Chapter 87 - The Eye-Pod Couriers

With all his illicit items safely stored in SCP-055's unit, Luo Shu slept like a baby for the first time in months.

No more paranoid midnight checks under his pillow.

His photo-linked vault was more secure than Fort Knox—unobservable, unmemorable, and utterly inaccessible to anyone but him.

Even if "God" tore apart his room (which the old creep was currently doing), he'd find nothing.

Divine Harassment

Luo Shu's tactical terminal buzzed:

[Eye-2]: Black-clad elder in your room. Phasing through walls.

"Persistent bastard," Luo Shu muttered, sipping coffee.

Let him search. The vault was beyond his reach.

Then—a nudge at his ankle.

SCP-131-A and -B (the "Eye-Pods") blinked up at him, one spitting out a scroll of papyrus.

The note, in elegant script:

"Why won't you visit? I miss you."

Gaia.

Luo Shu's chest tightened.

He scribbled a reply: "I'm just a D-class. No access."

The Eye-Pods swallowed the note and zoomed off.

The Bait

Luo Shu approached Big Beard Jack. "Boss, wanna check out this vintage bourbon I scored?"

Jack's eyes lit up. "Lead the way."

They arrived just as SCP-343 fled through the wall—but not before Jack glimpsed a shadow.

"The hell…?"

Luo Shu feigned ignorance. "What?"

Jack shook his head. "Probably nothing."

The Midnight Visitor

As Jack poured drinks, the Eye-Pods burst in, delivering another note:

"Tell me where you live. I'll come tonight."

Luo Shu's face burned. Jack was right there.

He shooed the pods away—but they planted themselves, waiting for a reply.

Persistent little delivery demons.
