Chapter 26 - Chapter 26 — A Conversation Between Two Women (Bonus)

But this really couldn't be helped.

Kiri sighed inwardly. They still had no way of figuring out what kind of person Ryuji truly was. Someone had to test whether he really had the ability — or the intention — to send them back to their original worlds.

This world was certainly interesting in its own right, but she had unfinished business waiting for her back home.

Revenge.

Yes, revenge.

As Kiri ran her fingers over the scars on her body, she didn't need to think twice. After losing both herself and Ka'atu — and with that traitor's betrayal sowing discord within the ranks — there was no way Arden Heights could hold its ground. Even if she wasn't a military strategist, she knew well enough that internal chaos at a time like that would be devastating.

What mattered most was… even before she had fallen into the Sky Sea, she had already begun to suspect there was a traitor among her people. If she could somehow get back to Arden Heights in time, maybe — just maybe — she could still prevent callet's army from overrunning the place.

And the price? Just her virginity — something she'd kept intact for over twenty years.

Compared to her comrades' lives, compared to the chance to slit that traitor's throat with her own hands… it was nothing.

Her initial distrust of Ryuji had stemmed from how overly upfront he'd been — to the point where it was suspicious. What kind of person just casually admitted to things most people wouldn't dare to speak aloud? It made it hard not to suspect he might be the one behind their forced displacement — maybe to toy with them, enslave them, or worse.

After all, she'd seen plenty of scumbags like that in her time.

But…

Tomorrow would be the fifth day.

She would have been stuck in this world for five days soon — and who knew when Kallet's forces would attack Arden Heights? If she didn't hurry, even if she managed to return, it might already be too late to save anything.

She hadn't forgotten the state she was in when she arrived — plummeting straight toward the sea from the sky. To return, she'd have to make her way through at least one or two of Kallet's camps.

"But... is there really any need to rush this much?" Tsunade asked, frowning. "Wouldn't it be safer to observe him a little longer?"

Tsunade could understand Kiri's desperation. If she still had family or comrades waiting for her back home, and if sleeping with Ryuji really was the only way to return… then purity wouldn't exactly be a priority.

Especially for a ninja.

Besides, she was a medical ninja. Restoring the so-called physical signs of virginity was child's play for her. She could easily repair that part of a woman's body — even without surgery, even just activating her Strength of a Hundred Seal once would do the trick.

But… she had no plans to go back anymore.

There was nothing left for her in Konoha — only painful memories. The only person she might still care about was Shizune, Dan's niece. And even if Tsunade disappeared completely, the old man back home would probably take good care of Shizune. He always did have a soft spot for certain things.

"I'd love to stay and explore this fascinating world too," Kiri said, spreading her hands helplessly. "But I can't. There are too many people waiting for me back home… and I have something important I need to finish."

She grinned, half-joking. "Besides, I've always been curious about that sort of thing anyway — about whether it actually feels good or not — so I guess this just kills two birds with one stone."

Tsunade fell silent. Honestly, she really liked Kiri's personality — straightforward, bold, not unlike her own younger self. In another time or place, if her mood had been better and the world a little less bleak, she would've loved to sit down and drink with her properly.

But not now.

Still, Tsunade couldn't help but offer something, even if it was a little ridiculous.

"When you're about to leave," she said slowly, "come find me. If it bothers you, I can fix it — make it like nothing ever happened."

Kiri blinked, genuinely surprised.

"What, isn't that basically cheating?" She chuckled. "Nah, that's totally unnecessary. I mean… sure, it's a little regrettable. Ideally, I'd like my first time to happen after some romantic date or something, but since things have come to this, there's no point worrying about that anymore."

She waved the idea off without hesitation.

"Besides, fake is fake. A lie's still a lie. If someone really loves me, they wouldn't care about something like that anyway, right?"

Kiri shrugged again.

"And honestly? It's not like men come with an obvious label showing how many lovers they've had. If people are gonna care so much about this kind of thing for women, what about men? Are we supposed to avoid any guy who's ever been in love before? Hah! If that were the case, there'd hardly be any men left to marry in this world."

She laughed, a little helplessly.

