could destroy the walls and wipe us out in an instant!" another said.
The king remained unfazed. "Have you ever seen an Emperor-level monster behave like a pet?"
Their laughter stopped.
The realization hit them all at once.
Their eyes widened. Their bodies stiffened.
"Wait… are you saying that he is…?" one soldier whispered.
The king exhaled. "I don't know for sure. But one thing is certain… the ancient story says that the Creator God would send someone powerful to train us."
The soldiers swallowed hard.
If that story was true… then their world was about to change forever.
