"Arhhhhhh!!!"
A loud battle cry erupted from within the swirling dust, there was a sudden gush of blue energy which cleared the dust.
"Unbelievable" the king stammered.
Eckhard couldn't help but smile, 'a breakthrough, now may the match begin' he said to himself.
"W…what just happened?" bane stammered
Looking at him, all Malcon could see was blue energy radiating from Damian's body.
"I think he just had a breakthrough," Malcon suggested, "he's a veteran," he added, with his eyes wise open as though if he blinked he'll miss something.
For a while, Damian stood still, his broken hands dangling in midair, saliva pouring from his mouth.
"Mana magic" he said slowly, "body armor" he added.
Slowly thick blue mana started spreading throughout his body. The mana looked like it had layers, forming a transparent like armor, and it seemed to have healed his broken arm. Slowly the mana created a chest piece and even a helmet. As he opened his eyes, an eerie blue glow gazed upon Adrian, who stood still looking at him.
Adrian stood calm until Damian seemed to have transformed, then he slowly cracked his neck.
Damian slowly raised his hand and instantly a blue round energy radiating bomb shot out, clearing the path as it went. Adrian slightly shifted to the Corner, allowing the bomb to pass him.
All Malcon saw was a blue thin line and Damian was standing in front of Adrian, his fist moving towards his face. Adrian quickly bent, evading the attack and at the same time going for a counter-attack. There was a sudden deafening sound escorted by a shock wave as He punched Damian's armor covered stomach, but Damian didn't move, instead he attempted to punch Adrian again.
Adrian quickly grabbed his fist halfway to his face, at the same time, using his right hand, he punched Damian again, hoping to penetrate the armor.
A series of breathtaking shockwaves erupted as Adrian's fists relentlessly crashed into Damian's stomach, each strike lifting him higher off the ground.
"Arghhh!" Adrian roared, his punches growing fiercer.
BOOM!
With a final devastating blow, Damian was sent flying.
Adrian's face was twisted in rage, his eyes glowing white like the clouds, as if his irises had vanished.
BOOM!
A thunderous bang echoed across the battlefield as Adrian stomped his foot into the ground, launching himself upward. The sheer force sent ripples of earth into the air, the ground cracking beneath him under the immense pressure.
He was so fast that it looked like he himself had turned into a white light.
"Die bartered!" Damian shouted, still in midair.
And with an unimaginable speed, propelled himself downward in a blue light.
Malcon lowered his head slightly, closing his eyes just as an earth-shattering shockwave exploded from Adrian and Damian's clash. The sheer force howled like a raging storm, tearing through the battlefield with violent intensity.
BOOM!
A deafening explosion shook the battlefield, forcing Malcon to snap his head up. His eyes widened as something massive tumbled violently across the arena, kicking up a thick cloud of dust in its wake.
Yet, it wasn't the fallen figure that disturbed Malcon.
Looking up, he saw Adrian, engulfed in a blinding white light, streaking through the air like a divine spear. Below, Damian braced himself, his feet planted firmly against the shattered ground as he struggled to break his fall. His armor was partially destroyed, blood streaming down his face as he gasped for breath.
"Arhhhhhhhhhh!!!."
Damian shouted with his blood covered face, and in blinding blue light shot from the ground, sending ripples of the earth as he propelled himself upward.
Malcon was surprised at how determined Damian was to win the match, it looked like though he was weighing to put his life on the line as long as he won.
There was a thunderous bang as both their fists collided, sending shockwaves through the arena. As they landed on the ground, Adriana swiftly attempted to punch Damian in the face. He reacted instantly, blocking with his left hand while simultaneously striking him with his right. The force sent Adrian's face slamming into the ground. Without hesitation, he delivered a ruthless kick to his stomach, launching him several meters away.
Adrian slowly stood, blood streaming down his face as he breathed heavily.
"Mana Magic!" Damian shouted, striking his hand through the air.
A thick, blue, radiating line of energy burst from his palm. Caught by surprise, Adrian couldn't defend himself. The mana struck his stomach, launching him backward with a devastating force, shockwaves rippling through the arena.
