Chapter 5 - Chapter 4:The Great Escape

Alarms blared across the academy as Ape-X sprinted through the restricted corridors. Red lights flashed, casting eerie shadows on the metallic walls. **He had to escape.**

The academy was hiding something—something big. The way they reacted to his power, the mention of an ancient being like him, the **blood tests**—they were scared. **And if they were scared, that meant he was dangerous.**

Good.

The sound of boots thundered behind him. Guards in tactical gear rounded the corner, their weapons crackling with energy. "Stand down, or we'll shoot!" one of them yelled.

Ape-X grinned. **They have no idea who they're dealing with.**

He raised his hand.

**Lock.**

The guards' weapons jammed. Their suits froze in place, the exoskeletons locking up as if time itself had stopped for them. Their panicked yells filled the hallway as they struggled, unable to move.

Ape-X smirked. **Too easy.**

He dashed forward, weaving through the frozen guards, and **kicked down a door** leading to the academy's lower levels.

What he saw **shocked him.**

Rows of massive glass tubes lined the underground chamber, each filled with a glowing green liquid. Inside them floated **monsters—mutated beasts, hybrids of things that shouldn't exist.** Some looked part-human, others were covered in **scales, extra limbs, or metallic implants.**

Ape-X's fists clenched. **They weren't just studying powers—they were creating something.**

Then, he heard a voice.

"You weren't supposed to see this."

A chill ran down his spine. He turned slowly.

Standing at the far end of the room was a tall man with glowing purple eyes. His presence alone was suffocating, radiating an aura so powerful it made the air feel heavy.

**Kaizer of Mind.**

The leader of the **11 Kaizerians.**

Ape-X didn't know much about them, only rumors—beings said to be the closest thing to gods, ruling over existence itself. And standing before him was the **strongest of them all.**

"You're an anomaly," the Kaizer of Mind said, stepping forward. "A glitch in the system. And I don't like glitches."

Ape-X took a defensive stance. **This guy was on another level.** Fighting him head-on was suicide.

He needed an opening.

Then, he got an idea.

**Trap.**

Instantly, the floor beneath the Kaizer of Mind **vanished,** revealing a void-like maze with twisting, endless corridors. A normal person would be trapped for eternity.

But the Kaizer of Mind simply **smirked.**

**"Impressive. But it won't work on me."**

With a single thought, the maze **collapsed**, reality bending to his will.

Ape-X's eyes widened. **So, this is the power of a Kaizerian…**

"You're coming with me," the Kaizer of Mind said, raising a hand. **An invisible force crushed down on Ape-X, pinning him to the floor.** His bones creaked under the pressure.

**Damn it… I can't move.**

The Kaizer of Mind walked closer, his glowing eyes locked onto Ape-X like a predator.

"You don't even know what you are, do you?" he muttered. "But don't worry. Once we extract your memories, you'll remember everything."

**Extract my memories?!**

Panic shot through Ape-X. He couldn't let that happen.

Then, he remembered—**his ultimate trump card.**

He whispered the command.

**"Berserker."**

A black chain **exploded** into the room, tearing through the walls like a rampaging beast. The **Chain of Berserker.**

It wrapped around Ape-X's body, shattering the Kaizer of Mind's telekinetic hold.

Ape-X grinned. "You should've chained me up better."

Before the Kaizer of Mind could react, the **Chain of Berserker multiplied**, launching hundreds of chains in every direction, smashing the tubes, wrecking the facility, and pulling Ape-X **straight through the ceiling.**

**CRASH!**

He landed outside the academy, panting. Behind him, alarms screamed louder than ever. **He had done it. He had escaped.**

But this was only the beginning.

Because now, the **Kaizerians knew he existed.
