Chapter 134 - Escorting The New SCP

For the SCP Foundation, deploying non-AI robots was child's play—especially low-grade models without intelligence.

Half a day after Epsilon-11 ("Nine-Tailed Fox") locked down the apartment building, two UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters bearing U.S. Air Force insignia appeared on the horizon.

One landed in the open area in front of the building, while the other—a drone variant—hovered above the rooftop.

A man in an Air Force lieutenant's uniform stepped out, but Luo Shu noticed the emblem on his chest:

A black hammer with fangs.

The symbol of Mobile Task Force Nu-7 ("Hammer Down").

Nu-7 was a battalion-sized unit with overwhelming firepower, including:

Three special forces companies

A light armored vehicle company

A tank platoon

A helicopter squadron

A CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) platoon

Combat engineers

A Nuclear Weapons Specialist (NWS) team

Most importantly, Nu-7 was stationed at Area 51—meaning they were Area-14's dedicated strike force.

Given that Area-14 housed Keter-class SCPs capable of causing XK-class scenarios, Nu-7's nuclear team was no stranger to extreme measures.

The Foundation had dispatched Nu-7 for the Malice Perceiver—both expected and unexpected.

Expected, because the entity could manifest nukes.

Unexpected, because Site-19 (in the capital) couldn't meet the 100m human exclusion requirement.

Even Site-19's Sublevel-5 was only barely 100m underground—far from sufficient.

Digging deeper would be impractical. Relocating to a remote Area was the only option.

The Nu-7 lieutenant approached Big Beard Jack.

"We're taking over. Epsilon-11 is dismissed."

Epsilon-11's low status in the Foundation's hierarchy was clear—they were being brushed aside.

Jack acquiesced, but the lieutenant added:

"The containment specialist stays to assist."

Luo Shu glanced at Jack, who nodded. "Go with them."

Containment in Motion

Inside the Black Hawk, a technician remotely operated three robot guards.

Through their optical sensors, Luo Shu watched as they:

Entered the apartment.

Confronted the Malice Perceiver (still eating pie, ignoring the robots—confirming Luo Shu's theory).

Fired a net gun, entangling the entity.

Administered Class-C amnestics (erasing WMD memories).

The lieutenant explained: "Your suggestion. Targeted retrograde amnesia."

The robots then carried the subdued entity to the drone helicopter.

As Luo Shu wondered if he could leave, the lieutenant said:

"You're coming with us. Until containment is finalized."

Luo Shu was thrilled.

Area-14!

A site he'd longed to see—and a chance to expand the Anomaly Compendium.

(Though he worried about its Keter-class residents.)

The Long Flight

The two Black Hawks flew 3,000 km from the East Coast to Nevada at 300 km/h, refueling once.

By nightfall, they reached Homey Airport—the public name for Area 51.

North lay Groom Lake (the real Area-14).

Southwest was the Nevada Test Site, including the Sedan Crater—a visible scar from a nuclear detonation.

(Public myth: A nuclear test.

Truth: The original Area-14 was obliterated during a massive breach. Nu-7 nuked it, creating the crater. The site was later moved 64 km northeast to Groom Lake.)

Arrival at Area-14

As they descended, Luo Shu spotted:

Heavy fortifications (layered blast doors, anti-air batteries).

TX-9 "Dumbot" patrols (no AI, per protocol).

A hangar marked "SCP-XXXX"—the Malice Perceiver's new home.

The lieutenant smirked. "Welcome to the end of the world."