Adrian, with both his feet firm to the ground, he broke the fall. Looking at him, Malcon could see how beaten up he was, he was unable to imagine how many bones he had left.
For a while, Adrian stood still thinking, he knew he was faster and stronger than Damian, but what gave Damian an edge above or equal to him, was the use of his mana. And throughout the match he had been trying to activate the mana magic himself, making him distracted, and still, he wasn't able to achieve such power.
"Let's end this" he said, standing on guard
Malcon felt a sudden cold wind pass, and in a blink of an eye, Adrian stood in front of Damian, his fist moving towards his chest.
'So fast' Damian said to himself, releasing he couldn't block the attack.
Damian spat out a mouth full of blood as an immense force took him off his feet, but he didn't go far as something grabbed him. Out of reflexes, he quickly covered his head, but the immense pressure he felt broke the amour, smashing him to the ground.
He tried to move, but he couldn't, his body was human and all he could see was a pair of two white breathtaking eyes staring down at him.
Adrian slightly bent down, using his left hand he grabbed Damian's head, raising him up from the ground. With his fist, he aimed to punch Damian.
"I yield" Damian affected defeat, at the last second.
For a while, Adrian stood still, his fist an inch away from Damian's face, as though he was deliberating whether he should let him go or not.
There was a soft thud as Damian fell to the ground.
"And we have a winner," Eckhard announced, raising Adrian's hand for the audience to see, and they all cheered.
Two medic appeared and after discussing with Eckhard, they vanished with Adrian and Damian.
The king couldn't believe that children of less than eighteen, were using their ability to such a level. Deeping his hand into the box, and bought out two pieces of paper.
"Number two and number six" the king shouted.
Looking at the arena, Malcon could see Ivy and Tom walk in from both sides.
Jason was a tall boy, with spiky black hair, and pitch-black eyes. He walked into the arena looking assured of his victory.
A wall pinned with various weapons suddenly appeared in front of each of them. Jason picked a sword and the wall of weapons disappeared., ivy, on the other hand, picked a bow and as many arrows as she could.
Just by looking at Jason, It was obvious that he looked certain that this duel will go in his favor. Ivy, on the other hand, looked a little anxious.
Jason, with his pride, waved at her to attack first.
Taking a deep breath, she quickly shot an arrow at Jason, and a look of surprise flashed across his face. Such speed, he muttered under his breath.
Jason slightly moved his body aside at the last second, and the arrow narrowly went past him. He turned to where ivy once stood, but she was no longer there, looking around, he saw her running around.
My turn, Jason muttered under his breath, and with an unimaginable speed dashed towards ivy, but came to a sudden stoop as an arrow went past his nose, slightly scratching his nose.
"Telepathy" the king and the captain said at once, they had noticed that it was the same arrow she shot previously that came back.
For a while, Jason stood still, ivy could feel his aura change. He slightly raised his head and his cold gaze met hers, with his arm, he cleaned the blood off his nose. Ivy quickly attached an arrow to her bow, ready to shoot. But her eyes widened in surprise, as Jason was now standing in front of her, his fist moving towards her stomach. A burst of air waves escaped as Jason's fist made contact with her stomach, and she was sent flying, crashing into the sand.
For a while, she lay on the floor, her brain orienting itself to what she was doing on the floor. Getting a hold of herself, she stood up. With a weary focus, she shot an arrow at Jason, but Jason didn't move, he stood still as though he were waiting for the arrow. As the arrow made contact with Jason, the arrow broke in two and fell to the ground. Ivy couldn't believe what she was seeing. Is his body made of iron, she asked herself.
There was a gosh air wave as Jason ran toward her, still planning to punch her.
"That won't happen again," Ivy said, with a determined look on her face.
Using the trick the vice captain had taught her personally, for a while it looked like she loosened up. Jason appeared in front of her, his fist moving towards her face. Ivy, who had her eyes closed, calmly raised her left hand up and redirected Jason's punch as it came. The air wave that came with Jason's punch went past her. Without wasting a moment, she slammed her palm into Jason's stomach. A gust of air burst from his lips as he was sent crashing across the field. Taking a few steps back, she pulled out an arrow, ready to shoot.
