Tyson brought Hana into the room after dressing her in his shirt. His face still held the same indifference, but his eyes constantly scrutinized Hana.
Pressing the intercom button, he ordered, "Bring breakfast."
Hana stood silently in a corner. Her wet hair clung to her soft skin, and she looked like a doll—a broken, innocent, yet unknown doll.
After a while, a servant brought breakfast and placed it on the table.
Tyson sat on the sofa, then looked at Hana and said, "Come, eat."
Hana remained standing.
Tyson's eyebrows furrowed, and he repeated, "Didn't you hear?"
Hana took a hesitant step forward.
She sat on the sofa but just stared at the food in front of her.
"Don't you still know how to eat?" Tyson asked, irritated.
Hana slowly shook her head.
For the first time, Tyson didn't feel annoyance, but a strange sensation. He pulled his plate closer, took a spoon, and began to feed her himself.
Hana felt a little strange at first, but hunger made her swallow the food.
Tyson noticed that she was eating like a child—as if experiencing taste for the first time. He fed Hana her breakfast.
"Okay, that's enough," Tyson said in a cold tone.
Then he picked up his coat, looked at Hana, and said, "Now we have to go out." Saying this, Tyson grabbed Hana's hand, pulled her outside, and put her in the car.
Tyson's black car stopped in front of the city's biggest hospital.
As he got out with Hana, Hana suddenly started trembling. Her breath quickened, and she clutched Tyson's shirt tightly, saying, "P..pain... injection... medicine..."
It didn't take Tyson long to realize that Hana was scared. He glared at her and said, "You're afraid?"
Tears welled up in Hana's eyes, but she said nothing.
Tyson snapped at her, "This isn't a jail, it's a hospital. No one will hurt you here."
But Hana didn't budge.
Tyson got angry. He grabbed her wrist, pulled her forcefully inside.
Hana's eyes were wide with fear.
As he led her, Tyson said, "This place... this place isn't like what you think, Hana."
But his words were useless.
Hana seemed to understand nothing.
Tyson forcibly took her inside a cabin where Kevin was sitting.
Kevin, his younger cousin, was the city's top surgeon.
As soon as his eyes fell on Hana, he was shocked. He said in surprise, "Tyson? Who is this girl?" Tyson didn't answer, just gestured for Hana to sit.
But Hana remained standing, still clutching Tyson's shirt.
Kevin looked at Tyson and then at Hana. Kevin said, "I think this is the first time you've brought a girl here?"
Tyson glared at him and said, "Don't talk nonsense. Check her."
Kevin took a deep breath and said, "But first tell me who she is and what happened to her?"
Tyson was about to say something when Hana grabbed his hand tightly and slowly started saying, "No… no pain… don't tie me up again…"
For the first time, Tyson felt it—this fear wasn't just of the hospital… this fear was from an old wound.
Tyson had always liked the atmosphere of the hospital—
Everyone here followed rules, and no one dared to question him.
But today the atmosphere was a bit different. Hana, who was still holding his shirt tightly, was trembling with fear.
Tyson forcibly brought her inside and looked at Kevin. He said, "Do a full check-up on her."
Kevin, who had been carefully observing Hana until now, remained silent for a moment after hearing Tyson's words.
Then he took a long breath and moved towards Hana. Kevin said, "Relax, I'm not going to harm you."
But the same nervousness was still in Hana's eyes.
Tyson snapped his fingers and said, "Hurry up, I don't have time."
Kevin understood that Tyson needed answers—and that too, as soon as possible.
Hana was still standing close to Tyson, her grip hadn't loosened.
Tyson shook off her hand and said, "This is a hospital, not a slaughterhouse. Go and sit down."
Hana stepped back a little, but there was a deep unease in her eyes.
Kevin asked her to sit on a bed and slowly began to examine her.
There were deep blue marks on Hana's arms—old wounds, burn marks, and dried bloodstains.
It didn't take Kevin long to understand that Hana had been experimented on for years.
Kevin said, "This girl... what condition did you find her in?"
Tyson leaned against the wall, then said in a cold voice, "In a lab."
Kevin looked at him in surprise, "Lab? What kind of lab?"
Tyson narrowed his eyes and said, "The kind where research is done on humans, where they are used like pawns."
Kevin's face turned serious. He checked Hana's pulse—slow but steady.
There were needle marks in several places on her skin, proof that she had been given medication regularly.
Kevin said, "Hana, are you in any pain?"
Hana nodded her head slightly.
Kevin then asked, "Did you get injections?"
A haze came over Hana's eyes, as if a memory had shaken her from within.
She slowly rubbed her arm where an old wound still existed.
Tyson noticed that she was moving her feet nervously.
"Maybe this is the first time she's seeing the outside world," Kevin said, thinking.
About an hour later, Kevin called Tyson into his cabin.
Tyson sat down on the chair, but there was no patience in his eyes.
Tyson said, "Speak."
Kevin placed the file in front of him. "This girl knows nothing, Tyson."
Tyson raised his eyebrows and said, "Meaning?"
Kevin said in a serious tone, "She was locked in a lab since childhood. She never got to see the outside world. Her body... she was kept as a project since birth."
Tyson listened to him silently.
Kevin said, "The marks on her body aren't just from injuries. She has been given injections for years, she has been tied up repeatedly for testing. This girl has lived in a prison, Tyson."
A slight smile appeared on Tyson's lips, and he said, "Then she fits perfectly into my world."
Kevin looked at him with disbelief and said, "You've always been so ruthless, but this girl is a human being, Tyson. Not a machine!"
Tyson looked at him with cold eyes and said without any expression, "And I'm no saint. My job is to break people."
Kevin took a deep breath and said, "Do you know what was done to her?"
Tyson said nothing.
Kevin said, "There's no sense of the world inside her. Shame, fear, love, hate... nothing."
Tyson remained silent, then suddenly asked Kevin a question—"Is she a virgin?"
Kevin looked at him in shock and said in surprise, "Seriously, Tyson?"
Tyson lost his patience and said sternly, "You have no right to glare at me like that. Just tell me."
Kevin stared at him for a few moments, then said in a cold voice, "Yes, she is a virgin."
Tyson thought for a while, then got up from the chair and said, "Is your work done? Now leave her."
Hana was still sitting outside the cabin, the same fear still in her eyes.
Tyson went to her, looked at her, and without saying anything, picked her up.
Hana offered no resistance because she didn't even know what resistance was.
Tyson took her to his car... Hana didn't even peek out the window the whole way.
She didn't know that there was a world outside to look at.
As soon as Tyson reached home with Hana, he laid her down in the bedroom and said, "Now go to sleep."
Hana gave no reaction.
Tyson looked at her and said to himself, "This girl wasn't a human, but a blank book.
And now, Tyson was going to write it his way.
