Chapter 70 - What Did I Just See?

Luoshu rubbed his eyes, unable to believe what he was witnessing.

He had thought this was a Terminator scenario—but no. The Chaos Insurgency had outdone itself.

Transformers.

Hydraulic arms, gears, doors, bumpers, truck beds, tires—all reassembled into gigantic humanoid machines.

This wasn't Skynet. This was fucking Transformers.

Two days ago, they were T-800s. Now? Optimus Prime and Bumblebee knockoffs.

Wait another week, and SCP-100-1 would probably build Fortress Maximus or a Gundam.

Give me SCP-100 and enough time, and I'll rule the universe.

But these "Autobots" had limits:

Couldn't leave the junkyard's fence.

No flight units (thank God this wasn't an aircraft boneyard, or Decepticons would've wiped them out already).

Big Beard Jack paled. "This is why I brought you. You're up."

Me? Fight giant robots? Just execute me now.

But Jack clarified: "We'll distract them. You sneak in and talk to SCP-100-1. It controls them all."

Oh. That's... slightly better.

Then—

"BEEP BEEP!"

"Optimus" blasted its horn. The machines couldn't speak, but the message was clear:

"Stay back."

At first, Epsilon-11 assumed they were safe outside the fence.

Then "Optimus" lifted a 3-ton Ford pickup and hurled it at them.

"RUN!"

Luoshu, trapped in the squad's center, realized he was screwed—until he remembered:

[O].

A blink later, he stood behind Jack as the truck crushed the man who'd seen him teleport.

Casualty #1.

The Battlefield

Chaos erupted:

"Optimus" units lobbed cars like catapults.

"Bumblebees" fired high-velocity screws (ripping fist-sized holes through flesh).

Epsilon-11's bullets bounced off improvised car-door shields.

Damaged robots retreated into the junkyard, returning fully repaired.

Within minutes, Epsilon-11 was retreating, casualties mounting.

The Red Right Hand officer grimaced.

"Fall back. I'm calling in a tactical nuke."
