Chapter 338 - Chapter Of "God"

Site-19, Anomaly-116 Unit.

Juan Xi, strapped to the medical bed with restraints, suddenly opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling.

A voice echoed in his mind:

"This story has reached Chapter 343—the project number of 'God.' It's time for you to write a 'Chapter of God'..."

A stream of text formed in his thoughts, arranging itself for presentation to the higher narrative.

The following content is visible only to the upper narrative:

[Page: Unrecorded]

[Designation: Anomaly-343]

[Name: "God"]

[Threat Level: Safe / Tier-5 Reality Bender]

[Description]

This entity serves as The Administrator of this world's SCP Foundation, the sole holder of Tier-6 clearance, and the overseer of Anomaly-2000 (Deus Ex Machina).

Origin: Born in Jerusalem, a failed product of the anomaly world's attempt to create a deity. Due to insufficient population for Tier-6 Supreme Abstract ascension, it emerged as a flawed Tier-5 demiurge—a false god.

Purpose: To maintain the stability of the anomaly world by eliminating all threats. Its actions answer only to ████████①.

[Containment Procedures]

None.

[Abilities]

Demiurge

Restricted by its Tier-5 status. Requires galactic-scale faith convergence to unlock Supreme Abstract capabilities.

Spatial Distortion

Includes spatial teleportation, barriers, and tunneling. Cannot open cross-dimensional pathways.

Temporal Distortion

Manifests as time-locking specific anomalies (e.g., Anomaly-053 "The Young Girl", Anomaly-CN-722 "The Child Laborer").

Harming time-locked targets triggers "proxy death" effects (see Anomaly-053 documentation).

Memetics

Granted by ████████①. Allows creation and control of memetic anomalies (e.g., SMS meme).

(Juan Xi's Note: This content is visible only to the upper narrative and will not appear in the "Anomaly Archives". Any upper-narrative observer attempting to relay this information to Luo Shu will face punishment from ████████②!)

"Is this enough?" Juan Xi asked the voice in his mind. Only in the mental realm could he speak freely, unhindered by his aphasia.

"For now," the voice replied. "This much will suffice."

As the voice faded, Juan Xi suddenly demanded, "When can I go back? I've had enough!"

"You'll leave when it's time. For now, keep being our narrative courier."

"Courier?! No breaks, no rest—I'm breaking apart! This world doesn't need me! Why can't I leave NOW?"

The voice didn't answer.

Juan Xi ranted on, "This isn't even a story! As the upper narrative, I can't influence this world—so why force me to ferry its plot? Surviving between ████████① and ████████② is terrifying! I WANT OUT!"

Silence. The voice ignored his outburst, leaving Juan Xi to his futile rage.

The Meeting Agreement

Meanwhile, Luo Shu's call with Marion Wheeler reached its conclusion.

The Antimeme Director wouldn't simply hand over Site-41's coordinates. Instead, she provided a meeting point—where she'd personally escort Luo Shu to see Anomaly-3211.

A reasonable request.

As a collaborator, Marion wanted active involvement in uncovering the truth, not passive reliance on Luo Shu's filtered revelations.

But for Luo Shu? A risk.

What if the meeting spot was a Foundation trap?

What if they nuked the location on sight?

Marion wasn't bound by Anomaly-Comrade or Anomaly-Lord memetic effects—her trustworthiness was unverified.

Yet the meeting was set for three days later, giving Luo Shu time to reconsider.

But he wouldn't back down.

If he feared danger now, how could he face the truth later?

Worse trials awaited—perhaps even a confrontation with Anomaly-3125, where escape might be impossible.

Better to meet peril head-on.

Preparation

The next day, Luo Shu abandoned his underground renovations to rest and recuperate.

At 10 PM, he activated Unobservable State and set off in his Transformer pickup truck, scouting the rendezvous point early.

He'd watch for traps.

If Marion betrayed him?

He'd vanish into the Charlatan's Realm.

If the Foundation nuked the site?

He'd already be gone.