"What really pisses men off," she added, "isn't a woman's past — it's women who act all high and mighty like they're some kind of untouchable goddess after having done everything behind the scenes, using it to squeeze more out of a man."

Kiri jabbed a thumb proudly at her own chest.

"I'm not that kind of woman. I've got nothing to hide, nothing to lie about. If it happens, it happens. Love and real relationships aren't about that crap. If a guy cares so much about whether a woman's a virgin or not, he's either immature or it's just part of the comedy of love — something both sides can laugh about later, not something that should break them apart."

"Besides," she said, grinning widely, "I might not even get married someday. Might die out on an adventure somewhere. So I'm not gonna get hung up over things like this. And if it comes to it, I'll be honest about everything — no regrets."

Tsunade, from her half-ancient, conservative world, could only stare at her in silence for a long moment.

Finally, she shook her head with a bitter smile.

"…I'm sorry," she said quietly. "I just can't agree with your way of thinking. To me… when you love someone, you want to give them your best — your everything. Whether it's your first time… or anything else."

Tsunade hugged her arms around herself. It felt almost laughable — that despite being older than Kiri, despite everything she'd been through… she still couldn't match this woman's view of life.

And so, almost unconsciously, she asked:

"You must've really loved your family, huh?"

Otherwise, she couldn't understand why Kiri would be willing to sacrifice even her purity to return.

But Kiri's answer was flat. Calm. Almost terrifyingly so.

"They're all dead."

"When I was little, I watched my mother get shot dead right in front of me," Kiri said casually, like she was talking about the weather. "If it hadn't been for a cool old man who took me in and raised me, I probably would've ended up like a lot of other women in Kallet — forced to sell their bodies just to survive."

She paused for a second, then gave her own soft curves a playful squeeze.

"Though, I mean, let's be honest. With looks like mine, I would've done pretty well for myself."

Kiri grinned, giving her ample chest a teasing little shake.

"After all, no matter how you look at it, these are pretty impressive by normal standards."

As she spoke, her eyes couldn't help but drift over to Tsunade — and well, there was just no competing with that. On Tsunade's somewhat shorter, more compact frame, those outrageously large assets looked even more surreal.

If not for Tsunade's mature, world-weary face, anyone would've mistaken her for one of those eternal loli-big-boob types from fantasy stories.

"Ahem..."

Tsunade instinctively crossed her arms over her chest. She was long past the age of caring about such things — or at least, that's what she told herself. But still, being openly envied by another woman? That always managed to bring a tiny, proud smirk to her lips.

It was like the classic male obsession — sure, length wasn't everything, stamina and skill mattered more — but men would still brag about size. It was an old, almost primal pride.

And for someone like Tsunade, with her more traditional mindset, she still took pride in her figure.

Good childbearing hips. Beautiful looks.

Back in her youth, those were prime qualities.

Honestly, if not for her temper... and her decision to become a ninja... she probably could've married into nobility. Not the Daimyo of the Land of Fire — her bloodline was too closely tied to theirs — but maybe one from the Land of Lightning or the Land of Earth.

Not that those nations exactly had a good relationship with Konoha, so it would've been... complicated.

Still, what caught her attention the most wasn't the past — it was Kiri herself.

"You really are... tough," Tsunade said, watching Kiri with something close to admiration.

If only she could live as freely as this girl — maybe she wouldn't feel so lost all the time.

Kiri had survived a far harsher life than she ever had, yet here she was — laughing, joking, drinking like life was just one big party.

In comparison, Tsunade felt... small.

Kiri, meanwhile, just shrugged.

"Tough? Nah. I'm just doing my best to stay alive, same as anyone else. And if I'm gonna be alive, might as well enjoy every damn day of it, right? Who knows if we'll even see tomorrow? Wasting time drowning in sorrow is just boring as hell."

With that, she tilted back her beer and downed it in one go, then grabbed a towel and casually began drying off her gorgeous, well-toned body.

Tsunade finally climbed out of the bath too — and as she bent over slightly, well...

Even Kiri found herself staring.

Droplets of water slid down Tsunade's impossibly full curves, gathering together at the very tips before falling like tiny streams from her pink nipples.

"..."

Honestly, that size was just ridiculous.
