Cherreads

Chapter 20 - Chapter 20: Chi Qing's Cooking Skills

Chi Qing took the supplies given by the village. Although the amount was not much, it was enough for him to live on if he saved a little.

The water and electricity in the house are free, so he just needs to take care of his own food, clothing and daily expenses.

In addition, now that you can take on tasks, you don't have to bother others to take care of you.

Chi Qing was used to being independent and didn't think it was a big deal.

Moreover, it was a matter of course for Chi Qing to make his life comfortable through his own efforts.

So people around him can always feel the breath of life in him.

In this small room, looking at the busy children, Kakashi unconsciously began to relax a little.

The aroma of food gradually enters the nose.

The unique fragrance of the medicinal herbs makes people feel comfortable.

"This smell is very familiar. I feel like I've smelled it before." Kakashi stood up and walked to Chi Qing's side.

He looked down and saw the soup and chicken boiling in the pot.

The delicious chicken soup made him swallow his saliva.

"This is just ordinary chicken soup. It's normal because you've smelled it before." Chi Qing scooped up the chicken fat floating on the surface with an iron spoon and put the lid back on to let the soup continue to boil.

"How long will it take?" Kakashi smelled the food and felt hungry.

"A little longer." Taking advantage of this opportunity, Chi Qing cut the white radish he had just received into small pieces and put them into a jar to make pickled radish.

"Who did you learn this from?" Kakashi found it quite interesting to see such a young child cooking so hard.

"Mother." Of course, this was just what Chi Qing said casually.

After all, he learned to cook in his previous life, and the experience accumulated over time has made his cooking skills quite good.

Kakashi, on the other hand, was inexplicably choked upon hearing this answer, and then felt a little guilty.

Chi Qing lost his parents and became an orphan this year. Didn't my words bring up his sad story?

Looking at Kakashi who suddenly fell silent, Chi Qing felt puzzled. He moved a box from the corner to use as a temporary chair.

"I made soup because I had limited time. The portion was originally for one person." Chi Qing felt a little sorry for the chicken that was originally intended for two meals.

Continuing to ignore the implication of Chi Qing's words, Kakashi, who came to eat for free, took the initiative to bring the soup to the table.

"I'm starting." Kakashi picked up the bowl and took a sip of the hot soup.

Maybe it was too hot, and Kakashi's chest felt hot.

He couldn't remember the last time he had eaten hot food.

"It's delicious, thank you for the treat." Kakashi left after having a free breakfast.

After Chi Qing tidied up, he lay down on the small bed and had a comfortable sleep.

But when I woke up, both the upper and lower shelves of the refrigerator were filled, and some vegetables that couldn't fit in were placed on the table.

Chi Qing guessed who had sent the things and secretly complained that he didn't know whether he slept too deeply or Kakashi really had a talent for being a thief.

Such a big commotion was made in such a small room but no sound was made at all.

He comforted himself by being too confident in the people in Konoha and that was why he was not on guard.

Kakashi has been living alone for some time and cooks for himself in his free time.

But most of the time, Kakashi, who was concentrating on training to improve his strength and frequently going on missions, had not carefully studied that some things must be refrigerated to keep fresh.

Or maybe some things are more likely to go bad if kept in the refrigerator.

Chi Qing had no choice but to take out all the things and then sort them out and put them back in the refrigerator.

Those that cannot be put in but cannot be kept for too long must be eaten first.
